Summary

I don’t want to hurt him—I just want to punish him。

It’s bad enough being the only female owner of the Salacious Players’ Club, but I’m also the only one without a kink, or so I thought。

Imagine my surprise when the kink quiz suggests that I’m not so vanilla after all。

In fact, I’m a lot more like Emerson Grant than I thought。
Just one problem—I have no idea how to be a Domme。

That is, until the app matches me with someone willing to help me learn。

He’s too young for me。
Too stubborn。 Too good looking。
And, oh yeah, my friend’s son。

Beau Grant is a brat。 I’d hate that about him if I didn’t love punishing him so much。
Underneath all of that attitude is a man who is misunderstood, selfless, and in need of direction。

But if he wants mercy, he has to earn it。

There are a million reasons why I should stay away, but I’m tired of doing what everyone thinks I should do。

I finally know what I want, and I’m ready to take what’s mine。

Mercy Me, Maggie! Finally!Sara Cate’s fourth installment of the Salacious Players’ Club series does not disappoint! From the very first time I read that opening prologue in Praise, I couldn’t wait to find out what was going through Maggie’s mind —what her kink would turn out to be。 Needless to say, she discovers, as does the reader, that she is anything but vanilla。 And pairing her up with the hot, young, “bratty” Beau… I’d say it’s a perfectly imperfect match made in smutty, kinky heaven! As alw Mercy Me, Maggie! I loved this book so much! I loved seeing Beau and Maggie explore the sub/dom(me) relationship in a healthy and safe way。 The story was really well written and covered so many important themes。 I loved how strong Maggie was and although my boi Beau was so broken in the beginning, I absolutely loved reading his growth throughout the novel。 This spice is off the charts and the banter between the characters was so hot! Throughout this entire series, Sara has done a phenomenal job balancing spice, serious moments, and plot。 My only critiques include the book cover and the safe word that Maggie uses。 Without going too much into it, the book cover is not what I imagined for the series/final book to be。 Also as Maggie tries to figure out her safe word for her and Beau to use, she gets advice from Beau’s ex who also happens to be in a relationship with Beau’s father。 Beau’s ex has a sub/dom relationship with Beau’s father and uses “mercy” as their safe word and that’s the word Maggie uses as well。 Although I loved seeing the title being used in the book, I found the reference/connection to be a bit odd。 Overall, the book was phenomenal and I loved reading Beau and Maggie’s journey to a healthy and happy relationship。 I believe this is the final book in the series and I’ve loved every moment of it! Sara finished strong and this is one of my favourite series of 2022。 I cannot wait to see what’s next for Sara Cate! 。。。more

Every time Sara releases a new Salacious Players Club book I always wonder how she is going to make it better than the last but every single time she succeeds! Mercy is out of this world AMAZING! I refuse to pick a favorite because this series is tooo fucking great! Maggie & Beau have truly captured my heart! Their love and their story is truly impeccable。 The growth from both main character shows you that the right person and real love can heal。

Sara has an incredible way of writing with real life issues and struggles while simultaneously writing some of the sexiest scenes I have ever read。 Her characters are very relatable and I find myself instantly connecting with them。 I thrive on seeing characters from the previous books and she interconnects them so perfectly。 Maggie is co-owner of the Salacious Players Sex Club。 She’s a classic control freak in all aspects of her career, but in her personal life…not so much。 While everyone around her quite literally has found their “one” as well as their kink and what makes them happy。 She’s stuck and not at a place of content and at 34 it’s starting to wear on her。 Until she takes her clubs own quiz to determine what her kink is。 Beau Grant…yes you read that correctly Daddy Emerson’s son。 Beau is a lost, angry and confused 22 year who has absolutely no direction in life。 He’s having to go through the motions of his dad being with his ex girlfriend, past traumas, and he’s full of resentment。 He also finds himself taking the Salacious’s kink quiz and is extremely surprised and in denial of his results。 What is discovered shocks them both。Finding the beauty in the pain, the trust in control and that everyone has something that makes them feel whole, for me makes this story a forever fave。I know I will miss these characters so much, hopefully we meet again。 And yes I definitely cried reading this book。 。。。more

I don’t think any author will ever compare to Sara Cate’s masterful ability to drive a story with both character and plot。 The character development and growth in this book is SUBLIME, and the underlying story that drives each character to their rightful place is enough to keep you turning the pages until you’re begging for sleep (but refuse to actually close your eyes until the final page is finished)。In book one of the Salacious Players Club, many readers were put off by Beau who was judgmenta I don’t think any author will ever compare to Sara Cate’s masterful ability to drive a story with both character and plot。 The character development and growth in this book is SUBLIME, and the underlying story that drives each character to their rightful place is enough to keep you turning the pages until you’re begging for sleep (but refuse to actually close your eyes until the final page is finished)。In book one of the Salacious Players Club, many readers were put off by Beau who was judgmental, rude, and the biggest brat I think I’ve met in a book thus far。 And yet, this book – book four in the series – uses his brattiness to its benefit。 Or should I say, to Maggie’s benefit。A BDSM, domme/sub story filled with learning to appreciate and accept new things about yourself, this book is everything you didn’t know you needed。 I loved every moment, never wanted to put it down, and I’m already aching for more, because that’s what Sara Cate does to me。Tropes: secret relationship, lessons, domme/sub, best friend’s son, bdsm, fling to forever。Favorite quote (okay, there are many, but you need to read it yourself and I refuse to spoil it for you!): “She makes it easier to be me。” 。。。more

Mercy is one word that never wanted to say during this book。 Because I did not want it to be over!I was very excited to hear the story of Maggie。 She is super successful and headstrong yet seems timid compared to her Salacious counterparts。 I wanted to know more about her, and what was her kink going to be。 Beau was her perfect match。 Not so much timid, but just as scared to be linked to something he thought was taboo。 Societal norms really did a number on him, and he earns the title of brat。 Wh Mercy is one word that never wanted to say during this book。 Because I did not want it to be over!I was very excited to hear the story of Maggie。 She is super successful and headstrong yet seems timid compared to her Salacious counterparts。 I wanted to know more about her, and what was her kink going to be。 Beau was her perfect match。 Not so much timid, but just as scared to be linked to something he thought was taboo。 Societal norms really did a number on him, and he earns the title of brat。 When they both take the Salacious kink quiz and find out that they might have more fun if they tried new things。 Well, let the experimentation begin!I went in thinking I was going to relate to Maggie so much, her story is going to be so relatable。 And it was! Thank you so much to Sara and her team for the ARC。 The fourth instalment of the Salacious Players Club series follows Maggie, the only female owner of Salacious。 Maggie thinks she is vanilla, plain, and o a bit out of her element compared to her friends。 However, when she takes the kink quiz, she is shocked to discover her results as a Domme/Brat Tamer。 Enter Beau。 If you read Praise, then you certainly know who Beau is and what a brat he is。 A Domme may be just the thing he needs to get himsel Thank you so much to Sara and her team for the ARC。 The fourth instalment of the Salacious Players Club series follows Maggie, the only female owner of Salacious。 Maggie thinks she is vanilla, plain, and o a bit out of her element compared to her friends。 However, when she takes the kink quiz, she is shocked to discover her results as a Domme/Brat Tamer。 Enter Beau。 If you read Praise, then you certainly know who Beau is and what a brat he is。 A Domme may be just the thing he needs to get himself under control 😉This was such a fun and sexy story。 I normally don’t like reading about Domme females and sub males but this story definitely worked for me! I was invested in both of their journeys and enjoyed reading about a more mature woman learning the ropes to her kink。 Beau was also new to his role。 It was refreshing to read a story where both main characters are new to their kink and exploring/learning together。 If you’ve been liking this series already, make sure to read this one! If you haven’t started, I recommend starting with Praise and going through in order。 You won’t regret it! CWs: age gap, Domme/sub, violent situations, taboo (friend’s son), secret relationship 。。。more

Thank you to Sara Cate’s team for the ARC。 Here is my honest review:Domme/SubReverse Age GapBDSM (with wonderful aftercare)I want to preface this by saying that my feelings towards this book is a ME PROBLEM。 This book is about Emerson’s son, Beau and the only female owner of the Salacious Club, Maggie。 A little taboo with an age gap (Beau is about ten years younger than Maggie)。 Maggie does the club’s kink quiz, and it turns out she is a DOMME/brat trainer。 This is not an idea that I would usual Thank you to Sara Cate’s team for the ARC。 Here is my honest review:Domme/SubReverse Age GapBDSM (with wonderful aftercare)I want to preface this by saying that my feelings towards this book is a ME PROBLEM。 This book is about Emerson’s son, Beau and the only female owner of the Salacious Club, Maggie。 A little taboo with an age gap (Beau is about ten years younger than Maggie)。 Maggie does the club’s kink quiz, and it turns out she is a DOMME/brat trainer。 This is not an idea that I would usually find …。 I’m looking for the right word…。 attractive。 It could be that in many of the books I read the man is usually aggressive。 I suppose that’s why I see it as being a masculine trait。 AGAIN, this is a me problem。 However, Sara Cate works her magic and has opened my eyes to the deeper side of this kink。 What lies beyond the sex, the feelings behind it, the motivations (they both some with so much baggage)。 A man can submit to a woman – it doesn’t make him weak。 A man on his knees for you? Really what more could you ask for?Beau’s thoughts: “…how nice would it be to be with a woman who knows what she wants and takes all the guesswork out of it for me? All the black leather and whips aside, it sounds hot。” 。。。more

I received an ARC of this book。 I was really excited to have the chance to read this one before it went to the masses, particularly after Give Me More, my favorite of the SPC series。This book didn't do it for me on the spice, but I believe spice is subjective and everyone enjoys different takes。The story quality, however, was wonderful。 I loved the way Beau changes and grows through his experience with Maggie。 I think there could have been more development with Maggie, and I wish we had gotten m I received an ARC of this book。 I was really excited to have the chance to read this one before it went to the masses, particularly after Give Me More, my favorite of the SPC series。This book didn't do it for me on the spice, but I believe spice is subjective and everyone enjoys different takes。The story quality, however, was wonderful。 I loved the way Beau changes and grows through his experience with Maggie。 I think there could have been more development with Maggie, and I wish we had gotten more of her story。I think this is the end of a series, but I can see opportunities for spinoffs that I would LOVE to devour 。。。more
