If you want to read an amateurishly-written story that has a plot in common with probably 90% of the worst ABC movies of the week from the 1970s, and that also manages to justify the actions of terrorists and condemn America for - what exactly?, then this is the book for you!

Magiccats

Really enjoyed this book。 The entire premise would make a great movie。 The author did a fantastic job developing the characters。

What an incredible book。 I could put it down but that’s only because if I had continued in one go it would be x time in the morning。 I went back to the book each and every night to continue reading。 Absolutely enjoyed every chapter no matter how intense it was。 I’ve got to find another T。J。 NEWMAN book stat!!!

If you can roll with the fact that this really was a blockbuster book, you'll enjoy it。 It was action packed。 Theo's scenes were by far the most over the top。 It got me choked up though。 I do not cry reading often, but there was a lot of intense emotion in it。 If you can roll with the fact that this really was a blockbuster book, you'll enjoy it。 It was action packed。 Theo's scenes were by far the most over the top。 It got me choked up though。 I do not cry reading often, but there was a lot of intense emotion in it。 。。。more

This review has been hidden because it contains spoilers。 To view it, click here。 It's a big disappointment for me。 There are some incredibly forced plot points which I find utterly unconvincing。 But I am glad the author had her big break and I am interested in the film adaptation。 Seems to me it has great potential but it needs a bit more polish。 It's a big disappointment for me。 There are some incredibly forced plot points which I find utterly unconvincing。 But I am glad the author had her big break and I am interested in the film adaptation。 Seems to me it has great potential but it needs a bit more polish。 。。。more

I’ve been reading blurbs saying #Falling by T。J。 Newman is this year’s perfect vacation book。 I beg to disagree。 I think #Falling is the perfect stay at home and curl up with a book that will turn your hair prematurely grey from the suspense you’re about to subject yourself to book。 Here’s what I did。 First, sent my wife off for a nice long visit with her Aunt Betty。 Next, fed and walked Bailey our dog and then hid a whole box of chew toys all over the house。 Then I got a huge bag of Skinny Pop I’ve been reading blurbs saying #Falling by T。J。 Newman is this year’s perfect vacation book。 I beg to disagree。 I think #Falling is the perfect stay at home and curl up with a book that will turn your hair prematurely grey from the suspense you’re about to subject yourself to book。 Here’s what I did。 First, sent my wife off for a nice long visit with her Aunt Betty。 Next, fed and walked Bailey our dog and then hid a whole box of chew toys all over the house。 Then I got a huge bag of Skinny Pop and a couple bottles of Coke de Mexico and brought them to my favorite chair, dimmed the lights and turned off my phone。 Finally I sat down', picked up the book, stared at the cover a few seconds, cracked it open and began reading。 Before long I thought I consumed too much popcorn and pop, but I realized that rumbling in my stomach was from all the tension created by #Falling。 So I ask you: who needs a vacation when you can have such a thrilling trip ? 。。。more

This started really slow for me。 It had a great premise, but the FBI agent was irritating because he was making really dumb/irrational decisions。 The last 100 pages or so were more intense and interesting though。

I think Falling was genuinely a really impressive debut novel。 It’s riveting, incredibly fast paced, it kept my attention, I didn’t want to put it down, and it made me never want to get on an airplane again as long as I live 😅😂 You kind of have to suspend disbelief。。。。。。The ending is a bit wild。 But, I really loved the book。

This book is one very good plot device wrapped in 250 pages of silliness。Reads like the movie tie-in version of the sequel to a pretty good action movie in the early 90s。 The setup is great and the characters are pretty good but everything else is extremely silly。 I couldn't connect with the writing so it was much harder to brush away the "。。。but why?" moments。 Props to my local library - if I had spent money on this I'd be bummed。Wait for the movie。 This book is one very good plot device wrapped in 250 pages of silliness。Reads like the movie tie-in version of the sequel to a pretty good action movie in the early 90s。 The setup is great and the characters are pretty good but everything else is extremely silly。 I couldn't connect with the writing so it was much harder to brush away the "。。。but why?" moments。 Props to my local library - if I had spent money on this I'd be bummed。Wait for the movie。 。。。more

Thriller will have you binge reading!Spell binding from the first! This author knows her subject and it shows! Maybe a little too wordy at the end--but overall a wonderful first novel!

Thrilled to see an Arizona author, a product of Mesa public schools, and former employee of my all-time favorite bookstore, Changing Hands, in Tempe, enjoy well-deserved recognition associated with penning America's breakout summer must read book! I blazed through it, and finished feeling exhausted but exhilarated after a nail-biting conclusion!I urge all suspense and thriller fans to purchase a copy from your favorite bookseller, then share it with your bookclub, friends and fellow bookworms。 Y Thrilled to see an Arizona author, a product of Mesa public schools, and former employee of my all-time favorite bookstore, Changing Hands, in Tempe, enjoy well-deserved recognition associated with penning America's breakout summer must read book! Do NOT read this while on a plane。 This was good with twists。 However, I predicted much of it early on。 This may trigger some feelings about 9/11 for some。

🎧AUDIOBOOK REVIEW🎧This was fun to listen to。 From the beginning it was full speed ahead。 This is one of those books that would make a great movie。

Jessica

Not great, but I did stay up too late finishing it。

I saw a 5 star review for the audible version of this book and that review made me buy it immediately。 This book didn’t disappoint, and i listened to it in under a days time。 I truly couldn’t stop listening and I was so immersed in the book that I forgot what i was doing at the time (driving, cardio, working)。 100% one of the best reads this year。

Karen Bartiromo

Such a good book! A lot of great suspense!

Benita

This was one of those books where you have to find out what happens。 It’s also one of those stories you hate you’ve given space in your mind because it will haunt you!! It’s so well written!! You feel the anguish and desperation of all the characters。 How can I say I enjoyed a story about a hijacked plane?? I don’t know yet that is exactly what I’m saying。

I'm already anticipating the blockbuster movie! What an absolutely crazy, entertaining ride! This is a wonderful read。 It moves at a breakneck pace, the characters are cheer worthy and the ending is satisfying。 Summer is the best time to watch a action packed summer blockbuster at the theater or binge an incredible new series on Netflix… and it is also the perfect time to read a fast paced thriller like Falling。 Highly recommend。 This was quite the page turner。

Phillip Marquart

Was fine。 Not totally sure what all the fuss is about… it it was ok。

4。5 stars。 Well, I just finished this powerhouse of a suspense novel, and my heart is still pounding。 It takes place in a matter of hours。 A captain is blackmailed into crashing his plane because a terrorist has kidnapped his wife and children。 Who will he choose, the 149 souls on board or his loving family? Filled with a wonderful cast of characters, nail-biting action scenes and tender-hearted human interaction, I highly recommend this book and can’t wait to see what they do with it on the big 4。5 stars。 Well, I just finished this powerhouse of a suspense novel, and my heart is still pounding。 It takes place in a matter of hours。 A captain is blackmailed into crashing his plane because a terrorist has kidnapped his wife and children。 Who will he choose, the 149 souls on board or his loving family? I recommend this book。The author grabs your attention immediately and continues to keep your interest up until the last page。Some 9/11 type moments, but not distressing。
