It had some really good moments， but the majority fell flat for me。 I did however like how the author added an extended scene between Mercy and Gideon。 Usually the tech geeks in RH romances get little attention。

This woman has done it again！ I can’t believe it along with Harlow they have made this book into a whirlwind of action， mystery and heapings of steam。 The characters grow more in this book and give you a deeper level of interest and love especially when it comes to Gideon who holy hell I adore！ You finally know a few of the answers of Rowan but still enough questions to want you knowing more dangit！ That’s just what makes these books so special。 The plot overall is epic， thankfully the book star This woman has done it again！ I can’t believe it along with Harlow they have made this book into a whirlwind of action， mystery and heapings of steam。 The characters grow more in this book and give you a deeper level of interest and love especially when it comes to Gideon who holy hell I adore！ You finally know a few of the answers of Rowan but still enough questions to want you knowing more dangit！ That’s just what makes these books so special。 The plot overall is epic， thankfully the book starts as we were left from that evil cliffhanger last time so we get some relief there。 😉Don’t be fooled though this is an Eva Chase book after all you are left with an even bigger cliffhanger at the end of this book and omg can I not wait for the next book after this one now！ The book keeps you going throughout and on the edge with the twists and turns on this crazy rollercoaster I absolutely loved every minute！ 。。。more

Wow what a great second book！ It’s a fast paced and action packed read as we continue with Mercy and the guys journey full of danger， surprises and twists and turns and a whole lotta steam！ It’s one hell of a rollercoaster of emotions and darkness and once drawn in you will not want to leave！ There’s fantastic chemistry between the characters， the storyline is dark ， gritty and so addictive and I loved it！

These authors are the only one that could get away with leaving me a cliffhanger like that！ I freaking love Mercy as she takes no crap and refuses to back down even though the guys are fighting their affection。 I love the push and pull especially with Ezra trying to assert his dominance。 I can’t wait to see what happens next for Mercy and her men。

I enjoyed reading this。 I wish there was more to it it seems like this was just a way to extend the series a bit。 There were some scenes that I enjoyed but overall this book seemed like a lot of extra material to set the scene for the next book （books？）。 Overall I liked it though and I’m excited to see where it goes。

The second book of Crooked Paradise is here and does it deliver！ There is so much action， mystery， and some stream to keep you highly entertained and not want to put the book down。Mercy is back and fiercer than ever。 She is showing the guys and now daddy Noble that she can handle whatever is thrown at her。 Even in tough situations， she is quick on her feet and clever enough to work her way out without needing help。 I love that she never backs down。 She has her goal and will do whatever it takes The second book of Crooked Paradise is here and does it deliver！ There is so much action， mystery， and some stream to keep you highly entertained and not want to put the book down。Mercy is back and fiercer than ever。 She is showing the guys and now daddy Noble that she can handle whatever is thrown at her。 Even in tough situations， she is quick on her feet and clever enough to work her way out without needing help。 I love that she never backs down。 She has her goal and will do whatever it takes to achieve it。 She isn’t scared to hold her ground with the guys either。 She will tell them how she feels and fights to prove she is as tough as them。 One of my favorite things was Mercy’s new friendship with Anthea。 I’m glad they have each other and they both have another female to help with all the testosterone in the house。I’m so happy we learned more about Gideon in this book。 He was my favorite last book and this just made him confirm his spot at the top。 He had such a rough childhood but he found his family with Wylder and the other guys。 We also learn why Rowan left。 It definitely changed my feelings for him， but I still think he and Mercy need time to repair what was broken。 Kaige wasn’t in the book as much as the others but since he was the main one in book one I didn’t mind。 He still had his moments and I like that he is the first to admit how he feels about Mercy and owned up and apologized to her for his earlier behavior。 Wylder was hot and cold for me once again。 I went from liking him， to being annoyed with him， but in the end， I understood why he was acting like he was and he got on my good list。 Mercy and the guys are still on the mission to take out Colt and the Steel Knights and it’s proving more difficult than they thought。 There is also a new person they are up against now though。 Ezra Noble is back and taking over the household and operations。 He isn’t a fan of Mercy and makes it pretty well known。 We get to see his and Wylder’s relationship and hear about things he’s done in the past。 Mercy’s stalker is back and leaving her not-so-pleasant gifts。 We are left with a huge cliffhanger at the end。 I’m hoping we get more sweet and steamy moments with Mercy and her men。 Also want to know who this stalker is and how he knows Mercy。 Looking forward to book 3！！ 。。。more
