𝟒。𝟓 ⭐️‘𝐒Wow I loved this！ I love the pregnancy trope but only IF it is done well。 And Teagan Hunter nailed this one！ One-timer was such a funny， banter filled hockey romance and I loved every second of it， it was such a fun and light-hearted read for me。The two main characters Hollis and Lowell had such great chemistry from start to finish。 I loved how their relationship formed， how they both came together to raise a baby and also fall for each-other， it just worked perfectly for me and was pace 𝟒。𝟓 ⭐️‘𝐒Wow I loved this！ I love the pregnancy trope but only IF it is done well。 And Teagan Hunter nailed this one！ One-timer was such a funny， banter filled hockey romance and I loved every second of it， it was such a fun and light-hearted read for me。The two main characters Hollis and Lowell had such great chemistry from start to finish。 I loved how their relationship formed， how they both came together to raise a baby and also fall for each-other， it just worked perfectly for me and was paced so nicely。 There was a nice continuous flow to this story that made me not want to put it down。 The star of the show was Hollis though， I LOVED her！ She was so sassy and spunky， there is just something about her personality I adored。 And she showed so much strength and resilience in this book， I loved it。 I also really did like Lowell and his ability to put aside his past to move on with his future。 Plus their banter together was just unmatched， I loved hearing their back and forward little convos。 Both of these characters were just very likeable for me！ I also loved the slow build in this book， nothing was rushed and cramed in which is very easy for books to do， especially ones that follow pregnancy trope。 The development of events and the relationship seemed completely natural to me and a lot of simmering feelings building up between them felt very real。 There was just so many cute and fun moments in this book and if you are looking for a fun， steamy hockey romance to read that involves the pregnancy trope I definitely recommend picking this up and giving it a go！ *I was kindly given an e-ARC of this book in exchange for an honest review。* 。。。more

Getting to know Hollis and Lowell was such a joy。 They complemented each other well and were able to understand one another on another level。 I loved watching them navigate being together while also trying to navigate their new reality together。 I loved being back with the Comets and hope for lots more books from the team！

Thank you to Valentine PR and Tegan Hunter for the ARC。 The carolina comets have become one of my all time favorite hockey romance books and they just keep getting better and better。 I devoured this book in one day！ Hollis and Lowell have such a fun dynamic that is lots of banter and teasing， playfulness but also moments of angst， they are both characters that have gone through stuff and have their own issues that make it harder for them。 However， seeing them accept that they will have a baby so Thank you to Valentine PR and Tegan Hunter for the ARC。 The carolina comets have become one of my all time favorite hockey romance books and they just keep getting better and better。 I devoured this book in one day！ Hollis and Lowell have such a fun dynamic that is lots of banter and teasing， playfulness but also moments of angst， they are both characters that have gone through stuff and have their own issues that make it harder for them。 However， seeing them accept that they will have a baby soon changes everything and watching them learn each other on a deeper level and fall in love。 I also loved seeing Colin’s relationship with Hollis as brother and sister in law。 It was so sweet reading how protective and sweet he is of her and the other guys how they all are their own family and the girls having their bond， watching games， etc。 I love their found family and that Lowell and Hollis joining that。 I loved this book and I loved them and the epilogue was seriously the absolute cutest and sweet to see them from where they start to where they end up later， I think Tegan did an amazing job of writing their story and I can’t wait for the next book。 。。。more

What happens when a not so meet-cute ultimately turns into a surprise pregnancy？ Another great book in the Carolina Comets hockey series。Hollis is definitely not impressed when she encounters Lowell in the parking lot at her sister’s wedding rehearsal。 But we can cut her some slack， right， because life has been kicking this woman when she was already down。 Newly divorced， she needs to put a smile on her face this weekend and stay in control。Lowell isn’t by any means a bad guy， but getting smacke What happens when a not so meet-cute ultimately turns into a surprise pregnancy？ Another great book in the Carolina Comets hockey series。Hollis is definitely not impressed when she encounters Lowell in the parking lot at her sister’s wedding rehearsal。 But we can cut her some slack， right， because life has been kicking this woman when she was already down。 Newly divorced， she needs to put a smile on her face this weekend and stay in control。Lowell isn’t by any means a bad guy， but getting smacked in the face wasn’t how he thought this dinner would go。 And getting at least partially blamed for Hollis’s breakdown doesn’t help。 He’s been drama free after he himself was publicly humiliated years ago。 So while he’s understanding to a point， he just wants distance from the crazy chick。Doesn’t help when he’s also drawn to her…or when they end up sleeping together。 You know， just one time。 Soon though， the consequences of that one time are revealed， and his first reaction isn’t great。 But Hollis and Lowell put the drama aside to at least try to become friendly co-parents。 While becoming so very much more。I love the humor between these two characters。 Their text messages back and forth made me laugh out loud。 They were building a friendship for both themselves as well as their child， and it was all relatively angst free。 Oh， there’s some lack of communication， hurt feelings and second guessing along the way。 But overall， there is an underlying respect and fondness for the other that turns into so much more。 All my favorite Comets players are back， as well， which is one of the best things about any series…seeing old book friends while making new ones。 From Hollis’s overprotective brother-in-law…and Lowell’s teammate， Collin…to the goofy rookie Miller， to the hockey player most likely to fall next， Smith…every “secondary” character added something different to Lowell and Hollis’s story。Teagan Hunter again has written a book that I couldn’t put down， didn’t want to end and will recommend wholeheartedly to everyone I know。 。。。more

Awww， I loved Lowell and how he was there for Hollis while she was pregnant， even with his past。 They both have hurts and hurdles to get through but I love how the author has them working through a friendship first， even while they fight their attraction。

3。75 stars rounded up！TL;DR: One-Timer is the third book in Hunter's hockey romance series and it's every bit as funny， cute， and sweet as the first two books。 Accidental pregnancy isn't one of my go-to tropes but I enjoyed watching this story unfold as Hollis and Lowell grow closer and bond over their baby。 Their chemistry was great and his protectiveness over her and the baby was totally swoony！ I already can't wait for the next one What made me happy:✧ There were lots of sweet swoony momen 3。75 stars rounded up！TL;DR: One-Timer is the third book in Hunter's hockey romance series and it's every bit as funny， cute， and sweet as the first two books。 Accidental pregnancy isn't one of my go-to tropes but I enjoyed watching this story unfold as Hollis and Lowell grow closer and bond over their baby。 Their chemistry was great and his protectiveness over her and the baby was totally swoony！ I already can't wait for the next one What made me happy:✧ There were lots of sweet swoony moments between Hollis and Lowell。 Yes， there are lots of rocky painful angsty moments as well but I loved the quieter moments when they get to know each other and do things like read up about pregnancy and when Lowell literally beamed anytime someone mentioned him becoming a dad。 It was super sweet！✧ They also had great chemistry！ It might’ve started off as a one-time thing but their connection was undeniable。 I’m a sucker for when the H/h just click and get to this level of comfort and safety that they don’t even have to try to reach。 It’s a heartwarming feeling （and ngl hits me in my single feels LOL）！ ✧ The overall banter was great and I’m not just talking about between the H/h but with everyone in the story。 I especially loved the hockey crew！ These teammates are great and I'm glad we get more interaction between them with each subsequent book。 I live for the moment Miller gets his own romance and I’m SO excited for Smith and Emilia next！ 😍✧ Speaking of great characters， I also loved the cameos we get in this—especially when Zach and Delia pop up at one point and mention Slice。。。 and their 8 Kids 😂 But it was also great to see more Collins and Rhodes and I loved how they'd stick up for Hollis （especially Collins）！ What I was on the fence about:✧ As much as I enjoyed the romance I do wish we got to see more of it on-page。 I just wanted more of them cos they were great together but a lot of their development happens off-page or through not very detailed （but still adorable） text messages。✧ This had some weird time jumps and it was kind of confusing。 I didn’t know how much time passed with each chapter—sometimes it’d just be one day and others it seemed like weeks but that didn't help with feeling connected to the characters。✧ Slight “instalove” vibes at the start when Lowell goes from being irritated by Hollis to not being able to stop thinking about her in the span of one conversation。✧ It took a while for Lowell to get his s*** together！ 😂 （@75% even！） It was honestly a bit trying at times cos it kind of stalled their romance。 I didn't like the "re-appearance" of his a**hole side towards the end cos the level of his repulsion seemed to come out of nowhere and was never really properly explained—the change was abrupt and felt weird。 All that being said， I really enjoyed Lowell and Hollis' story。 They made a great little family and I loved how they brought the previous couples together and new ones to the mix。 I'm already super excited for the next book， Sin Bin， cos I have a feeling I'll love that couple as much as I love Ryan/Rhodes！ 。。。more
