This one is my favorite because i love that Raiden was bottom and submisive although he is taller than Titan。 He is also kind， pure heart and naive。

This series is SO GOOD！！ I loved how much Raiden cared for his brothers。 And I live for any scene between Daman and Warrin。 I honestly didn’t care for the romance that much - Titan was fine - but the events of this book once again had me on the edge of my seat （leave Phoenix alone！）。 I definitely didn’t see the reveals coming！Also， I think I am in the minority （or alone）， but I actually don’t want Laz to be Alastirs mate。 He’s awful in every book， not to mention he raised them from boyhood and w This series is SO GOOD！！ I loved how much Raiden cared for his brothers。 And I live for any scene between Daman and Warrin。 I honestly didn’t care for the romance that much - Titan was fine - but the events of this book once again had me on the edge of my seat （leave Phoenix alone！）。 I definitely didn’t see the reveals coming！Also， I think I am in the minority （or alone）， but I actually don’t want Laz to be Alastirs mate。 He’s awful in every book， not to mention he raised them from boyhood and whipped them and he made Castor kill his dad who seemed ok？ Quite honestly， I’m shipping Laz and Penemuel。 Oh and I hope someone takes out Uriel。 That guy sucks。 。。。more

（one time I even scared my family because I burst into laughter and couldn't stop）。 Who can blame me！？ I snorted a laugh。 It was unexpected。 How could someone be so ridiculously hot， adorably innocent， a total badass during fights， and sort of ditsy simultaneously？ A dangerous combination。 That danger being to my damn self-control。 Titan described Raiden so accurately。 All the moments in this book where Rai took care of his brothers。。。 my heart soared， melted， and beat wilder！！！ Honestly， I wasn't so sure whether I would love Rai。 But hell， I had no clue what was coming！ This giant sunbeam stole my heart and wrapped it in a warm blanket， not letting the cold in。 He was like a warm caress in the cold winter。 That was Rai to me， and I love him so much！ 🧡🧡🧡 A god-awful noise woke me。 Like screeching tires。 Or a wounded animal。 Phahaha， this is too precious not to be shared！ Rai， I totally get you！ I sing terribly， but that can't stop me！ 🤣🤣🤣 2。 Titan 💛💛💛I didn't know what to expect from him。 However， I ended up relating to him a bit and understanding him。 I loved how Rai's gentle， positive and warm attitude reached him。 And I loved how Titan loved Rai the way he is。 I loved how protective he was， how he cooked for him， and how he wanted to give him everything。 But above anything else， I loved how Ti showed Rai that he deserves love too。These two were full of sunshine， happiness， and warmth。 Reading their story warmed my heart！ It made me so happy I can't describe it！ 3。 The foodYes， you're seeing this right。 I'm making a particular point about the food！ 🤣🤣🤣I expected a lot of cooking and eating， but hell， I did NOT expect it to be so much！ Like seriously， you can't read this book hungry！ From one side I liked that， from another not so much but that's because of personal reasons。 However， I think all the food was so on point because this is Rai we are talking about， after all。 I loved seeing how happy he was when he cooked and when he ate。Also， seeing Rai and Titan cooking together made me swoon！！！ “I understand that。 It’s relaxing too。 The weight of the world can be on your shoulders， or maybe loneliness is crushing your chest， but being in the kitchen， working with the ingredients and transforming them into something else is therapeutic。” This gave me another perspective on cooking， and I'm thankful for it！ 4。 Phoenix and Bell！！！ 💙🖤I want to scream right now！ I did not expect this， and holy shit， I fucking LOVED Nix and Bell so much here！ These two were EVERYTHING！！！ What I felt like missing in their own book I got it here！ “A villain，” Bellamy said， using his fingers as quotation marks。 He then caressed the collar around Phoenix’s neck。 “You’re nothing but a softie。”“I’ll show you soft。” When Nix was hurt， the way Bell reacted， and his feelings。。。 broke my heart into millions of pieces。 I wish we could have read Phoenix and Bell's point of view。 I wished I could see the tender moments while Nix calmed down Bell that he was okay。 But I can so imagine these moments。 5。 The plot twists:Asa alive？ I knew it！Kalias revived？ That I did not expect！Nix getting kidnapped and almost dying？ MY HEART HURT READING THIS！！！ STILL， IT WAS ONE OF THE BEST SCENES IN THE BOOK！！！ 6。 Daman and Warrin！！！ 💚💙 The power of a fated mate， turning panthers into kittens。 They are still my favorite couple！ Their love can be felt through every word， every touch， every glance！ It's so powerful！！！ 7。 Alastair and Lazarus！！！ 💜🤍I LOVE THESE TWO SO MUCH！！！ I can't describe how much I loved every moment， every glimpse， and every second， we saw them。 “It is we who have changed， brother，” Alastair told him。 “We are not the same boys we once were。 It is unlikely the world is the same either。 However， it matters not。 We have a mission and mustn’t lose focus。” “No，” Alastair answered after a short pause。 “We will not fail。 Our flaws will not hinder us。 We will rise above them。” KING！！！ Alastair said， his gaze on his phone。 Since losing his collection of books when our mansion went up in flames—a devastation he’d tried to hide， but we all felt his depression over it—he’d spent a lot of time on his phone。 In a flash， he’d gone from an old grandpa who sipped tea and read books in his study to a teenager whose nose was buried in a screen。 Al is so PRECIOUS！！！We didn't get as many scenes with them as I expected but I'm okay with that。 Mainly because the scenes we did get were amazing！ And because I didn't want my focus to be on them and not on Rai and Ti。 I can't wait for their book！！！ I need it like I need air！！！ 8。 What I felt while reading this book:This is my favorite book after Daman and Bell's books。 It was so different from the others and yet so amazing！ It felt like a blanket wrapped around me the whole time I was reading！ All the family moments where they sat together and ate。 All the little things Rai did for his family。 Every moment where Rai said something in order to break the tensions。 The look in Rai's brothers' eyes when they looked at him。 The powerful bond between them ALL。 Seeing the family grow even more。 ALL OF THEIR MOMENTS TOGETHER WERE JUST SO PRECIOUS， WORDS CAN'T DESCRIBE IT！ Raiden 🧡I love this series so much and Raiden has been one of my favorites from the beginning。 Raiden and Titan being oblivious and waiting for the other one to make a move kept the anticipation going for a minute。 Jaclyn took the story and swerved it somewhere I totally wasn’t expecting。 The story line just gets better with each book and I’m here for it。 Loved Raiden and Titan getting their HEA and Raiden having someone to put him first。

4。5 / 5: "We're a good team， huh？"Though faint， [Titan] smiled。 "I suppose we are。"i。。。genuinely adore this series so much。 it's basically become a comfort read of mine， and this sixth book just confirmed it for me。 my entire reading experience with raiden's story felt like i was reading about this whole ensemble cast of characters， rather than just strictly a love story between raiden & titan。 because of that， there's a lot of familial moments included in here， a lot of bonding over food， and s 4。5 / 5: "We're a good team， huh？"Though faint， [Titan] smiled。 "I suppose we are。"i。。。genuinely adore this series so much。 it's basically become a comfort read of mine， and this sixth book just confirmed it for me。 my entire reading experience with raiden's story felt like i was reading about this whole ensemble cast of characters， rather than just strictly a love story between raiden & titan。 because of that， there's a lot of familial moments included in here， a lot of bonding over food， and so many sweet declarations。 i went into this book hoping for even the smallest of crumbs about bellamy & phoenix， our main couple in the previous book， and i got much more than i ever even could have hoped for。 there was a lot of emotional damage because of that due to the fact that despite how transitional this story felt， building up to the grand finale that will be alastair's story， the plot & action drove a huge chunk of this book to the point where i was knee-deep into the story。 there's some betrayals， there's heart-wrenching reveals， there's a sinister game at play that leaves all of the nephilim brothers' souls at stake--there's just a lot。 and right in the center of it all， we were witnessing this very endearing romance unfold between two warriors who are absolutely smitten for each other and yet at the beginning， have no clue whatsoever about the feelings lingering between them。 once those feelings are confronted pretty early on， we see raiden & titan grow closer as the stakes of this entire series reach its highest peak。 we see them bond over their shared love of cooking， expressing their love for their loved ones with the best comfort food that only a heart as pure as raiden's could make。 we see them come to terms that even when it feels like their love story is only the beginning of the end， just as titan fears when witnessing how the sun can blink out as darkness soon overtakes the land， this fated mate bond is focused on the present， and in this present， we have two souls who are like complete opposites and yet share the sweetest scenes， and it was endearing as hell。 was it my most favorite romance？ no。 did i find myself more absorbed in what was going on with bellamy & phoenix at various moments throughout this story？ yes。 to be quite honest， it felt like we were investing a lot into what was happening with these other characters， and while to most that might seem like a critique， it's actually pretty interesting because we come to know how much raiden just gives for the sake of giving。 he puts the happiness and care of others far above his own， and he's not sad about it at all。 he's a genuinely very uplifting soul who finds the light in everything that matters to him， and in finding that light， he feeds on it; he feeds on bringing people together and making them feel at home， feel more comfortable with themselves。 because of that， he pays much more attention to his family as he witnesses their highs and lows， and he feels it very deeply。 that's why it felt like this was more of an ensemble story than anything else， because raiden is so considerate of everyone else that the author translated that kind of love into one hell of a plot with so much conflict。 in that mix， there's a lot of moments where raiden is cooking food and helping to ease the tension of everyone by being his amazingly oblivious self with a heart of gold。 he & titan are a well-deserved match， and it was very sweet to witness how titan got to lower his own defenses as someone who put so much effort in protecting those around him that he didn't learn to take care of himself。 having someone like raiden to be the one who takes care of him， who he can be soft with and fight like hell by his side--it was a long time coming and the wait was worth it。 i was very worried about how i might feel for this story because in all that anticipation that i had for this release， the writing at the beginning did feel pretty awkward， a little jilted if i may admit。 my first observation was how it felt like there was more telling than showing， a good bit of the narrative not flowing as smoothly as i would've expected for a series that was already six books in。 i also had the same problem about how raiden was depicted like i did with gray in his story--where with gray， he still reads very much like a little kid， it's almost jarring; but with raiden， he just had a couple moments where i couldn't really take him seriously。 and like。。。maybe that was the point， he's a very good-natured character who's easygoing and makes jokes for the sake of keeping everyone at ease， but for me， some of those jokes or some of the stuff he would say were kind of odd。 it wasn't odd in that he says some mean things， no nothing like that。 it was just some of those things i found more ridiculous than entertaining， so it made the book feel a little awkward in some ways。 in some parts of the book， it does get endearing， which was a funny feeling to wrestle with， because i couldn't predict what jokes would land well and what wouldn't; a character describes raiden to be like some college frat boy， one who just wants everyone to have fun and "chillax"， and that hits very hard on the nose， the cover a huge example because the model is wearing a backwards baseball cap for goodness sake。。。。like only raiden could be the one to bring such a funny vibe and yet make it so sweet。 but i think what ultimately made raiden feel more than just that simple stereotype was how the more i read his story， the more these little odd details that make him who he is shaped up to reveal a character who is the genuine heart of this entire series， and who was the key in doing something pretty major at the end of this book。 it made me tear up at that point because again， this book feels like the bridgeway to the finale， and that's because it is。 but more than that， this book was raiden's story， and raiden cares so much for his family and wants them all to find their utopia beyond this huge war that's brewing now that Lucifer is out of his cage。 every terrible thing that happens in this story， every heartbreaking moment， it's all alleviated by the utter ridiculousness and charm that raiden's character had when the tide eased， and it made me love this story a lot。 it made me feel thankful for the moments where raiden could put his own needs first， finding someone like titan who's been attracted to him for so long and yet always only watched from afar because he didn't think it'd be smart to mingle during a brewing war。 the thing is that this war is already here and it's already cost so many lives of many people， humans & supernatural beings alike; and in all that tragedy & chaos， raiden & titan actually found each other and felt a connection with one another， one that made it difficult to be apart。 when something like that can be so easily taken away， you feel this pressure to fight like hell to keep it close， and they actually get that。 this book was so warm while also staying very tense; again， there was way more bellamy & phoenix content than i could have possibly hoped for， but there's also moments with alastair that i loved， moments with our other couples and between the nephilim brothers that made this story feel like home， which is pretty much a given being that raiden is the one who partly tells it。 titan's pov was interesting， too， gaining a little insight into how his own group of Nephilim warriors in Greece were like--his sort of father-son relationship with this character named nico being soft as hell， and it was nice to get to see a little more of baxter。 i am so thrilled & happy that this story came to me earlier than expected and that around the halfway point， it seriously shined through。 again， the cover is so raiden， all because it exudes such bright light and vivid detail， which made me smile when it was first revealed。 i'm very nervous for what's to come in the finale， but we'll finally be reading through alastair's pov， which should be a huge delight。 i'll be sad seeing this series coming to an end but i just genuinely am glad to get to see it through all these characters。 it's been one hell of a ride， and it'll only hurry on even further， so i can't wait for what comes next。 。。。more

kindest， most purest， gentle and soft， hopelessly and adorably oblivious yet strong and brave and fucking badass。 NO ONE radiates the kind of pure light this beautiful hunk of a man radiates。 That’s all I wanted for my brothers: their happiness。 Our lives had been far from easy。 So many days had been dark。 Devastating。 Painful。 They deserved to have that heaviness lifted。 They deserved to find love and be loved in turn。 When I first read the series， I didn't take much notice of Raiden at first。 All I knew about him was that he had orange wings and had a hell of a stamina and appetite。 My whory muddled brain was too focused on my god tier three。 “See？” Raiden shook his head。 “A nightmare。 Even worse than the time I got excited to make pizza only to realize I didn’t have any cheese。 You
