Guys like Grey in books annoy me a little bit。。。 The whole "I'm such a horrible person， I'm not good enough for her， she's too good for me， etc。" bugs me。 But it still makes for a good story。 And Laura Pavlov has definitely made another great， sweet romance in Tangled。 The enemies-to-lovers， or rather irritating-older-brothers-best-friend to-lovers sweep was very well done。 The older brother wanting to kill best friend for being with his sister was perfect。 I actually recently read another book Guys like Grey in books annoy me a little bit。。。 The whole "I'm such a horrible person， I'm not good enough for her， she's too good for me， etc。" bugs me。 But it still makes for a good story。 And Laura Pavlov has definitely made another great， sweet romance in Tangled。 The enemies-to-lovers， or rather irritating-older-brothers-best-friend to-lovers sweep was very well done。 The older brother wanting to kill best friend for being with his sister was perfect。 I actually recently read another book （The Duke and I） that had this same element， and I think I actually preferred the Tangled scenes better。 Grey and Gigi are awesome together， once they get over their crap。 I love the slight element of suspense and danger， not overwhelming， but adds just enough twist so it's not just another straight up fluff romance。 So glad to have the opportunity to read an early copy of this book！！ 。。。more

Brothers best friend is absolutely one of my favorites， but what's even better is when the best friend and the sister have relationship it isn't just some little kid sister that has just lived in the shadows。 Unless of course the friendship is new-ish。But Cade and Gigi along with their parents have included Gray in their lives as long as Gigi can remember。 And since Gray and Gigi are at school together and Cade is a couple hours away he has tasked his best friend with keeping an eye on his littl Brothers best friend is absolutely one of my favorites， but what's even better is when the best friend and the sister have relationship it isn't just some little kid sister that has just lived in the shadows。 Unless of course the friendship is new-ish。But Cade and Gigi along with their parents have included Gray in their lives as long as Gigi can remember。 And since Gray and Gigi are at school together and Cade is a couple hours away he has tasked his best friend with keeping an eye on his little sister。Gray takes this job almost to seriously。 As much as Gigi minds it's hard to ignore how much she also doesn't mind。 But really it's just a crush what more could it be。 Gray on the other hand he's just got allot on his mind and pushing Gigi's buttons has always gotten his blood pumping。 Granted this is excessive but with his Dad causing all kinds of trouble his mom cowering to his step and lets not even get started on Simon。 Well burying their works for awhile and leads to some great laughs。 Especially this little gem from Gigi's new friend Leo after his first meeting with Gray。“Girlfriend， you are not family with that boy。 Unless we’re talking all sorts of inbreeding and backwoods inappropriateness。 He just eye-fucked you right in front of me。”Alright that's enough from me！ There is so much more to this story。 The friendships are the best， the loyalty， the secondary characters， the lead up to what's to come。 I definitely recommend this book！I have voluntarily left this review。 。。。more

This is the 2nd book in this awesome series and is Gray and Gigi’s story。 Gray is the best friend of Gigi’s brother， and she has had a huge crush on him for years， and when they end up at the same college， Gigi is strong willed and is determined to go after what she wants， even though he has her firmly under his overprotective wing， and he does not want to ruin his friendship with her brother。 This is a slow burn and these two challenges each other throughout。 This is a well written story which This is the 2nd book in this awesome series and is Gray and Gigi’s story。 Gray is the best friend of Gigi’s brother， and she has had a huge crush on him for years， and when they end up at the same college， Gigi is strong willed and is determined to go after what she wants， even though he has her firmly under his overprotective wing， and he does not want to ruin his friendship with her brother。 This is a slow burn and these two challenges each other throughout。 This is a well written story which is heartwarming， emotional， endearing， fun， and with family， friendships， witty banter， humor， and is an entertaining and addictive page turner。 I look forward to reading more from this talented author whose work I highly recommend。 。。。more

Tangled is book #2 in the Willow Springs series。 I had not read book #1 but was able to follow along just fine， it just made me want to go back to read the first book。 Who doesn’t love an angsty brother’s best friend story。 The writing was excellent and definitely full of angst。 Gigi and Cade are brother and sister and Gray is his best friend。 Gigi started at the same college that Gray is attending and has decided to watch out for her， which usually ends with him scaring away all the boys from t Tangled is book #2 in the Willow Springs series。 I had not read book #1 but was able to follow along just fine， it just made me want to go back to read the first book。 Who doesn’t love an angsty brother’s best friend story。 The writing was excellent and definitely full of angst。 Gigi and Cade are brother and sister and Gray is his best friend。 Gigi started at the same college that Gray is attending and has decided to watch out for her， which usually ends with him scaring away all the boys from talking to her。 Does he do it because she is his best friend’s little sister or because he has feelings he hasn’t admitted to yet？ After much angst and will they or won’t they， Gigi and Gray decide they can’t fight their feelings anymore。 Gray knows this might hurt his lifelong relationship with Cade but his love for Gigi means too much to let it go。 They have the sweetest relationship， Gray was devoted to Gigi from the beginning。 Aside from the love story between Gray and Gigi， a big part of the book revolves around Gray and his family。 He has a father who is an addict and finds himself into trouble many times， a stepfather who resents him， and a mother who doesn’t stick up for him。 As things progress you see the relationships between them change。 Who will be standing at Gray’s side when he finds himself in danger？ One thing I did not understand was the point of Tiffany in the story。 Tiffany was a previous hookup of Gray’s and president of the sorority that Gigi and her friend join。 Throughout the book she is mean and territorial and when she finds out about Gigi and Gray she makes it seem like she is going to cause trouble for them。 But nothing ever happens there。 。。。more

A fun， sweet， feel good followup to the Magic Willows。 When I read the first book， Frayed， I knew there was something brewing and undeniable between Gray and Gigi， I needed their story！！！ Gigi and Gray have known each other for a long time， Gray is Gigi's brothers best friend and she is off limits。 She is finally in college and Gray is keeping an eye out for her as a favor to his best friend but also to his own benefit。 Gray is what you picture a typical partying frat guy to be， but its getting A fun， sweet， feel good followup to the Magic Willows。 When I read the first book， Frayed， I knew there was something brewing and undeniable between Gray and Gigi， I needed their story！！！ Gigi and Gray have known each other for a long time， Gray is Gigi's brothers best friend and she is off limits。 She is finally in college and Gray is keeping an eye out for her as a favor to his best friend but also to his own benefit。 Gray is what you picture a typical partying frat guy to be， but its getting old， and having Gigi at the same college is messing with his head。 Gray has some issues he has to deal with which he never really shows he has all this stress going on in his life。 He comes off as the cool and collected kinda guy。The author gave us a slow burning， enemies to lovers， the push and pull， heartfelt， heart pitter pattering story between these Gray and Gigi。 It was great seeing the rest of the Magic Willow girls and their fun friendship continue in college even when some of them are apart from each other。 They have a special bond and I can't wait to see what is in store for the next MW gal。 。。。more

This second book of the Willow Springs series by author Laura Pavlov was so dang good！ It continues from book one （Frayed） with Gigi and her brother’s best friend， Gray。 This continues the timeline of the first book which was a high school romance， and goes into college romance， as they both were accepted to the same college。 The banter and the teasing the author wrote into the first book with these two characters is strong in Tangled as well。 It made it super enjoyable to read！ There were laugh This second book of the Willow Springs series by author Laura Pavlov was so dang good！ It continues from book one （Frayed） with Gigi and her brother’s best friend， Gray。 This continues the timeline of the first book which was a high school romance， and goes into college romance， as they both were accepted to the same college。 The banter and the teasing the author wrote into the first book with these two characters is strong in Tangled as well。 It made it super enjoyable to read！ There were laugh out loud moments， some definite tense moments （esp。 with Gray’s father）， some heat and romantic moments and then…my FAVORITE trope…Brother’s Best Friend！！！！ These characters were easy to love as was the storyline！ I would definitely recommend this one！ 5 stars！ 。。。more

I fell head over heels for the town and people of Willow Springs with the first book in this series， Frayed。 Even before I made it through chapter one of Tangled， I was already invested in Gigi and Gray’s story。 Absolutely recommend this series！！

I loved how Gigi and Gray navigate the uncharted waters of their feelings for each other。 Gary’s personal troubles almost ruined their chances。 Gigi kept him on the edge though and don’t back down ✊🏻Laura is an automatic read for me， I just love all that I’ve read of hers。

This was a good read。 It did start a little slow for me but it picked up。 I did get annoyed with GiGi and Gray’s hot/cold routine。 I understood Gray’s reservations regarding Gigi but he just needed to man up and take a leap of faith。 Gigi need to stand her ground more with Gray when he went cold on her。

Loved it！！！ Tangled was everything I want in a brothers best friend book… sweet， sassy and full of sexual tension。 This is the second book in the Willow Springs series and brings us Gigi and Gray’s story。 They have known each other all their lives， Grey practically lived at the Jacobs home growing up and whilst he was always over protective of Giga， along with her brother Cade， she hated Gray and found him irritating and frustrating。 Things change at college and feelings can no longer be locked Loved it！！！ Tangled was everything I want in a brothers best friend book… sweet， sassy and full of sexual tension。 This is the second book in the Willow Springs series and brings us Gigi and Gray’s story。 They have known each other all their lives， Grey practically lived at the Jacobs home growing up and whilst he was always over protective of Giga， along with her brother Cade， she hated Gray and found him irritating and frustrating。 Things change at college and feelings can no longer be locked away。I loved Gray！ He was the ideal boyfriend， sweet， protective and loyal， despite his playboy history。 Gigi was also a great character her sassiness entertained me。 She knew what she wanted and how to play to get it。 The story is a slow burn with a lot of push and pull between the MC。 The banter is funny and entertaining。 Laura makes sure there is never a dull moment in the story！ I really like the way the supporting characters are written into the story too。 We get an update on all the magic willows and how they are adjusting to college life。 I actually want to be part of the magic willows， their friendship is fantastic。 I really enjoyed the family dynamics and drama， particularly with Gray’s family。 I definitely recommend this book and series。 I had never heard of Laura before this year but she is now a definite favourite of mine。 。。。more
