I love Leslie Patricelli and her newest additions， Mommy and Daddy， are great！ I appreciate that both titles show each parent both playing and doing the work of childcare （Daddy cooks and cleans， gives a bath， makes pancakes; Mommy is shown feeding dinner and cleaning up after， driving to the park）。 These rhyming books would make great gifts for new parents or fun Mother's or Father's Day reading。 Both books have a spread where they show many different mommies/daddies of different skin colors an I love Leslie Patricelli and her newest additions， Mommy and Daddy， are great！ I appreciate that both titles show each parent both playing and doing the work of childcare （Daddy cooks and cleans， gives a bath， makes pancakes; Mommy is shown feeding dinner and cleaning up after， driving to the park）。 These rhyming books would make great gifts for new parents or fun Mother's or Father's Day reading。 Both books have a spread where they show many different mommies/daddies of different skin colors and appearances and both include one same-sex couple in that spread。 。。。more
