I was so glad to be back in this world。 It’s so rich and full of characters I know and love。 This second book in the series picks up where the first one left off。 Drakon is a little incapacitated， but Mac figures how to temporarily fix him。 Next， Mac and Drakon try to find out where Ludovic is going to strike next， but while they don’t know where， they do know that the shifters are involved。 This is just like almost every book I’ve read by this author: well-written， fast paced， and fun。 There we I was so glad to be back in this world。 It’s so rich and full of characters I know and love。 This second book in the series picks up where the first one left off。 Drakon is a little incapacitated， but Mac figures how to temporarily fix him。 Next， Mac and Drakon try to find out where Ludovic is going to strike next， but while they don’t know where， they do know that the shifters are involved。 This is just like almost every book I’ve read by this author: well-written， fast paced， and fun。 There were a couple secrets revealed in this one， and we get a little more closeness with the Vampire Bride and the First Vampire。 Loved it。 Highly recommend。 I was provided a complimentary copy which I voluntarily reviewed。 。。。more

Wonderful fantasy that’s full of fantastic magical characters。 This particular series is about Mac。 She isn’t sure what powers she has。 Drakon is the First Vampire and finds himself attracted to Mac。 There’s drama， suspense， mystery， intrigue and a bit of romance。 Fun to read and I can’t wait for book 3 to come out。
