IdkI don't buy the Jessica angle at all。 And I wasn't terrible surprised by the WHAT A TWIST in this one either, but like the other one 。。。 I'll never read this again, but I'll read the next one and see what else is mildly entertaining while I wait for Christmas festivities。 IdkI don't buy the Jessica angle at all。 And I wasn't terrible surprised by the WHAT A TWIST in this one either, but like the other one 。。。 I'll never read this again, but I'll read the next one and see what else is mildly entertaining while I wait for Christmas festivities。 。。。more
Ray Cerrone,
Book 2 does not disappointThis is the second book in a Ford book series by Jeffery Deaver。 Like all of his other books, the story is tantalizing in the details are amazing。 I’m looking forward to books 3 and four。 And anything he writes after that!
Bill Hooten,
Well, I actually liked Book 2 better than Book 1。 The action was good, and the characters were very intriguing。 I would like to know if Deaver has any more material on Constant Marlow, because I think she would be a character that would be interesting follow。 Still -- so far, maybe a little better。
Bill Sheehan,
A dose of DeaverGood thriller。 Action packed。 Credible female badass。 Great character description and fighting skills。 Deaver at his best best best best
Kieran McAndrew,
A US Deputy Marshall goes rogue to find the man who killed her friend。Deaver's second story in his 'The Broken Doll' narrative builds suspense and helps readers identify with the avenging angel who is bent on destroying her foe。 A US Deputy Marshall goes rogue to find the man who killed her friend。Deaver's second story in his 'The Broken Doll' narrative builds suspense and helps readers identify with the avenging angel who is bent on destroying her foe。 。。。more
Alan,
Excellent! Also, extra points for ingenuity and creativity。
Ron Willoughby,
Quite enjoyable。 Great suspense。 Intense。 I love the whole concept of these little books。 I probably prefer they were all one book so as to not skew my reading challenge, but otherwise, this was excellent。
Elizabeth Buitron,
Intense A story that has its own feet to stand on, strong female leads, dead on the mark for describing the physical element of engagement。 Enjoyed immensely
Darcy,
In this one things weren't quite what they seemed at first too。 I have to say that by the end I didn't mind the moves that Constant made, nor the help she got at the end。 In this one things weren't quite what they seemed at first too。 I have to say that by the end I didn't mind the moves that Constant made, nor the help she got at the end。 。。。more
