Summary

An alpha torn apart, his heart stitched back together by the gentle hands of one sweet doctor’s assistant…

Dante Reid has never fit in with his pack of feral, dangerous alphas。 He hates his own nature, and his monster of a father makes him question his very DNA。 When the Reids leave him bleeding out at the edge of Grove pack lands, it’s their sweater-wearing leader who saves Dante’s life, but in the bright eyes of Doctor Grove’s assistant, Skye, he sees hope for his future, and a place he wishes he could belong。

For all his life, Skye Johnson has been treated like he’s made of china。 As the only omega in the Grove pack with a chronic case of the mysterious Condition, his pack is fiercely protective of him。 When a strange new alpha arrives in the clinic, the pack circles to keep him safe, but Skye can see more in Dante Reid than his name。 And for once, it seems like an alpha might see Skye clearly too, for all that he has to offer and not for his chronic illness。

The condition has already torn apart Skye and Dante’s childhoods, but now the source of that threat rears its head, and wants to take what little they have left。 Can they stop the Sterling Corporation and its master before it’s too late?

Cold Moon is a hurt-comfort werewolfy romance with one sad packless alpha searching for himself and a place to belong, one sick omega who’s even more sick of being underestimated, and all the breakfast sandwiches two wolves can eat, even if they are (blech) healthy, in a non-mpreg ABO world。

Skye and Dante’s story was everything I wanted it to be and so much more。 These two were so sweet together and their bond shined through the pages。 Dante needed someone to look past his Reid name and see the real him。 Skye saw Dante for the sweet, caring and protective person he was。 Fantastic story - well worth the wait!

SmittenI am smitten。 Smitten with this series, this pack and of course Skye and Dante。 They’re a swoony treat and one taste wasn’t enough。 “You’re a good person, and that’s a choice you make every day。 That’s what defines us。 Not the things we’re stuck with。” I loved how these two came together, how they saw each other as so much more than what they’ve overcome or lived through。 They’re each other’s safe place and it made me sigh with happiness to see them shine, learn how valued they are, and f SmittenI am smitten。 Smitten with this series, this pack and of course Skye and Dante。 They’re a swoony treat and one taste wasn’t enough。 “You’re a good person, and that’s a choice you make every day。 That’s what defines us。 Not the things we’re stuck with。” I loved how these two came together, how they saw each other as so much more than what they’ve overcome or lived through。 They’re each other’s safe place and it made me sigh with happiness to see them shine, learn how valued they are, and find their home together。 As if Dante and Skye’s love wasn’t enough, we also get the amazing culmination of our mystery。 I’m thrilled with how everything was revealed, the evilness of the villainy, the heart-pounding action and of course the ever-present, heartwarming pack bonds and family that make this series so wonderfully incredible。 。。。more

What a cute love story with hints of redemption throughout。 Dante despite being a hero in my eyes was treated unfairly and I was shaking my head at the town, Skye tries so hard to be independent and manage his condition but I was furious with his mother for being so callous and making it all about her。 I love how generous and helpful the majority of the town were but hold onto your hat when the big reveal comes out of left field because it was shocking, heart breaking and explains so much。 I enj What a cute love story with hints of redemption throughout。 Dante despite being a hero in my eyes was treated unfairly and I was shaking my head at the town, Skye tries so hard to be independent and manage his condition but I was furious with his mother for being so callous and making it all about her。 I love how generous and helpful the majority of the town were but hold onto your hat when the big reveal comes out of left field because it was shocking, heart breaking and explains so much。 I enjoy sinking my teeth into something emotional but also have a great storyline which is what we have here。 Intriguing and well written, I look forward to the next book。 。。。more

“I just don’t want to hurt you。” Without thinking, even noticing, I’d closed the distance between us。 My palm cupped his cheek, and his flushed lips fell open on a breathy laugh。 “You won’t。” He made it sound so simple, but when I frowned, he shook his head。 “You overthink everything, Dante。 It’s sweet。 And I guess I don’t mean you’ll never hurt me, but I do know that you wouldn’t do it on purpose。 Little hurts—the kind I’ll always be able to forgive。” I’m really liking the turn this series i “I just don’t want to hurt you。” Without thinking, even noticing, I’d closed the distance between us。 My palm cupped his cheek, and his flushed lips fell open on a breathy laugh。 “You won’t。” He made it sound so simple, but when I frowned, he shook his head。 “You overthink everything, Dante。 It’s sweet。 And I guess I don’t mean you’ll never hurt me, but I do know that you wouldn’t do it on purpose。 Little hurts—the kind I’ll always be able to forgive。” I’m really liking the turn this series is taking。 The balance of romance and action。 All the new discoveries about the Condition each installment brings。 And after reading that the next book, Strawberry moon, is going to be enemies-to-lovers my excitement level couldn't be higher。 I can’t wait to have it in my hands。 Since Black Moon I’ve been wondering if Dante was going to have his own book。 His appearance was brief but unforgettable。 What I didn’t know for sure was who could be the mate suitable for him。 But after reading this installment, I couldn't have thought of someone better for Dante than Skye。 They just complimented each other so perfectly。 We already knew that Dante’s father wasn't the best wolf, well, his entire pack actually。 But discovering Skye’s mother's behavior towards him was shocking, undermining his self-esteem just for selfish reasons。 It’s remarkable they end up being the cutest with those examples in their lives growing up。 And I’m glad this plot wasn't overused, and the story was focused on their relationship and overcoming their insecurities together。 The son of the enemy。 An over sheltered omega。 The sweetest of the slow burns。 Can’t wait for the next book of this wonderful series! *Disclaimer: I received an ARC of this book in exchange for a free and honest review* 。。。more

If you're in the market for a book with two MCs who just absolutely deserve the happiest HEA, then look no further than this book! I've been interested in Skye since the first book, as one of the few omegas living with the Condition, and dealing with it every day, he was an intriguing character from the start。 Add in the fact that he's small, adorable, and just a big sweetheart and I was smitten from the first page。 So him being paired up with a Reid was a surprise, but it made sense once we got If you're in the market for a book with two MCs who just absolutely deserve the happiest HEA, then look no further than this book! We've already learned the who at this point, but the why was not at all what I expected while still absolutely making sense! There's a couple moments of suspense and tension, and just loved the way it was handled with both of our MCs realizing how much they are truly capable of, especially now that they have each other。 It also perfectly teed up the next book in the series with someone I've definitely been dying for to have a story, and new character who is incredibly interesting。 。。。more

I love the progress they are making with The Condition, a mystery illness affecting wolves。 It's been a slow and steady process from book to book 。。。 much like it would happen in real life。 It's showing how each person brings their own knowledge and skill set to the table, and working together will get them the answers they need。 The pack Alpha is getting more comfortable in the role, but won't ever be the "my way or the highway" type, which I greatly appreciate。 And OMG, did it end with a bang。 I love the progress they are making with The Condition, a mystery illness affecting wolves。 It's been a slow and steady process from book to book 。。。 much like it would happen in real life。 It's showing how each person brings their own knowledge and skill set to the table, and working together will get them the answers they need。 The pack Alpha is getting more comfortable in the role, but won't ever be the "my way or the highway" type, which I greatly appreciate。 And OMG, did it end with a bang。 We now know, without a doubt, what's up with the mysterious illness plaguing werewolves for decades。 There is still some science to work out now that they have the new facts, but wow 。。。 just wow! And of course it would be Skye 。。。 sweet Skye who only wants to help everyone he meets 。。。 who is the one to prove what they thought was only an urban legend。 He's tougher than anyone ever gave him credit for。As for the romance, Skye and Dante have led complete opposite lives 。。。 one loved almost too much and the other dangerously neglected。 Both need others to see them for themselves 。。。 not Skye's illness or Dante's murderous family。 I really liked how their romance was handled。 The omega biology has been touched on in each book, and I figured it would come up in this book too, but the authors took great care to consider the adjustments Skye and Dante would need。 It was sweet and thoughtful 。。。 and perfectly suited for them。 。。。more

This series is definitely one of my favourites from Sam and Waverly。 It has everything I enjoy in a paranormal romance - good world building, interesting characters and a strong plot which threads it all together。This book focuses on Linden's young assistant at the client, Skye, who is an omega who has had The Condition since birth and has been very poorly all his fairly young life。 As a result, the pack tends to still baby him and treat him like he's made of glass。Except for Dante Reid, alpha s This series is definitely one of my favourites from Sam and Waverly。 It has everything I enjoy in a paranormal romance - good world building, interesting characters and a strong plot which threads it all together。This book focuses on Linden's young assistant at the client, Skye, who is an omega who has had The Condition since birth and has been very poorly all his fairly young life。 As a result, the pack tends to still baby him and treat him like he's made of glass。Except for Dante Reid, alpha son of the hated Reid pack who kidnapped Brook but a completely different type than his insane father。 Dante is the one who helped Brook escape, he's gentle, out of place in his own pack and afraid he'll not be left alone by those in the Grove pack who don't think he should still be alive。This is a slow burn romance, which absolutely makes sense。 Dante is almost dead when we first meet him, Linden saving his life, and he carries a weight of guilt on his shoulders。What I loved best about this book is that both Skye and Dante bring out the best side of each other, they make choices which empower their own sense of self and are the support of the other is what makes them stronger。I will also say, Sam and Waverly threw in a plot element I never saw coming and which left me jaw a-dropping and then, when I thought I might have an idea about where they were going with it, they did another out of left field switcheroo which, now I think about it, actually makes perfect sense and has me dying for book five!Things also move along with the investigation into The Condition and we finally get more of a hint as to the sinister reasons behind it。i still have many questions though and I definitely also need Rowan and Cliff to get their happy ending, plus I'm also intrigued by Dr Lawrence, who we meet in this book and I want more of Nick's story (Aspen's Navy SEAL buddy) so hurry up you two!#ARC kindly received from the authors in return for an honest and unbiased review 。。。more

Big revaluations but nothing is truly fixed, still lots to resolve。 OK。。。 so。。。 Archer and Ford next book let's go!ARC from author for an honest review。 。。。more
