A figuring end to the series

I had this delivered to home rather than school so I could read it first! No spoilers but my favorite line is: Sometimes all it requires is finding the right book。 You won’t be disappointed。

Felt a little rushed but I’m so emotional。 I still have some lingering questions but overall I’m satisfied。 Thank you Kazu, these books will always mean the world to me。

It’s here! The last book in the series, and very much worth the wait。 The writing does not disappoint。

I was completely and utterly enthralled going in to read this book, but I cannot say that I am satisfied。 There are many contradictions that this book raises to previously stated concepts, and a big logical paradox。

The perfect ending to a series of books I have loved and have impacted so many of my students。 Every choice we make has a ripple effect we may not always know but a choice is always made。

Utter perfection! I love this so so much。 I’ve been reading the series since 2012。 So waiting 10 years for the finale I know it’s not as long as people who have been with it since the beginning but 10 years is a long time。 I’m just blown away。 Usually I find endings disappointing but not so with this。 I read somewhere that Kazu was getting pressured to finish this。 Well do you want an ending that’s rushed or an ending that is absolutely beautiful? I'm giving the book - and truly the overall series - five stars。 Kazu Kibuishi and his team did a masterful thing in the creation of this story。 Definitely epic。 It was worth waiting six years for the story to come to its conclusion (although he apparently loved making us wait on the absolute edge of our seats)。 I'm giving the book - and truly the overall series - five stars。 Kazu Kibuishi and his team did a masterful thing in the creation of this story。 Definitely epic。 It was worth waiting six years for the story to come to its conclusion (although he apparently loved making us wait on the absolute edge of our seats)。 。。。more

Was good book。 Did not tie up multiple stories lines they way I would have liked them to be tied up (but also realize that I am an adult reading graphic novels written for children)。

So Barnes & Noble had a copy when I went there today; I’ve been waiting since August to dive back into this wonderful world, and I was thrilled to see that they had a copy before the release date。 I’m speechless。 I may be immature; I know it’s a graphic novel。 But this book ended so beautifully with such a lovely ending and so many wise words that it was definitely worth the wait。 I never want to forget this series。 And so, being one of the first (probably) thousand or so people in the US to rea So Barnes & Noble had a copy when I went there today; I’ve been waiting since August to dive back into this wonderful world, and I was thrilled to see that they had a copy before the release date。 I’m speechless。 I may be immature; I know it’s a graphic novel。 But this book ended so beautifully with such a lovely ending and so many wise words that it was definitely worth the wait。 I never want to forget this series。 And so, being one of the first (probably) thousand or so people in the US to read it, I just have one thing to say: Thank you to Kazu Kibuishi for bringing us this absolute jewel of a series。 The ending is truly inspiring, even for a child’s comic book。 I love the little details and I just can’t think of anything bad to say about it。 I wish there was an extra novel; It felt like it ended too fast, but all good things have to come to an end。Bravo, Amulet, and may the one who reads this always follow the light。 。。。more

I started this series when I was 9。 I am currently 23。I waited six years for this book。 I finished it in an hour and a half。 When I say my expectations were high, they certainty were。 This series got me into fantasy。 It is everything I love about the genre。 And when I say my expectations were passed? I mean it。Its incredible how these books can knock me on my ass at 23 just as they did when I was a tween。 The plot twists deliver。 The artwork delivers。 The story delivers。 I know the wait has been I started this series when I was 9。 I am currently 23。I waited six years for this book。 I finished it in an hour and a half。 When I say my expectations were high, they certainty were。 This series got me into fantasy。 It is everything I love about the genre。 And when I say my expectations were passed? The Stonekeeper (Amulet #1) was one of the first books I was really invested in as a young reader。 A lot of my love for this book, and the series as a whole, comes from really strong nostalgia。I started reading these when I was in middle school and I am not in my early twenties。 It was really interesting to go back and re-read the series in preparation for the last one。 While, yes, these are children's/teen books, I still enjoyed them as I did when I first read them! That being said, in that more The Stonekeeper (Amulet #1) was one of the first books I was really invested in as a young reader。 A lot of my love for this book, and the series as a whole, comes from really strong nostalgia。I started reading these when I was in middle school and I am not in my early twenties。 It was really interesting to go back and re-read the series in preparation for the last one。 While, yes, these are children's/teen books, I still enjoyed them as I did when I first read them! That being said, in that more than 10 years since I read 'The Last Council' (Amulet #4) (where I left off in the series) I feel like the plot did take a decent turn。 *Spoiler territory for the entire series*I feel like they were introducing so many stone keepers that Emily and Trellis didn't feel as special as I remember them to be? I also feel like the emphasis on space and spaceships kind of took me away from the original 'magic' this series used to feel like。 I wish it focused more on fleshing out the stone keeper characters instead of all that。 But again with that being said - this is a children's book/graphic novel - I suppose I cant expect super in depth storylines for everyone。 I also feel there was a decent amount of unanswered questions - a lot of things revolving around Silas, the animal curse that was never really explained? but again for this level I suppose it's fine, that that stuff can just be left to the reader's imagination。 I would also love for more content in the world。 I feel like there is so much more to explore and I was really sad when Emily, Navin and their mom returned to Earth。Over the end (of the series and of this book Waverider) was very sweet :) I will always go back and read this series for the nostalgia, the art, and the overall lighthearted vibes it always gives me! I give this book a 3。5/5-4/5 star rating, I don't think its the best book in the series but it gave a good end to a story that has taken up over 10 years of my life! 。。。more

I have to go with a five。 Great way to end the series that has taken Kazu 16 years to write and produce。A lot of lessons about life in this book like how to master your mind, how our emotions can control us, and about forgiving。 We can learn a lot from this graphic novel。

Wow! 🤗 I got to read the final installment of the Amulet saga。 It's been a long wait, but I am truly happy with the stories conclusion。 💝 The story was definitely a page turner and I was delighted to follow Emily on her final journey。 More importantly though, the story ended with a glimmer of hope and happiness as all the characters embarked on a brand new adventure and new personal journeys as well。 😃 I am so happy I had the opportunity to read the series over the years and will treasure all th Wow! 🤗 I got to read the final installment of the Amulet saga。 It's been a long wait, but I am truly happy with the stories conclusion。 💝 The story was definitely a page turner and I was delighted to follow Emily on her final journey。 More importantly though, the story ended with a glimmer of hope and happiness as all the characters embarked on a brand new adventure and new personal journeys as well。 😃 I am so happy I had the opportunity to read the series over the years and will treasure all the 9 Amulet books as a keepsake! 😋 Happy reading! 😉👍 。。。more

The final book in a popular series on my classroom shelf。 The ending feels like a new story might begin from there。 It was a joy to see the growth and lessons from these characters I've come to love。 The final book in a popular series on my classroom shelf。 The ending feels like a new story might begin from there。 It was a joy to see the growth and lessons from these characters I've come to love。 。。。more

How many times are you gonna change the release date? The amazon link on this site doesn't link you to any of the Amulet books never mind the 9th and final one。 My daughter has been waiting to finish this series and it's maddening as a parent to continuously try to track down a release date and days before said date there is a new release date。 Come on, I can understand your working on other projects but you have real and dedicated people waiting for you to finish your work。 I have always been a How many times are you gonna change the release date?
