Funny read!My 3yr old and I love to read this。 He askes for it every night。 Before finding this book we always joked about butts being broken because they have a crack。 I love this book and looking forward to others by this author。

Don't let your kids look at their butts in the mirror。If you like unconventional books, you'll love this one。 There is certainly none like it among the usual children's books, and if you're looking for something different, this is it。 The narrator of the story goes on a quest for a new butt that doesn't have crack in it, when he discovers that his does from looking in the mirror one day。 Putting aside that this must be the most unobservant boy ever, he does have a very active imagination of what Don't let your kids look at their butts in the mirror。If you like unconventional books, you'll love this one。 There is certainly none like it among the usual children's books, and if you're looking for something different, this is it。 The narrator of the story goes on a quest for a new butt that doesn't have crack in it, when he discovers that his does from looking in the mirror one day。 Putting aside that this must be the most unobservant boy ever, he does have a very active imagination of what a butt could look like。 In my imagination, I can envision someone listening to this story being read aloud, thinking that it's about a kid kicking a wildebeest in its behind - "I kneed a gnu butt。" Maybe that could be another story。 。。。more

Pretty good and silly。 Could be a good read aloud。 Was not a fan of how it ended。

I was actually a bit disappointed with this one。 Normally I adore children's books, ESPECIALLY ones about butts and farts and underpants because those are a surefire way to get kids reading。 I have made more children fall off of chairs reading "Brief Thief" than I should probably admit to。 But(t) I cannot keep that book on my elementary library shelf, it is so funny and popular。 This one just falls flat though。 It has none of the charm and just drags on。 Such a cute premise (a little kid notices I was actually a bit disappointed with this one。 Normally I adore children's books, ESPECIALLY ones about butts and farts and underpants because those are a surefire way to get kids reading。 I have made more children fall off of chairs reading "Brief Thief" than I should probably admit to。 But(t) I cannot keep that book on my elementary library shelf, it is so funny and popular。 This one just falls flat though。 It has none of the charm and just drags on。 Such a cute premise (a little kid notices his butt has a crack so it must be broken!!! How did he break it? And what kind of new butt should he get?) But it is just lacking that charming element, or the fun surprise that comes at the end of "Polar Bear's Underwear"。 It made me sad because it had such potential to be another knockout "all the kids want to read it" book, but it just missed the mark in favor of so many other good "unmentionables" books。 。。。more

Grade Level: 1-5Genre: Comedy and Humor I love the silliness of this story。 It is a story that is just silly to read。 Any child would enjoy reading a story like this。 It has a silly plot line and it just lets children be silly。 This was a unique story to read。 The kids really seemed to enjoy it since they were laughing the whole time。 I highly recommend this book to anyone's family that has this type of humor。 Grade Level: 1-5Genre: Comedy and Humor I love the silliness of this story。 It is a story that is just silly to read。 Any child would enjoy reading a story like this。 It has a silly plot line and it just lets children be silly。 This was a unique story to read。 The kids really seemed to enjoy it since they were laughing the whole time。 I highly recommend this book to anyone's family that has this type of humor。 。。。more

Just a very fun and silly book - loved the art。

This book was about a boy who needed a new butt because he saw a big crack in his butt!

This book had a good amount of silliness and we found it funny。 It reminds me of being little and discovering new things about my body。 Did I think my butt crack was an anomaly? Nope。 But I like turning the mundane, but ironically taboo(?) into something to laugh at。

My God。。。。。。。。

Kids will love this one。 Adults。。。 probably not as much。

For: readers looking for a goofy book with potty humor。Possible red flags: some readers may find the content too crude。

Alice

A friend recommended this book because she said it struck a funny cord with her。 (We are obviously in desperate need of entertainment here in New Mexico during quarantine 🙄😆)。 I need a new one too! Not because it has a crack in it, just because of you know。。。covid。 It’s been enlarged。 😁

I work at my local library shelving children's book and I came across this one a lot。 I wondered why this book was circulating so much and gave it a try。 It is quite funny and I am sure children of all ages would laugh and enjoy it。 I work at my local library shelving children's book and I came across this one a lot。 I wondered why this book was circulating so much and gave it a try。 It is quite funny and I am sure children of all ages would laugh and enjoy it。 。。。more

I mean。。。who doesn’t?This was a hilarious book to read to my class to break up the doldrums of virtual learning。 Great for a good laugh and mental health! Be warned, this is difficult to read out-loud without “cracking” a smile。

Nice readIt was a cute book 。 I liked the way it rhymed and my son loved it。 Its a read for everyone。

This book is for early primary grades and is contemporary realistic。 I really think that as kids you ask a lot of questions and I can imagine some kids could think something is wrong with their bottom。 I think this book would be a good conversation starter in a classroom and I also thought this book was such a cute book and written really well

My Father bought this for my 4 yr old。。

Amy

This book is the perfect antidote to combat cranky kiddos。 By the second page, the tears had stopped, and by the time a rocket butt was acquired, there was laughter。

Heather Knoll

Just read this with my 4。5 yo boy。 We giggled the whole way through。 Cute book with funny illustrations。

Anne

If you know a child under the age of six, you would be well advised to share this book with said child because it offers lots of laughs。 Honestly, if you are over six and still think bodies are absurdly funny, I recommend it。 Ridiculous but fun。

Caffers

Ummm。。。 no。 Besides just being a waste of time and not funny, it was really hard to read on a kindle。

Conor O'Hanlon

Not very good。 Even do I am 9

Nikki

Strong start, silly premise, but fizzles with a weird ending。

Beth

Very funny!

This one is not for the feint of heart。 Lots of talk about butts, butt cracks, and farts。 If that's not your cup of tea, I suggest you toot, err, scoot along。 If you don't think it'll wipe you out, then give it a sh。。。ot (oh, behave!)。 This one is not for the feint of heart。 Lots of talk about butts, butt cracks, and farts。 If that's not your cup of tea, I suggest you toot, err, scoot along。 If you don't think it'll wipe you out, then give it a sh。。。ot (oh, behave!)。 。。。more

Very funny tale about butt cracks!

Six-year-old thought it was the epitome of humor。 We have read it at least five times since Christmas。
