Summary

In the middle of the night he took me。
Dangerous and wild, I only know him as Soren。
My captor, my tormentor。
He forces me to walk miles on end and refuses to tell me why。
All he does is stare … And it sets my body on fire。
He’s a muscular giant with raw, unbridled needs。
If I run, he’ll catch me。
If I fight, he’ll pin me down。
And worst of all … I’m beginning to like it。
But what I fear the most is that he lives for it。
Everyone knows a beast can’t be chained。
One way or another … his darkest needs will always come out to play。

This is April and Soren's story。These two meet, if that's what you want to call it, when April not only got taken but then sent to him as further punishment?!I have to say I enjoyed the story even tho it was a bit on the slow side for me。。April needs to learn to survive in this nightmare and Soren needs to resist the temptation that is April。。In this story we get to see why Soren is the way he is。。and he finds his own home in April。。Overall, I enjoyed the story and really liked the characters This is April and Soren's story。These two meet, if that's what you want to call it, when April not only got taken but then sent to him as further punishment?!I have to say I enjoyed the story even tho it was a bit on the slow side for me。。April needs to learn to survive in this nightmare and Soren needs to resist the temptation that is April。。In this story we get to see why Soren is the way he is。。and he finds his own home in April。。Overall, I enjoyed the story and really liked the characters 。。。more

By all rights, I should've loved this book。 But something fell short for me and I just can't pinpoint it。 I did enjoy it and it managed to keep my attention (something that is completely fleeting right now)。I loved the idea of messed up cults and being captive (its fiction don't judge me, okay) so I thought this would be super awesome。 And in parts, it was hot and kinda cute。 I mean Sorens this big strong torture machine, but he is also so incredibly naive when it comes to anything besides tortu By all rights, I should've loved this book。 But something fell short for me and I just can't pinpoint it。 I did enjoy it and it managed to keep my attention (something that is completely fleeting right now)。I loved the idea of messed up cults and being captive (its fiction don't judge me, okay) so I thought this would be super awesome。 And in parts, it was hot and kinda cute。 I mean Sorens this big strong torture machine, but he is also so incredibly naive when it comes to anything besides torture。 But that's the way he was raised so I didn't expect much but still, I was so shocked he didn't know what some things were。 Also, his metal was really surprising to me。April, she might be the perfect dub con voice。 We see the things happening and we hear what's going on in her head and I mean we also have logic。 There's a lot of things here that didn't add up for me。 Just the little details that fell through the crack about this world。 About April before the cult, and after to be honest。 Those things really stuck with me and when I'm reading for pleasure the holes bother me。 Oh, I also understand this is part of a series but I didn't know that going in and I didn't feel like I was missing much it was easy to read as a standalone。 。。。more

Wow, I love Clarissa and her dark mind。 This is book 3 of the House of Sin and OMG what a great book。 This is Soren and April's story and what a story it was。 An emotional rollercoaster that will keep you going until the end。 You would never think Soren has a heart but with April it's different。 I love these 2 and recommend all 3 books。 A must read。 Wow, I love Clarissa and her dark mind。 This is book 3 of the House of Sin and OMG what a great book。 This is Soren and April's story and what a story it was。 An emotional rollercoaster that will keep you going until the end。 You would never think Soren has a heart but with April it's different。 I love these 2 and recommend all 3 books。 A must read。 。。。more

This is a quick read, but ties into a series that flow flawlessly together。 Would recommend reading everything together so there are no holes or gaps in the story。 Love this book from April and Soren’s point of view。 Twisted and dark!

April was kidnapped from a gathering of the family at a venue。 Which was the Holy Land which of course was a cult。 To be kidnapped again for another cult or so she thinks to be taken to the house of sin。 April asks herself what has she done to deserve this。 Soren believes that he knows nothing else put pain and sinners must pay for there sins until April bring light into his darkness。 I enjoyed reading this book。 I loved the storyline and plot。 I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout April was kidnapped from a gathering of the family at a venue。 Which was the Holy Land which of course was a cult。 To be kidnapped again for another cult or so she thinks to be taken to the house of sin。 April asks herself what has she done to deserve this。 Soren believes that he knows nothing else put pain and sinners must pay for there sins until April bring light into his darkness。 I enjoyed reading this book。 I loved the storyline and plot。 I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and I am voluntarily leaving a review。 。。。more

I couldn't wait to read this book when I found out it was Soren's story who if you've read the other 2 book's in the House of Sin's duet he's a complicated compassionate man and he's April's tormentor who's a smart sexy strong woman。 They share a connection。 I love the fact that she doesn't take his crap lol。 That's all I'm saying I don't want to give thing's away you'll just have to read it and find out。 This was well worth the wait。 Definitely would recommend。 I couldn't wait to read this book when I found out it was Soren's story who if you've read the other 2 book's in the House of Sin's duet he's a complicated compassionate man and he's April's tormentor who's a smart sexy strong woman。 They share a connection。 I love the fact that she doesn't take his crap lol。 That's all I'm saying I don't want to give thing's away you'll just have to read it and find out。 This was well worth the wait。 Definitely would recommend。 。。。more

This book is standalone, but ABSOLUTELY MUST to read the previous books from the series/universe, for there are lots of holes you will see İF not。 Now, this is my first read from the author。 Thats why i read the review first before i jump in this book。 And got to say, lts not as dark as i tought it would be from all those reviews。 There are few dark moments, ofcourse。 And i love them。 The one where Soren took her when his "chastity belt" off。 The one where he slaughter those guys in the car。 And This book is standalone, but ABSOLUTELY MUST to read the previous books from the series/universe, for there are lots of holes you will see İF not。 Now, this is my first read from the author。 Thats why i read the review first before i jump in this book。 And got to say, lts not as dark as i tought it would be from all those reviews。 There are few dark moments, ofcourse。 And i love them。 The one where Soren took her when his "chastity belt" off。 The one where he slaughter those guys in the car。 And the final scene in his home cult。 But mostly this book is more like Soren and April finally finding their way toward each other。 I admit skipping quite few pages。 I just dont feel connection to their chemistry。 I like the steamy scenes。 İts brutal, rough, animalistic and raw。 Overall, its a good read。 Grey-ish to dark romance。I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review。 。。。more

I really enjoyed Dark Need。 This is Soren's & April's story。 Soren is a punisher at House of Sin where people are sent instead of jail to redeem themselves。 Soren & April meet & they have such a connection。 April can look past what Soren does at House of Pain。 They are both good for each other。 I love the way that Clarissa Wild told their story。 This is one of my favorite series & this book topped it off。 I really enjoyed Dark Need。 This is Soren's & April's story。 Soren is a punisher at House of Sin where people are sent instead of jail to redeem themselves。 Soren & April meet & they have such a connection。 April can look past what Soren does at House of Pain。 They are both good for each other。 I love the way that Clarissa Wild told their story。 This is one of my favorite series & this book topped it off。 。。。more

That is how I felt during the time that I read this story。 Now don’t get me wrong…。 Sometimes it was in a GOOD kind of “dirty”, but then there were other times that you were just like OMG… What did he just do?Soren is from a different world。 Well, not really, but he was raised in a “cult” environment, and that was all he has ever known his entire life。 He was raised to protect his “people” and his job is to do what his “people” need him to do。 Once his job is complete, he can live his chosen life that has been planned for him, and that is all he has ever known, and everything was going as planned until he met April。 April was someone who chose to go into the cult。 She didn’t know it was going to be what it was, but after she found her fiancé in bed with another woman, and they were supposed to be saving themselves for marriage, she decided there had to be more out there, and she went looking for it。 She ended up captured, but she was rebellious and didn’t want to conform to the “rules” of the cult, so they were going to send her away, and that was Soren’s job, to travel with her to send her away to another “cult”。 That was when the fun begins… “I wanted him when I knew I shouldn’t when I knew it was wrong。 And I did it anyway because I didn’t want him to suffer…because I made him suffer。” April was starting to have feeling for her capture, and she knew it was wrong。 Soren had always liked April。 He would watch her from a distance in the “cult”, but never acted on them。 “I’m not a lover, I’m a fighter。 Someone who hurts。 Who tortures。 No on loves me。 I was born to kill。” This gets intense, and you wonder, what is right and what is wrong… But in the end… it is OH SO RIGHT! There was probably more “angst” in this story than I normally enjoy, but it was really, really good。 。。。more

Dark Need is dark, intense, and so deliciously twisted。 Once again Clarissa Wild did not disappoint with Soren and April's captivating story。 Soren's job is a punisher and he doesn't have any feelings for what he puts people through。 Then he met April and his life takes an unexpected turn。 Dark Need contains triggers so if you trigger easily this might not be for you。 But if you are like me and like to read dark romance with great storylines then this book is for you。 I definitely recommend this Dark Need is dark, intense, and so deliciously twisted。 Once again Clarissa Wild did not disappoint with Soren and April's captivating story。 Soren's job is a punisher and he doesn't have any feelings for what he puts people through。 Then he met April and his life takes an unexpected turn。 Dark Need contains triggers so if you trigger easily this might not be for you。 But if you are like me and like to read dark romance with great storylines then this book is for you。 I definitely recommend this book and this series to those who like to take a dip in the forbidden dark side。 Even if you don't, try it, you might realize that you like it。 I voluntarily reviewed a copy of this book。 。。。more

WOWSA!!!Dark Need is the third book in the House of Sin series and is the story of April and Soren。 This story is dark, twisted and utterly fabulous。 It may not be a story for everyone, as there are possible triggers and you know what to expect with a Clarissa Wild book。 But if you pick this final book up of the series then you will not be able to put it down。

Really enjoyed Soren intrigued me in the House of Sin duet so I was excited for his book。 This takes a deeper dive into the cults connected to The House of Sin which has a major creep factor。 April really grows through this book and realizes both of them are victims。 I love these two together and really enjoyed their story。

I'm a dark & twisty type of girl in my everyday life so I do tend to love some dark romance, and I've read a lot of Clarissa Wild's books。 My point is while this story is a tad less dark than normal, it's still very dark so please pay attention to the warnings because nothing is worse than readers ignoring said warnings & end up giving the book a bad review (man that really sets me off)。 Anyway, let me get on with it。 Soren has taken April, but for reasons we don't know about for a cool minute s I'm a dark & twisty type of girl in my everyday life so I do tend to love some dark romance, and I've read a lot of Clarissa Wild's books。 My point is while this story is a tad less dark than normal, it's still very dark so please pay attention to the warnings because nothing is worse than readers ignoring said warnings & end up giving the book a bad review (man that really sets me off)。 Anyway, let me get on with it。 Soren has taken April, but for reasons we don't know about for a cool minute so yeah, the twists will be coming in hot。 Is he a friend or foe at the end of the day, and I say this because April has already been through a lot so it's totally a legitimate question at the end of the day。 Clarissa Wild weaves together a tale in the dark world of cults (WARNING) as she takes us between past & present seamlessly so we get the backstory as well。 I honestly don't want to get into any more detail because I don't want to ruin the shock value for anyone else so if this is something you think you can handle (I know there are more dark & twisty peeps out there), please hit those one click buttons! HIGHLY HIGHLY HIGHLY RECOMMEND! 。。。more

Dark Need is a dark & twisted captive romance。 A journey together through wilderness binds April and Soren and while they startedoff as enemies, slowly but surely they becomes so much more as the tension between them thickens, despite their lack of trust and along they way they discover both themselves and the other person。 This was a story about honor and forgiveness。 The story was intense, gritty, emotional, dark and challenging and I would highly recommend it to dark romance lovers。
