While the message is powerful， at times the book was just repetitive and some of the lessons not very new or groundbreaking。 Nonetheless， I can see the need for emotions such as these to be said ‘out loud’ and I’m grateful that she does not shy away from them

Because this is independently published and I’ve been following the author on social media for so long， I’m hesitant to leave a negative review。 Nevertheless， here we go。 The idea of this book is good。 The writing style is easily digestible， and the topic is relatable to a large audience。 However， it felt super repetitive and unfinished。 There were obvious typos throughout （ex: “to” on pg 211， “you” on pg 255）， and there were many poems with extremely similar concepts。 I don’t need 2 poems with Because this is independently published and I’ve been following the author on social media for so long， I’m hesitant to leave a negative review。 Nevertheless， here we go。 The idea of this book is good。 The writing style is easily digestible， and the topic is relatable to a large audience。 However， it felt super repetitive and unfinished。 There were obvious typos throughout （ex: “to” on pg 211， “you” on pg 255）， and there were many poems with extremely similar concepts。 I don’t need 2 poems with the exact same structure making the exact same comparison between people and seasons。 This didn’t feel like a deliberate creative choice， just lazy writing。 Many of the word choices felt immature or elementary， and would make the whole poem feel hollow。 “candles candles candlesyou always loved candleslately all i can think aboutare all the things you loveand how i'm not one of them” 。。。more
