I loved this series of books。 Ellie Kline is a police detective。 Her whole career has been chasing after a violent serial killer （Dr。 Kingsley） besides other cases。 In book 9， everything she thinks is important in her life comes front and center ！！！ Scary good and what a page turner！！ I recommend you read the whole series。

Cold Death by Mary Stone was the last of a wonderful series involving Ellie Kline and her nemesis， Dr。 Kingsley。 Katarina and Bethany are in his crosshairs and continue to be “mentally played with”。 Kingsley continues to go after Ellis and those she loves and Clay， her love interest， continues his search or his sister。 This novel is a twisty tale of evil and the chase of it from beginning to end。 Wonderful book and wonderful series！ I highly recommend this book！
