This was AWFUL！I don't know why I bought this book。 Harper is awful & she gets worse with each book。 I haven't read anything with Ofelia & Sully because they are basically the same as the other characters in these books cause other than the Hannah Hickok series - they are all pretty much identical。 Hannah is still in the beginning so maybe it's just not so obvious yet but at least Hannah considers other people which Harper does not。 Harper。 Is。 The。 Worst。 She talks about teamwork but it's only This was AWFUL！I don't know why I bought this book。 Harper is awful & she gets worse with each book。 I haven't read anything with Ofelia & Sully because they are basically the same as the other characters in these books cause other than the Hannah Hickok series - they are all pretty much identical。 Hannah is still in the beginning so maybe it's just not so obvious yet but at least Hannah considers other people which Harper does not。 Harper。 Is。 The。 Worst。 She talks about teamwork but it's only a team if it benefits her。 She is a horrible y inconsiderate person。 Instead if ever considering she was wrong for what she did she openly manipulates it so Jared becomes the bad guy。 The writer actually outs that in there - instead of admitting Jared was right to be upset she goes with whatever option to down him。 Harper only ever considers herself。 She never thinks about anyone else's feelings。 She faces down on of these shadow monsters in this book & never even picks up the phone to call her husband。 Never even crosses her mind to be considerate enough to say "Jared， this happened but I'm okay" then used manipulation to turn it on him for being upset。 Then is horrible to him cause she was the star of the night。 She's selfish。 The next day， she ditches the group & does she even consider a heads up to her husband。 Nope， cause that would have had Harper acknowledge that another person's feelings are important。 Actually， it's beyond feelings。 She's have to acknoythat there is someone else in her universe cause she literally only thinks if herself。 Then she lies & manipulates Jared & he's so worried about her being mad at him that he can't rightfully be angry at her for her thoughtlessness & for how inconsiderate she is when it comes to it not being about her。 He fumbles all over her when she should be the sorry one & if he's even the littlest bit still upset after she manipulates him into thinking he's wrong she pouts & gets her way。 Just once， I would like to see her get a comeuppance for her actions when she blatents disregards his feelings about anything。 She talks about she can take care of herself when 18 or so books before this have proven that she really can't。 She gets herself in mess after mess that he needs to save her from but she acts like she has never needed him to save her when her stupidity gets into a mess time after time again。 Jared says she's the smartest person he knows like 3 times every book but is she really though？！ If she is， then he knows some really stupid idiots。 Harper is manipulative， childish， inconsiderate， thoughtless， & just a bad partner。 I guess she's lucky she's so beautiful & that seems to make up for the awful person she is cause I can't see her treating her husband like that making a lasting relationship。 I think after this book， I am done with Hannah cause she just gets worse & I had to refrain from throwing my kindle across the room while reading this cause I hate her now。 I liked her in the beginning & maybe this is a sign that the writer needs to hand up this series cause she's destroyed this character by making her just the worst。 。。。more

Harper is in New Orleans and gets to meet Ophelia。Harper， Jared， Zander and Shaun are in New Orleans attending a ghost hunters convention they’ve waited years for。 Jared and Shaun have accompanied them to make a holiday of it。 The only problem Harper and Zander are already bored silly and it’s only day one of the convention。 While looking around the town the foursome come across a situation， they see a giant shadow with glowing red eyes bearing down on a young woman。 Harper reacts quickly and ma Harper is in New Orleans and gets to meet Ophelia。Harper， Jared， Zander and Shaun are in New Orleans attending a ghost hunters convention they’ve waited years for。 Jared and Shaun have accompanied them to make a holiday of it。 The only problem Harper and Zander are already bored silly and it’s only day one of the convention。 While looking around the town the foursome come across a situation， they see a giant shadow with glowing red eyes bearing down on a young woman。 Harper reacts quickly and manages to rescue the woman。 The police attend and it’s our own Detective Sully along with his girlfriend Ophelia Archer。 Ophelia and Harper are drawn to each other， they each sense the magic binding them， thus begins the adventure。 Ophelia is intrigued by Harper and vice versa， so is happy to spend time getting to know the group。 She develops a soft spot for Zander especially。 Both women enjoy the chance to spend some serious girl time， it’s the beginning of a beautiful friendship。 。。。more

Two favorite worlds collide！ How fun was this？ Ofelia and Sully quickly became favorites to me and when you add Harper，Jared and Zander， it’s a perfect and entertaining story。 If you like even just one of the series， you’ll love this book。

Love crossovers！Ophelia and Harper are amazing alone but together they are unstoppable。 The plot and subplots move quickly， making it hard to put the book down。 A really fun read。 I can’t wait for the next book！
