This is a sweet little story that my 6 year old loved。 Great choice for kiddos who have a fondness for construction vehicles。 Reminded us of Stinky and Dirty。

This story of a front loader and snow plow/dump truck is another story of friendship and working together to keep the roads safe。 Children, especially those who love trucks will surely gravitate to this story and want it read it repeatedly。

Such an exciting and colorful children's book by Lindsay Ward! I've shared reading it with a couple of under 8 children and they've all enjoyed it。 There is interest for both the very young as well as the older child because the story has more advanced situations。Thank you to Goodreads for the book contest that allowed me to receive this title。 Such an exciting and colorful children's book by Lindsay Ward! This is a cute story told in rhymes, and the illustrations are wonderful。 I could really feel the winter storms! My little grandson (who just experienced his first snowstorms in San Antonio last week) would love this book。 He's a typical three-year-old who loves tractors, buses, and all types of vehicles。 This is a cute story told in rhymes, and the illustrations are wonderful。 I could really feel the winter storms! Great Kids StoryThis is a great little kid story。 I read it to my newborn in the hospital for the first time and it's a great little story of helping your friends even when you feel that it will test your limits。 Great Kids StoryThis is a great little kid story。 I read it to my newborn in the hospital for the first time and it's a great little story of helping your friends even when you feel that it will test your limits。 。。。more

ReviewMy daughter and I Love love loved this story We were engaged the whole time I was sad, worried, then excited!! Great read!!

MehThe rhyming is too forced, content isn’t very interesting and all of the illustrations pretty much look the same。 Boring for me and my 3-yo。

Michele

What child doesn’t love anything to do with heavy equipment?! Lindsay Ward created a fun book for the little ones。 Great rhyming, which makes it fun to read out loud。 The overall theme of friendship, working together, and the “you got this” attitude makes this a worthy book for all。

Connie

I received a copy of this book and was excited to share it with my grandchildren。 They really enjoyed it and the illustrations are adorable!

It took a while for me to get interested in the story, but about halfway or 2/3rds through it hits its stride and gets really cute。

Winter's here and that means lots of snow。 Good thing best friends Scooper and Dumper are on the job: "Clear the road,/ Salt the street,/ Work together,/ Can't be beat!" Yellow Scooper uses her front loader to scoop up lots of salt and fill up blue Dumper's bed with it。 Then while Scooper stays where she is to load more trucks with salt, Dumper travels along the roads, using his front plow to clear the snow in front of home and then salting the roads behind him from his back bed to help keep the Winter's here and that means lots of snow。 Good thing best friends Scooper and Dumper are on the job: "Clear the road,/ Salt the street,/ Work together,/ Can't be beat!" It stars trucks, their favorite kind of vehicles, it's loaded with excitement and nail-biting action, and it is about how two best friends can be there for each other。The story is told in four short stanza rhymes using an ABCB rhyme scheme which basically works all the way through the end of the book。 The repetition of "Clear the road,/ Salt the street,/ Work together,/ Can't be beat!" emphasizes the idea of courage, friendship and working together to accomplish a goal。 And no doubt, your young readers will be chanting these four lines before you know it。Whether your town is blanketed in snow and waiting for your scooper and dumper to clear the roads or not, this is a book that is sure to be a kid-pleaser。This book is recommended for readers age 4+This book was gratefully received from Barbara Fisch at BlueSlipMedia 。。。more

Goodreads GiveawayA wonderful children's book to teach kids that you can do anything especially when you work together。 Loved the simplicity of the pictures as well as that Scooper was a "she。" A wonderful way to teach young children that you can play with whatever toys you want to play with, that you are not confined to the toys of your gender as society expects you to。 Goodreads GiveawayA wonderful children's book to teach kids that you can do anything especially when you work together。 Loved the simplicity of the pictures as well as that Scooper was a "she。" A wonderful way to teach young children that you can play with whatever toys you want to play with, that you are not confined to the toys of your gender as society expects you to。 。。。more
