incredibleAnother incredible entry to the unbound series。 I thoroughly enjoyed it and wasn’t even bothered too much by its length。 Sure i was compelled to skim some of the detail。 But really it was nonstop action and development。 Can’t wait for the next one。

Rating 4。0 stars This series has finally found its rhythm。 Early on there was way too much fighting with insane odds。 Things have settled down a little。 Felix is powerful enough now that there are some fights that are easier for him and some that are harder。 There is more of a balance。 The characters are well written， and the magic system is impressive。 There are also some surprises thrown in at the end。 Overall， I am enjoying the series more now than before。

Outstanding sequelI am impatient for more。 This writer has only improved as the story continues as he fine tunes what is disclosed while keeping the action flowing。 The length is great as well and I am attached to the characters。

I didn't think that a nearly 1k-page 8th book in a series would be able to hold my attention， yet it did。 This is a huge story， with many moving parts and at least two worlds involved。 The level of Felix's enemies has risen nearly past his ability to prevail against the massive forces involved， and this keeps his rapid advancement from moving into OP territory。 He has the basis of being able to fight the gods toe-to-toe， and either he achieves that or this story ends， so I guess I know where thi I didn't think that a nearly 1k-page 8th book in a series would be able to hold my attention， yet it did。 This is a huge story， with many moving parts and at least two worlds involved。 The level of Felix's enemies has risen nearly past his ability to prevail against the massive forces involved， and this keeps his rapid advancement from moving into OP territory。 He has the basis of being able to fight the gods toe-to-toe， and either he achieves that or this story ends， so I guess I know where this is going。 Seeing it get there continues to be fun， so hopefully book 9 keeps the momentum of this one。 。。。more

Best of the seriesAfter a good but flawed seventh book， this one is a refreshing change of pace。 A few plot points were set up in advance and pay off nicely， the fight scenes were engaging， and there were relatively few grammatical mistakes。 Eagerly looking forward to the next one。

Alright， I liked this one quite a bit。As others have mentioned the books are starting to have a pattern。 This particular book could be Unbound: Side Quests。 At this point in a series it just makes me feel the author is padding things， doesn't want to finish， doesn't know how to finish or doesn't know where the story is going。（view spoiler）[Wow that gnome is an asshole。 And the enemy unbound being related was unnecessary。 Also good news that the relationship actually moves forward an inch。 （hide Alright， I liked this one quite a bit。As others have mentioned the books are starting to have a pattern。 This particular book could be Unbound: Side Quests。 At this point in a series it just makes me feel the author is padding things， doesn't want to finish， doesn't know how to finish or doesn't know where the story is going。（view spoiler）[Wow that gnome is an asshole。 And the enemy unbound being related was unnecessary。 Also good news that the relationship actually moves forward an inch。 （hide spoiler）]The author has an infuriating habit of offsetting chapters by half。 Where the last half of a chapter and the first half of the next chapter were actually one chapter。 Annoying AF。 I think this book improved over previous ones but I don't feel like going back to verify it until another volume comes out on audiobook。 。。。more
