It’s not even a guilty pleasure at this point。 It’s a full-blown addiction。 I read these types of books a lot， and I know what to expect。 Character development and basic knowledge of consent isn’t usually the。。。。 most important thing？ But oh my goddddd。 This book。 LoP made it pretty hard to see redeeming qualities in these characters， but Ms。 Lawson and Ms。 Rue pretty much achieved the impossible here。 I’m obsessed。 I’m in love。 I might have stockholM syndrome。 100000000/5❤️❤️❤️

The second book， Lords of Wraith， in the Royals of Forsyth Series is next level amazing。 Heed the trigger warnings for this book。 It’s not for the faint hearted and I definitely had a few WTF！ moments。 But I just couldn’t stop reading。 I was ensnared in a twisted， dark and messed up world。 We get taken deeper into the dark side， that is the gritty underbelly of the Southside and the person who rules over it。 We see all the characters push boundaries， making you wonder if they have any limits。 Fi The second book， Lords of Wraith， in the Royals of Forsyth Series is next level amazing。 Heed the trigger warnings for this book。 It’s not for the faint hearted and I definitely had a few WTF！ moments。 But I just couldn’t stop reading。 I was ensnared in a twisted， dark and messed up world。 We get taken deeper into the dark side， that is the gritty underbelly of the Southside and the person who rules over it。 We see all the characters push boundaries， making you wonder if they have any limits。 Finally our MC finds her lady balls and starts dishing out about bit of her own punishments。 I was equally appalled by their behaviour as I was drawn to them。 Another great read from Angel Lawson and Samantha Rue and I can’t wait to see where the story goes next。 。。。more

Omg I thought Lords of Pain was on the darker side but oh boy was this book even darker which I absolutely loved。 Make sure you pay attention to the trigger warning before you jump in because there is some seriously messed up stuff in this book。The Lords are back at it again and this time they are more brutal than before。 I have to admit I absolutely love Dimitri， Tristan and Killian so much。 I love their darkness， twisted personalities and those rare moments when their softer sides are shown。 I Omg I thought Lords of Pain was on the darker side but oh boy was this book even darker which I absolutely loved。 Make sure you pay attention to the trigger warning before you jump in because there is some seriously messed up stuff in this book。The Lords are back at it again and this time they are more brutal than before。 I have to admit I absolutely love Dimitri， Tristan and Killian so much。 I love their darkness， twisted personalities and those rare moments when their softer sides are shown。 I love learning more about Dimitri because I absolutely love and adore him。It was great to see Story sticking up for herself a lot more and I love how she has learned to play their game。 There was one thing that she did in this book as a form of revenge that I didn’t really like because I felt like it was a really low blow。 I know the guys have used and humiliated her but she signed up for it so I didn’t like what she did。Omg the twists and turns throughout this book totally blew my mind especially the identity of Ted。Lords of Wrath totally destroyed me in the best possible way and I cannot wait until the next book。I recieved an advanced copy for free， and this is my honest opinion。 。。。more

Wow， what can I say。 Book one blew me away， this is even better。 This book grabbed hold and kept me hostage until I finished the last word on the last page。 This book moves along at a pace which makes for a great read as it wasnt too slow or too fast。 The characters are amazing and you cant get enough of them。 This is a must read book that has to be on your TBR list immediately。 You will not be sorry that you did。

Lords of Wrath is book two in the Lords of Forsyth series and I feel like I’ve been waiting so long for this book！That anticipation， well sometimes the next book doesn’t live up。 You almost hyped it up too much in your head。 That was absolutely NOT the case here！ Angel and Samantha gave me everything I didn’t know I needed in this book and more。 It was AWESOME！！The first page is full of warnings。 I don’t say that lightly … it’s an ENTIRE page of warnings。 But I’m never one to shy from the darkne Lords of Wrath is book two in the Lords of Forsyth series and I feel like I’ve been waiting so long for this book！That anticipation， well sometimes the next book doesn’t live up。 You almost hyped it up too much in your head。 That was absolutely NOT the case here！ Angel and Samantha gave me everything I didn’t know I needed in this book and more。 It was AWESOME！！The first page is full of warnings。 I don’t say that lightly … it’s an ENTIRE page of warnings。 But I’m never one to shy from the darkness 😈 it certainly had its moments and I started to question how book two was any different … well just wait until chapter 23！！Story really shines in this book and we truly get to see how calculating she can be。 Given the darker side of her Lords - Killian， Tristan， and Rath - we finally see Story step up and grow to be their equal。 She’s just not sure she actually wants that。 Both sides delivered some serious blows， but they aren’t the real enemy， are they？The infamous Ted 。。 some answers and a thousand more questions。 I have my theories …As for the steam … god， it’s so hot。 ALL of it， even though some of it probably shouldn’t be 🤷🏻♀️ Seriously， that scene in the home theater was so damn hot！！And while there were some battles won is the book， the real war is coming。 And I can’t wait to see how it all plays out - bring on Mercy！As a side note， just sayin 。。。 but after the Lords wrap， can we move on to the Princes？ Cause their traditions have me intrigued！ 。。。more

I have been waiting for this book since I finished Lords of Pain， and when they said it was darker than the first， I was ready to dive in right then。 Heed the trigger warnings on this book。 They are not for the faint of heart。 When I say these triggers have nothing on Lords of Pain， I mean it。 Things escalate in this book， secrets and lies are exposed and more curveballs are thrown at you。 Story continues to grow and becomes stronger with everything that happens to her。 She is playing both sides I have been waiting for this book since I finished Lords of Pain， and when they said it was darker than the first， I was ready to dive in right then。 Heed the trigger warnings on this book。 They are not for the faint of heart。 When I say these triggers have nothing on Lords of Pain， I mean it。 Things escalate in this book， secrets and lies are exposed and more curveballs are thrown at you。 Story continues to grow and becomes stronger with everything that happens to her。 She is playing both sides， but then it comes down to what or who does she want and need。 The guys， Killian， Rath and Tristan， are still alphaholes and still try to put Story in her place， but she is defiant。There are so many unanswered questions and I need answers。 This series is phenomenal and even though the guys are complete jerks the majority of the time， I love them so much。 I cannot wait to see how this ends in Lords of Mercy。 。。。more

Darkly delectable， truly spectacular Book 2 far exceeded the expectations that book 1 set the stage for。 From seeking protection to exacting retribution， Story assumes her role as Lady with the threats of the secret stalker following her。 Romantic suspense coupled enchanting writing， I was captivated by this story。 A medium burn， I entered an augmented reality， reading rich yet succinct text depicting the events unfolding and written with an excellent balance of prose to dialogue。 So skillful we Darkly delectable， truly spectacular Book 2 far exceeded the expectations that book 1 set the stage for。 From seeking protection to exacting retribution， Story assumes her role as Lady with the threats of the secret stalker following her。 Romantic suspense coupled enchanting writing， I was captivated by this story。 A medium burn， I entered an augmented reality， reading rich yet succinct text depicting the events unfolding and written with an excellent balance of prose to dialogue。 So skillful were the authors' ability to paint a picture in my mind， I experienced the scene as a silent spectator， participating in the adventures and feeling the emotions。 The story reads very smoothly and eloquently， and the pace was excellent。 And from time to time， particularly with Rath and Ms。 Crane， the house caretaker， their trademark sardonic humor created hilarious moments; dark chuckles abounded。Still loving the antiheroes -- Killian， Tristian， Rath/Dimitris， as well as the side characters who contributed to dynamics， intrigue， and mystery in the story。 Also， particularly amazing was the clear distinction of all personalities， each character cleverly and uniquely portrayed so well as be able to read the chapters blindly yet knowing whose point of view is represented。 Character development was well crafted that chapter headings were not necessary。 Sexual tensions ran high， combustible chemistry， each antihero dictating his personal brand of kink -- Killian， taboo， broody， control; Tristian， exhibitionism caregiver; and Rath， skillful split of goodness and darkness。 The book was so steamy it was smoldering。。。and darkly delectable。 As for darkness， this story leaves nothing on the table。 It is dark just the way I like it — delicious dubious consent， kink， power exchanges， and possession。 Buckle up！A dark， reverse-harem romance with a stalker that's anyone's guess， Lords of Wrath is simply one of the best stories I've read this year， rivaling the first。 Fire， blood， target practice， and high-speed car rides， I am captivated。 Book 3 can't arrive soon enough。 。。。more

I'M BACK TO REVIEWING！！！ This is the biggest break I've taken from book reviewing since I first set up my blog three years ago。 I've had exams， which is super weird to think about， because the pandemic means I haven't even had to sit any exams that counted for anything since 2018。 Crazy that my entire degree came down in the end to four papers。。。Anyway， I've officially finished finals now and I graduate from uni next month。 Nothing to do until then but catch up on the TON of books I've left I'M BACK TO REVIEWING！！！ This is the biggest break I've taken from book reviewing since I first set up my blog three years ago。 I've had exams， which is super weird to think about， because the pandemic means I haven't even had to sit any exams that counted for anything since 2018。 Crazy that my entire degree came down in the end to four papers。。。Anyway， I've officially finished finals now and I graduate from uni next month。 Nothing to do until then but catch up on the TON of books I've left unreviewed whilst I revised。 What better book to start with than Lords of Wrath， which I've been DYING for ever since I read book one。 I was a bit nervous to start with， because my expectations were so high from Lords of Pain。 I'm pleased to announce that LoW is even better。 Here's why:✔️ It's a good length。 144，000 words - which is long， and at times the book feels like it moves slowly， but I enjoyed being with the characters so much that I didn't mind。 I had my penultimate exam the day I received the ARC， and I still managed to finish this book in one day！✔️ The characters are getting even more complex and interesting - Story in particular。 I thought the authors were great at conveying how conflicted she feels about the heroes， and （this is super rare for me） I felt like all her decisions and responses were relatable。 We also get deeper into the psyches of Killian， Tristian and particularly Rath， though not as much as we do for Story。 ✔️ I am most thrilled about the fact that any element of the book which threatened to become irritating was pulled back before it reached that point。 What I mean is - it's dark， but not so dark I doubted the heroes' feelings。 （Admittedly I can take a lot of darkness。。。） Story was vengeful， but not so vengeful that I lost patience with her。 Then again， she also wasn't so forgiving that she turned into a saint。 There are secrets and miscommunications in the book， but they aren't allowed to linger for so long that I get frustrated。 Not everyone will say this， I'm sure， but to me everything struck the perfect balance。✔️ I like Story's vengefulness and manipulativeness。 It's not always effectively channelled， at least against Tristian and Killian， but what she does to Rath feels like real revenge with long-term repercussions。 ✔️ I love the ending。 I was worried it would end with a cliffhanger， or them separated， but neither of those things occur。 I really like the place and mood we leave the characters in。 I also can't wait to learn more about the other frats - the Princes in particular sound fascinating。 Obviously， you can tell I enjoyed this book because I gave it 5 stars， but there's no such thing as perfection really。 So I will also say that:❌ Story was honestly pretty terrible at coming up with a revenge that couldn't be traced back to her。 I felt like there was a lot more she could have done to cover her tracks， because it was laughably easy for the heroes to expose her。 ❌ The thriller element is not very well integrated into the book。 It's absent for most of the story， apart from small communications from Ted， and then suddenly gets ratcheted up right near the end。 ❌ There was less focus on the concept of a Game - whether it's the one Story discovered her boys playing， using her for points， or the one between all the frats - than I thought there would be。 It may be that this is all coming in book 3， but we still don't know about how the points system works。 Or like， are there other LDZ members trying to win the Game the way KTR did last year？ Etc。 In general， I would have liked to see the university setting - other students， frats， and so on - exploited a bit more rather than leaving it largely as window dressing。 On the whole， though， I'm really glad that the story enthralled me as much as book one did。 Now to review the other 23570138 books waiting for me。。。Warning: there's more violence directed at Story by the heroes than there was in book one， but I was personally alright with it。 I've found that I can't tolerate heroes who smack the heroine around for the hell of it - this happened once in an Anne Stuart book and it INFURIATED me - but here there was more of a sexual/vengeful inflection。 Overall， this is definitely not the darkest book I've ever read。 。。。more
