This was not as good as the previous books in the series。 Still read it but not as drawn in。
Heather,
Hush, Hush was my favourite novel so far in the Detective Harriet Blue series。 Now that Reagan Banks is dead, the authors were able to steer Harriet in a different direction which I thoroughly enjoyed and I thought the secondary characters played better roles than they have in previous books。 I adore Pops! It was also lovely seeing poor Tox with a love interest at last。 I hope it develops in the future。I seriously like Harriet and she often had me smiling in this novel。 She has grit, courage, pe Hush, Hush was my favourite novel so far in the Detective Harriet Blue series。 Now that Reagan Banks is dead, the authors were able to steer Harriet in a different direction which I thoroughly enjoyed and I thought the secondary characters played better roles than they have in previous books。 I adore Pops! Cheryl,
Great Book。This was just as good as 1, 2, and 3。 I really enjoyed it。 The storyline was very good。 The characters were entertaining。 I recommend it for everyone。 Joping there is a Book 5。
Jennifer,
3。5 stars。 I've read/listened to all the other books in the Harriet Blue series, but this one had a hard time holding my interest。 There were a few parts that were just a little far fetched。 Hopefully this is the last in the series since all of these cops are too bad to be the good guys。。。 not a good image for police right now。 3。5 stars。 I've read/listened to all the other books in the Harriet Blue series, but this one had a hard time holding my interest。 There were a few parts that were just a little far fetched。 Hopefully this is the last in the series since all of these cops are too bad to be the good guys。。。 not a good image for police right now。 。。。more
Nancy,
James Patterson books are usually so good, but I found this one slow and quite boring。 I almost quit reading and kept thinking it would get more exciting, but to me it didn’t

Sue Gerlach,
Being a great fan of James Patterson I must say I’m not impressed with the Harriet Blue series。 This is the second novel I tried and I have a difficult time relating to the characters and their various roles。
Neko Gawr,
4。5/5 Another amazing james patterson harriet blue novel, I like how it started then it turned from a revenge to an actual crime novel。 Definitely recommend and cant wait for the next one
Clipsy,
Harriet Blue is my favourite James Patterson character。 This novel is full of action, twists and turns and does not disappoint
Wanda,
WowThis Harriet Blue series is outstanding! She has this smart ass mouth and is hilarious, plus she is a tough woman who has been through hell and back。 A definite must read。
MadamSarcastra,
My first introduction to Harry, Tox, & Whitt。。。 and I LOVE these characters! A darkly funny, marvelously damaged band of misfits。。。。
Lindsay,
James Patterson’s Kiss The Girls was the book that got me into thrillers years ago。 I still read a few of his books every year。 I liked the female main character, Harry, and would read more in this Candace Fox series just to get to know her better。 There are still parts of this book that are outrageous and wound never happen in real life but that’s what books are about - escaping real life :)4/5
Yuritzia Martinez,
Honestly I thought this book was sooo good! Being able to still see the difference between the two cases was great and the story was well written!! I didn’t mix up when the character view point was changing and I would not want to put the book down! absolutely loved it!!
Kristie Zoe,
I feel the ending was rushed and they had way more book space to play that out。 Regardless enjoyed the book ! Surprised this is Book #4 and I can't wait to read the first 3! Mary Cushnie-Mansour,
"Hush" by James Patterson and Candice Fox was an interesting read for me。 Unfortunately, I feel I may have to go back and read some of the prequels to this novel so I can understand the dynamics of Detective Harriet Blue's life。I felt, that despite being let out of prison to find the commissioner's daughter and grandchild, I didn't have enough background on Harriet to know why she was the only one who could accomplish this task。 Also, Harriet actually spent more time trying to solve a crime that "Hush" by James Patterson and Candice Fox was an interesting read for me。 Unfortunately, I feel I may have to go back and read some of the prequels to this novel so I can understand the dynamics of Detective Harriet Blue's life。I felt, that despite being let out of prison to find the commissioner's daughter and grandchild, I didn't have enough background on Harriet to know why she was the only one who could accomplish this task。 Also, Harriet actually spent more time trying to solve a crime that had happened in the prison than she did working on the commissioner's case。 Her partners, Tox and Whitt, did more to solve that crime。It will be interesting to see where the authors take this series, although, I might just have to order the prequels to fully understand the Harriet Blue dynamics! Well worth the read, though。 。。。more

Peggy,
Not as good as other Patterson books
Barbara Gard,
fast paced
Glenn A。 Taylor,
Engaging book。 Lots of short chapters and jumping around, and maybe a few too many plot twists for my taste。 Still a fun, quick read。

Brian Tooley,
Well, what do I say。 There was so many storylines in this book that it was like reading within a pinball machine。 You were bumped around so many different directions。
Jess,
This review has been hidden because it contains spoilers。 To view it, click here。 The first half of the book is pretty slow but the end is really intense and is worth the read。
Amy,
Another great book in this series。 I hope that there are more of them。
Lynn Ph。D。,
I have been reading so many books I have lost track of which characters belong to which series so I was kind of surprised when I opened this one that and found Harriet Blue。 Then I got more excited about reading it :) I guess that's what happens when we're in a pandemic and I am reading most anything that I can find that is available in e-book form from my library。I'm not sure how I feel about all the characters - this is the fourth book I think and I have issues with some of their behaviors - a I have been reading so many books I have lost track of which characters belong to which series so I was kind of surprised when I opened this one that and found Harriet Blue。 Then I got more excited about reading it :) I guess that's what happens when we're in a pandemic and I am reading most anything that I can find that is available in e-book form from my library。I'm not sure how I feel about all the characters - this is the fourth book I think and I have issues with some of their behaviors - and then I tell myself it's a book, it's make-believe, I don't have to get hung up about my issues。 There are other books that I read and sometimes enjoy that have far worse things that bother me。 That said it was a mix of different plots but that happens in a lot of policing novels because police don't just usually do one case at a time。 I'll have to try to remember to watch for the next in the series。 。。。more

Another great Patterson book。
Elizabeth Severson,
Paperback, read it on the plane。 Easy, quick read。 Not really suspenseful, but kept my interest。 A few funny parts in a book always earns it an extra star。 This had a few in there。

Jennifer Butala,
Harriet Blue was sprung from prison to help find the police commissioner's daughter and granddaughter, while trying to find out who attacked her former cellmate and killed the prison doctor。 I felt like it started a little slow but once it picked up i became caught up in the action。 I happen to like Harriet and hope there are more books in this series。 Harriet Blue was sprung from prison to help find the police commissioner's daughter and granddaughter, while trying to find out who attacked her former cellmate and killed the prison doctor。 I felt like it started a little slow but once it picked up i became caught up in the action。 I happen to like Harriet and hope there are more books in this series。 。。。more
