This 3rd book in the "It's Just High School" series is the conclusion of Mia's and Julian's story。 We've all waited a long time for them to have their hard-earned happy ending and this book is exactly that。 This is actually a YA novel， but since the topics are really dark and disturbing and the characters and their actions are more adult-oriented， I would classify it as a adult dark romance。 This dark romance is unbelievable dramatic and suspenseful。 This roller-coaster of raw and brutal emotion This 3rd book in the "It's Just High School" series is the conclusion of Mia's and Julian's story。 We've all waited a long time for them to have their hard-earned happy ending and this book is exactly that。 This is actually a YA novel， but since the topics are really dark and disturbing and the characters and their actions are more adult-oriented， I would classify it as a adult dark romance。 This dark romance is unbelievable dramatic and suspenseful。 This roller-coaster of raw and brutal emotions， heartbreaks and unpredictable dangerous situations makes this book to a page-turner， but also sometimes to a confusing and chaotic experience。 This story is packed with so much savagery， drama， hate， secrets， lies， lust and stubbornness， it's like a damn category 5 hurricane。 Mia's life of suffering finally comes to an end， but not before she experiences the nightmare of her life。Julian's life has changed drastically， his dreams have been buried， but one constant will always remain and that is Mia。 This is not a standalone story。 You've to read previous books first to understand the whole story。 。。。more

Holy crap！！Holy smokes。 What an amazing conclusion to this amazing series。 Holy crap I was sitting on the edge of my seat threw this whole book。 I couldn’t put it down and couldn’t read fast enough to get to the next page。 Thandie has done it again with this amazing story。 I love everything about Mia and Julian and don’t want to see them go。

This book was adrenaline from start to finish。 I have been waiting for this final book of Mia and Julian’s story！ It took a totally different twist than I would’ve thought but I overall I liked it。 The ending， I was like “ffs” as I was reading it but in the end the time gaps make sense。 The reviews I think are misleading but maybe it’s me。 I enjoy this authors books。 Yes there were typos and better editing can be done， but it didn’t ruin the story for me！ Can’t wait for Liam’s story！！！

Mia and JulianI liked this book but I also felt like it was too much。 There was not enough information and too much information at the same time。 Yes I liked that Mia and Julian got their HEA but something just felt off。 Looking forward to see what is in store for Liam and the Bishop twins。

I wish I could give it 5 stars！I was really looking forward to this book but unfortunately I just felt it was very rushed， it didn’t make sense in parts， I just couldn’t get into it like the first two books unfortunately and the typos put me off as there was so many of them。。。 such a shame because I loved the first two books！ It’s just my opinion， other people might love it but it just wasn’t for me。 😊

Yeah！！！！ Its finally out！ I have been patiently waiting for it to be published。 I could have waited longer for some proofreading though。 There is nothing I hate more than trying to figure out what a sentence is supposed to say around around all the grammar or punctuation errors。Other than that， I am so glad that Mia & Julian got their HEA。 And everyone who deserved it got their come uppence。

This review has been hidden because it contains spoilers。 To view it， click here。 Gosh I had such high hopes for this book。 After originally being told after book 2 we’d only have to wait until December， it is now May and the book has finally come out。 As soon as I saw it was live I downloaded and got to reading。 Yes I agree with others， there were a lot of typos。 So many it got distracting。 My biggest issue is I felt like I was reading a very similar story to broken hate。 Spent a lot of time in the hospital。 Hating each other。 Female character wants to kill herself。 Being a Gosh I had such high hopes for this book。 After originally being told after book 2 we’d only have to wait until December， it is now May and the book has finally come out。 As soon as I saw it was live I downloaded and got to reading。 Yes I agree with others， there were a lot of typos。 So many it got distracting。 My biggest issue is I felt like I was reading a very similar story to broken hate。 Spent a lot of time in the hospital。 Hating each other。 Female character wants to kill herself。 Being a way from each other for years and finally get some happiness in the book at the very end。 I would have liked to see a different story for these characters and would have liked to see them together more。 I would also have liked some closure。 What happened to Kristine and her baby？ How was Nathan killed？ What’s going on with John and Nicky？ And what happened to Courtney？？ I’m assuming Shane will be part of Liams story。 Definitely wasn’t my favorite from Thandie。 。。。more

I was so looking forward to this conclusion- and alas， it just didn't quite deliver on what I was hoping for。 I know that so many people will enjoy it- and I hope you pick up and decide for yourself。 There was a lot that I did enjoy， and then parts not so much。I know there has been some drama around the editing of this story。 My review is not about that- though when I read this， the book still had several egregious errors as well as numerable minor ones。 Thandiwe has taken the book down to furth I was so looking forward to this conclusion- and alas， it just didn't quite deliver on what I was hoping for。 I know that so many people will enjoy it- and I hope you pick up and decide for yourself。 There was a lot that I did enjoy， and then parts not so much。I know there has been some drama around the editing of this story。 My review is not about that- though when I read this， the book still had several egregious errors as well as numerable minor ones。 Thandiwe has taken the book down to further edit， and I trust that those issues will be resolved。 My real challenge is that this didn't really do much to progress the story- it doesn't feel like really anything happens。 about 75% of the narrative is either flashbacks or our characters talking about has happened on debating about what to do- with very little actual forward moment， very little action， and very little character progression or emotional resonance。 Sure， some if this is that is because the cliffhanger left our characters in such a way that don't get to interact much， but more so it just feels like the narrative structure isn't befitting that of a finale- a lot of rehashing， a lot of recapping。We do ultimately get a satisfactory ending- paired with a story telling device at the very end that in general isn't my favorite。 It could， though， however， been a chance to show real maturity and character growth- and we do get some of that， but I found it to feel more unnecessary than anything other than to maybe jolt me as a reader。 I felt like ultimately this conclusion lost sight of what made this story so interesting- the volatile and complicated chemistry between our leading characters。 Lots of love for Thandiwe and her brilliant and twisted mind- this just wasn't my favorite。 。。。more

Lack of proofreading a continued problem throughout the seriesThis is the hardest review I've ever had to write。 After giving the first 2 books a chance I wasn't really sure I would read book 3。 The thing is the series could have been great， but the overly repetitive and error filled writing makes it hard to really get into the story。 Since book 3 took longer to publish I held out hope that the author had really decided to take the editing process seriously。 Within the first two chapters it quic Lack of proofreading a continued problem throughout the seriesThis is the hardest review I've ever had to write。 After giving the first 2 books a chance I wasn't really sure I would read book 3。 The thing is the series could have been great， but the overly repetitive and error filled writing makes it hard to really get into the story。 Since book 3 took longer to publish I held out hope that the author had really decided to take the editing process seriously。 Within the first two chapters it quickly became obvious that was not the case。 Numerous， easily corrected errors plagued the book and the repetitive sentences/thoughts meant I was skimming more than actually reading。 There were many times I couldn't even understand what the sentence was trying to say。I so rarely rate anything under 5 stars， but these things were also an issue with this author's previous series （which I absolutely loved despite those things）。 I just can't give this a 5 star because the consistent lack of serious editing with her work is a huge issue and maybe seeing a lower rating will get her to take things more seriously。 I don't know if she has an actual proofreading editor or if she is possibly just choosing to ignore an editors suggestions/corrections。 There is always a chance for a few missed errors in books， but when they start becoming so obvious/frequent that those errors end up being what you remember instead of the actual story， then that is a big problem （I usually highlight errors as I read， as a former editor it is just habit， but there were so many in this book I didn't even bother after the first few chapters）。 The pacing of this book also seemed off。。。。 the one big pivotal moment almost seemed like it should have been closer to the end of the book， which is why I was shocked when I realized I hadn't even reached the 50% mark， but then the pacing just nose dived after that。Rushing to publish without truly taking time to find/correct errors cheats the author by potentially turning readers away from what could have been a great book。 It also cheats the reader's who spend their hard earned money to purchase these books and expect that the author took time to correct the overwhelming number of errors before publishing。 I am not saying these things to be hateful or mean。 I just want to see her be as successful as I know she could be with her writing。 And until more people start being truly honest and holding her accountable for the lack of proofreading I'm not sure there will ever be any improvement。 。。。more

Mia and Julian’s story was a long， emotional journey but in the end it was completely worth the wait。 The story picks up where things were left in Cruel Kisses and is full of action and suspense and some background for about the first half the story。 At the half way mark things shift and there is the aftermath of what happened previous and the answers to all the unanswered questions in from the previous books。 Mia and Julian’s relationship was never easy and probably seemed doomed from the start Mia and Julian’s story was a long， emotional journey but in the end it was completely worth the wait。 The story picks up where things were left in Cruel Kisses and is full of action and suspense and some background for about the first half the story。 At the half way mark things shift and there is the aftermath of what happened previous and the answers to all the unanswered questions in from the previous books。 Mia and Julian’s relationship was never easy and probably seemed doomed from the start but the two of them were always drawn to each other and I loved learning how they truly got their start together。 There is chemistry between them， there is so much love but there is also so much pain and guilt。 Their journey throughout this book completely gutted me at times and I never stopped cheering for them。 I absolutely love the two of them and that they never once gave up on each other despite everything。 There are parts of this story that may be difficult for some people to read so keep that in mind while reading this book。 It also isn’t a standalone you’ll need to read the first two books before jumping into this one。 I can’t wait to return to this world and get little glimpses of Mia and Julian， but I am looking forward to getting more about Liam and hopefully Cole。 Those two also played a major role in Mia and Julian’s journey and never once stopped being there for the two of them。 If you’re looking for a dark， bully romance this is a series to check out。 。。。more
