This is the third book in the Hearts Cove Hotties series。 This book could be read and enjoyed as a standalone but it is connected to the first two books so you will run in to characters from the previous books， Candice is friends with Fiona （book 1） and Simone （book 2）。 I recommend the first two books because they were very good books。 This series is about life， friendship， family and starting over again。 They'll make you laugh and cry， very entertaining。 I especially love the friendship of Hear This is the third book in the Hearts Cove Hotties series。 This book could be read and enjoyed as a standalone but it is connected to the first two books so you will run in to characters from the previous books， Candice is friends with Fiona （book 1） and Simone （book 2）。 I recommend the first two books because they were very good books。 This series is about life， friendship， family and starting over again。 They'll make you laugh and cry， very entertaining。 I especially love the friendship of Hearts Coves midlife ladies and the quirkiness of some of the people in town。 The female characters in this series are in their mid 40's and starting over again， definitely relatable stories。 I love them。 Thanks for giving me a book series I needed and didn't even know I needed it。 Candice's husband passed away three years ago from cancer。 She's convinced she doesn't need anyone again but her body has different thoughts when Blake comes to town。 Blake has shied away from relationship most of his life jumping from one fling to the next until he meets Candice。 Will the both be brave enough to give love and a relationship a chance？I received a copy of this book in exchange for my honest review。 。。。more

So worth the wait By book 3 I can usually see where this is going but this series is so good and the characters are hilarious。 I love Dorothy especially but Blakes mum is close 2nd。 Have to wait for book 4 now。 Love how all the characters are very present in each book。

My first read by Lilian Monroe。 I picked it up because I found the small-town setting and both main characters being over 40 intriguing。 The romance between Blake and Candice was nice and sweet， but there were a few things that irked me the wrong way， like the coincidences in the beginning that made the story sounds cliché or Candice's constant guilt about moving on， even though her husband died three years ago， or the fact that there were so many side characters。 We didn't have just Blake's and My first read by Lilian Monroe。 I picked it up because I found the small-town setting and both main characters being over 40 intriguing。 The romance between Blake and Candice was nice and sweet， but there were a few things that irked me the wrong way， like the coincidences in the beginning that made the story sounds cliché or Candice's constant guilt about moving on， even though her husband died three years ago， or the fact that there were so many side characters。 We didn't have just Blake's and Candice's POV， but the POV of their many friends too， who as I assume have their own books in the series （I haven't read the previous books）。 But I just didn't care about them。。。 who I cared about were the main characters and it was a little bit confusing to have so many stories starting / continuing in one book， considering that this should be a standalone。 。。。more

This is a wonderful mature love story filled with great characters， some quirky， all likable and engaging。 The main characters have been drifting through life without thinking much about what they could have， more focused on what they did have。 When the H and h meet and kiss， sparks fly， drama and lust ensue until it morphs into something more。 I loved this idyllic small town and its inhabitants。 I voluntarily read an ARC and this is my honest review。
