Summary

A wolf is attacking the humans of Timber Ridge and changing them into werewolves—against their will。

The change process is extremely dangerous and involves bloodshed。 It isn’t something that happens by accident, which can only mean one thing。

Someone is doing this on purpose。

I’m going to find the rampaging sicko responsible for this outbreak, even if it means I have to master my new magic to stop them。

Thankfully, Greyson—the Pack Alpha and the most powerful wolf in the Midwest—is always down for a hunt。 The only problem is that I’m starting to find him attractive—which is the worst thing I could do。 He’s got an incomplete mate bond, and since I’m a hunter, I could never be a wolf’s mate。

That’s okay。 I’m used to being alone。 I'm a werewolf hunter, not part of the Pack。 But that’s an awfully dangerous place to be when there is a rogue wolf on the loose。

United is the second book in the Pack of Dawn and Destiny urban fantasy trilogy, and is part of the Magiford Supernatural City world。 It features werewolves, hunters, and fae, and is filled with humor, adventure, and a sweet romance that will have you laughing out loud。

fantastic!I love the characters and their stubbornness to let things dictate them。 Pip doesn’t let things get her down she keeps looking for the good even when times get rough and when they do she has amazing friends to help support her。

Pomeranian Puppy Power UpI love the interactions between Pip and the pack。 This book develops the story started in the first of the series and ends in a cliff hanger leading into the third。 Such a good story。

another great Pip story! Pip and Greyson are such unique characters。 Pip, especially, with her Pomeranian Puppy Power Ups and her snark and her loyalty and courage。 (Also- there’s no way those cats aren’t supernatural。 Nothing can be naturally that nasty。 Haha)

I absolutely adored this book! K。 M。 Shea is a master at writing sweet clean romances with compelling plots, and characters with true depth。 I am in love with the vast majority of all her stories, and this one did not disappoint! I am, and will likely stay a life long follower of Kitty and her books! ;)

Another great read !I devoured this book in about a day and a half。 Great relationship development between Pip and Greyson, a fun cameo by Lord Linus, and “the plot thickens “ at the end。 I can’t wait for the final book to drop next month!

Love Love LoveK。m。 shea does it again!!!! Such a good tale, the twists and the depth of exploring the feelings the characters have。 The themes of unconditional love of family, blood or by bond and how the characters grow。 Purfection! (Pun intended)

This story was soo good! If you love urban fantasy that is clean language and content wise- this is such a good story。 The sequel to Hunted- KM Shea wrote another great story。 While the story does end at a little bit of a cliff hanger- there is such a satisfying edge to it with everything that happens right before (don't want to give away any spoilers)。 There is so much happening in this story and the world of Magiford- I love seeing the characters from other series within the same world。 This story was soo good! 3。5 stars。I enjoyed this one。 It was action-packed, well paced, with a not so mysterious mystery aspect that was unexpected。 Overall, I like where the romance is going and am looking forward to the final installment。

Changing a human into a wolf is illegal, when it is against their willAnother amazing and exciting story made by K。M。 Shea。 This story had all the favorite characters you saw in the previous story but with more addition to the story。 And had some questions answered about what was left a mystery。Someone is going around changing people into wolves that never asked for it。 In these cases, the people shouldn’t be able to survive。 With the Wolf’s Kiss, it makes it possible though。I couldn’t stop read Changing a human into a wolf is illegal, when it is against their willAnother amazing and exciting story made by K。M。 Shea。 This story had all the favorite characters you saw in the previous story but with more addition to the story。 And had some questions answered about what was left a mystery。Someone is going around changing people into wolves that never asked for it。 In these cases, the people shouldn’t be able to survive。 With the Wolf’s Kiss, it makes it possible though。I couldn’t stop reading this story when I got it。 Like every K。M。 Shea book (read them all because she’s an amazing author) I had to find out what happens next。 And the story didn’t disappoint。 With the ending leaving off on another strong cliffhanger, I can’t wait till the next book comes out! This review has been hidden because it contains spoilers。 To view it, click here。 While the first book in the series started out slow, this book was definitely an improvement as K。M。 Shea amped up the tension--both in the primary plot, and the romantic subplot。I have to admit, I expected the story to end somewhat similarly to the previous Magiford books, in which the main characters get together, but the guy does something dumb and overprotective which breaks them up。 We didn't quite get that, so I was happy。As someone who's not a huge fan of suspense, I had a bit of a creepi While the first book in the series started out slow, this book was definitely an improvement as K。M。 Shea amped up the tension--both in the primary plot, and the romantic subplot。I have to admit, I expected the story to end somewhat similarly to the previous Magiford books, in which the main characters get together, but the guy does something dumb and overprotective which breaks them up。 We didn't quite get that, so I was happy。As someone who's not a huge fan of suspense, I had a bit of a creeping dread about the unexpected turnings, even though the victims were clearly sign posted。 I was glad that Shea didn't shy away from Teresa's transformation, or the heartache of Jack's transformation against his will。Loved the sweet moments between Greyson and Pip, but I'm kind of anxious for that to get sorted and for them to start working together。 I think we've already seen a sneak peak of how Shea plans to resolve the mate bond issue in this book。If you enjoyed her other urban fantasy series, you will enjoy this book。 。。。more

Great as always。 The only problem with this book is having to stop reading when you finish。 I love all of this author’s books! Sad I have to wait for the next book in the series。

As expected, this one fills in where the first one left me wanting a bit。 There are a few more typos than usual for this author, but they did not reach the point of pulling me out of the story too much, so keeping it at 5 stars。 I can't wait for the third book! Another winner!K。 M。 Shea delivers every time。 I swear, her books are just getting better。 I actually had to pace and distract myself so I didn’t consume this book all in one go。As I always do, I adore the main character’s spirit, the plot, and the world she lives in。 The book wraps up in a satisfactory way, but there is definitely a cliffhanger too。 February can’t come soon enough!

❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️K。 M。 Shea is a dream yet again! I love all of her books。 And I love that we returned to the Magiford world again! So excited to have the third book the end of February。

Strong is the denial of K。M。 Shea characters。 Denial of being leaders。 Denial of being in love。 Denial of having friends。 I think that these Magiford books are great。 They're cute and have some interesting world-building, but I'm a little tired of denial。This book is another solid addition to the world。 All around enjoyable with some tee-hee moments when Pip and Greyson get flirty。The villain is。。。 huh。。。 um。。。 okay。。。 maybe there should have been more set up, because halfway through, I went "oh Strong is the denial of K。M。 Shea characters。 Denial of being leaders。 Denial of being in love。 Denial of having friends。 I think that these Magiford books are great。 They're cute and have some interesting world-building, but I'm a little tired of denial。This book is another solid addition to the world。 All around enjoyable with some tee-hee moments when Pip and Greyson get flirty。The villain is。。。 huh。。。 um。。。 okay。。。 maybe there should have been more set up, because halfway through, I went "oh shit, I know who it has to be。" And it was not that person even though things end up awfully conveniently for that person。 I thought it was going to be (view spoiler)[Aeric because Shania's health is mentioned multiple times。 There's this whole scene with Aeric being super overprotective with her。 Pip even gets worried。 And then Aeric is absent for a lot of the book。 Date night with Shania had me very suspicious。 I know this isn't a lot of evidence, but Aeric being the villain made a lot of sense to me。Throughout the book, the villain seems to be testing who exactly can be successfully turned with Pip's powers, leading me to believe that the villain was building up to turn someone who everyone thought could not be turned。 Like Shania。 It's been repeatedly said that it would be impossible for Shania to be turned。 Then the villain turns out to be Aspen, whose motivations are vague until the end of the book。 Psh, yeah right。 It felt like K。M。 Shea backed of making a likeable character the villain。Aeric had real motivation to do what the villain did in this book。 He had Shania。As readers, we know next to nothing about Aspen and this book doesn't introduce much more about her。 Suddenly, she's a psychopath。 Suddenly, she doesn't care about Rio even though they've been dating。。。 It's a little too convenient if you ask me。 Mystery villain, enter stage left。 Great, it's someone Pip knows just enough to pull at her poor little heart。 But not someone she's too buddy buddy with, because, well, that would just be too much。If the villain had been Aeric? Well shit。 That would have made all you little babies cry, wouldn't it? So nice for him that he ended up with everything he ever wanted without having to become a villain。 So nice。。。 (hide spoiler)] 。。。more

Fun sugar cookie of a book with lots of fluff for a cold winter day。 KM Shea creates an interesting world and creative dialogue, though the characters seem more 2D than 3D。

First off, let me start by saying I was so stuck on Hunted I actually felt in a book slump。 I had to tone down my reading and go watch some Cdramas to pass time until the release of this one。 And let me tell you it didn't disappoint me at all。This book has almost no fat in it。 Compared to the previous installment I actually saw that everything mattered。 The things that did not have any impact in this book will very probably have one in the next。The romance got me near to the point of combustion First off, let me start by saying I was so stuck on Hunted I actually felt in a book slump。 I had to tone down my reading and go watch some Cdramas to pass time until the release of this one。 And let me tell you it didn't disappoint me at all。This book has almost no fat in it。 Compared to the previous installment I actually saw that everything mattered。 The things that did not have any impact in this book will very probably have one in the next。The romance got me near to the point of combustion。 While, to my disappointment, we had less long winded scenes between Pip and Greyson, the few we had。。。。 I loved。 I really like how she's handling her romance here, but I wished Greyson just admitted he loves her。 Alas。。。 I shall wait to the next one for that。 A somewhat predictable outcome with some surprises。 (view spoiler)[Even though I realized that Aspen was the big baddie of this book (Rio was too in the nose), I did not expect some of the development of the story。 And I think It did not take away the enjoyment I had with it, because It was not about who was doing it but the consequences to those left behind with a forceful change。 (hide spoiler)]At this point, if Shea sticks the landing, this trilogy has the potential to be the best one of this universe yet。 。。。more
