This is wow。 I was at the edge of my seat reading this。 The story line will have you hooked then BAM it leaves you with more questions。 Crystal North is a great author and another one of her wonderful books。 So want more of these characters。

An easy hook！Intriguing start to the story！ I loved the gradual development and alternative character profile of the heroine — her personality and quirks were easy to empathise with and added to her charm。 I’m definitely looking forward to finding out how this story and universe/alt。reality evolves。

Silenced really took me by surprise。 I went into it thinking it was more of a RH contemporary romance but was pleased surprised when I got the the PNR aspect of the story。 I really enjoyed the characters but I’m not sold on Vance yet。 Bhodie I’m still kind of on the fence about too and I don’t know much about Reef quite yet。 I really liked Cove， he’s sweet and patient especially with MT。 Our girl MT is quite the dynamic FMC。 The fact that she was not an “average” girl was wonderful。 I loved read Silenced really took me by surprise。 I went into it thinking it was more of a RH contemporary romance but was pleased surprised when I got the the PNR aspect of the story。 I really enjoyed the characters but I’m not sold on Vance yet。 Bhodie I’m still kind of on the fence about too and I don’t know much about Reef quite yet。 I really liked Cove， he’s sweet and patient especially with MT。 Our girl MT is quite the dynamic FMC。 The fact that she was not an “average” girl was wonderful。 I loved reading the ways that she was different but I hated how Vance treated her and kind of exploited that。 I can’t wait to see where this story goes！ 。。。more

Well Crystal North， you did it again。 What I mean by this is because she is so good at being so unpredictable。 You think that the story is going in one direction when the brakes get pumped and then thrown off course。 So we start of with getting the feel for the main character Malia。 So we know that her childhood was bad。 Her parents think she is crazy but she isn't。 She isn't though。 Now she is at SCU and trying to make the best of her college experience。 Then we have Vance， Cove， Reef and Bhodi Well Crystal North， you did it again。 What I mean by this is because she is so good at being so unpredictable。 You think that the story is going in one direction when the brakes get pumped and then thrown off course。 So we start of with getting the feel for the main character Malia。 So we know that her childhood was bad。 Her parents think she is crazy but she isn't。 She isn't though。 Now she is at SCU and trying to make the best of her college experience。 Then we have Vance， Cove， Reef and Bhodi who are hot as all get out。 Now there is something different about them。 We get some information about why they are different but not the full scope。 They are at SCU undercover and looking for the Star。 Who is someone who they will gravitate too。 Now here is the thing， they don't recognize the pull since they never have experienced it before。 There is one girl that they each constantly think about but are so busy trying to find the Shikari who are killing women。 Then there is also something going on with Malia， like her being able to hear voices and other things。 She is real skittish around a group of people。 Each of these men though are hot and cold with Malia but she is relaxed around them。 Well except for Vance and Reef。 Vance is just being a douche and Reef has yet to meet her。 So what is going on？ This is definitely a slow burn but the mystery of the story。 Since we were left with this huge cliffhanger trying to figure out what will happen next。 I cannot wait for the next book。 。。。more

This book was an amazing read that kept me interested and reading from beginning to end。 It moves along at a pace which is perfect for the story， not too fast nor too slow。 It has amazing characters that you want to know more about and you cannot help but fall in love with them and a story that is interesting and keep you reading and needing more。 This book has to be read， there is no doubt about it。

This is a great build up to a new series 。 Mai-Tai like Cove calls her reminds me of an onion ， so many layers to unravel 。 This whole book is going come into its own and I am so down for this ride 。 One of fav is MT saying “ A。 Stranger。 Is。 Touching。Me。” She is so my spirit sister 。 I’ll be making the same noise 。 I can’t believe we have to wait till next year to read it 。

This review has been hidden because it contains spoilers。 To view it， click here。 Omg！！！ This book was so good the professor is a huge dick all because of a misunderstanding that he’s taken too far and B is a bit of a jerk 。 Cove is actually really sweet but Reef wasn’t in the book that much hopefully he’ll be in book two 。 Mai - Tai needs to stand up for herself。 I get she had horrible parents that didn’t let her light shine but hopefully she learns to be more confident in her self。
