As usual Avery has blown my mind with her epicness！！ We get to really know Aurelia both her past and her present with her misfit pack。 For those familiar with this author this is the BFF to Willow from the Forbidden Pack series。 I just love a good cross over and this one is done so very well。 Full of surprises， sadness， and so much more put together into one epic start to a new series。 I totally loved it so I give it 5/5 stars。

Brilliant read！ Oh damn ， oh damn， oh damn！！！ WHAT A BOOK！！！It’s nice to finally have a book that explains the beginning really well through out the characters life’s and doesn’t just jump it。So much excitement and I couldn’t put it down。 Literally read this in 1 day and couldn’t recommend it more。 Gutted that I have to wait till October for the next book but that’s just means I get to read it all over again before then！！！

Do not read before Willows Forbidden Pack booksI've just finished reading Aurelia's first book and I actually feel like I've read 2 books。 The first book/part being a prequel to both Aurelia and Willow's series， and then the 2nd book/ part the first book in Aurelia's Pack of Misfits， however the prequel section was definitely the larger portion。 The reason I say this is the book synopsis talks about Aurelia and the mysterious packs， however， there is no mention of these packs until 55-60% of the Do not read before Willows Forbidden Pack booksI've just finished reading Aurelia's first book and I actually feel like I've read 2 books。 The first book/part being a prequel to both Aurelia and Willow's series， and then the 2nd book/ part the first book in Aurelia's Pack of Misfits， however the prequel section was definitely the larger portion。 The reason I say this is the book synopsis talks about Aurelia and the mysterious packs， however， there is no mention of these packs until 55-60% of the way through this book。 The first section of the book covers the first 19 years of Aurelia's life， and her interactions with Willow， Onyx， Ace and the coven and sets up the story。 The second part of the book picks up the story from when Aurelia is 27 years old and puts us to the time frame when Willow's book is beginning as well。 It definitely feels like 2 separate books。 However I digress。 If you are looking to read this book but have not yet read Willow's Forbidden Pack first 2 books， I would suggest either reading Willow's books first， or reading Willow's books right afterwards。 Despite being 2 different series， these are not stand alone。 In fact， Willow's and Aurelia's stories are linked， and are basically 2 different pov's of one story at this point。 I found that Aurelia's book filled in a quite a bit of information for Willow's books， and the cliffhanger at the end of Aurelia's first book corresponds with the events at the end of Willow's first books。 However， I'd recommend reading Willow's first 2 books first because Aurelia's book mentions a character that wasn't really discussed until Willow's 2nd book。 Confusing？ I did enjoy this book。 Even though Aurelia is a big part of Willow's story， I discovered through reading this book that there is a lot about Aurelia that hadn't been revealed and information that Willow isn't aware of。 It starts with a mystery event， which is gradually revealed throughout the book。 I would have liked to have seen more of the misfit pack， but honestly this is really the set up book and it seems book 2 will be where we really get to know them。 。。。more

Couldn’t finishI’m sorry， I kept reading hoping the main character would get better， she is so weak。 I stopped at about 40%， there was no growth on her part。 Something bad would happen and she would get mad for a second and then go back to being weak and controlled。

This girl and this story， ugh！！！ She literally listens in on conversations that explain what's happening and then plays dumb and has her friends and family explain it to her again （please give me more redundancy because I'm slow， oh wait， that's just the MC） AND then she still plays innocent， helpless and dumb then takes forever for her to get her shit together and it wasn't even enough for me at that point。The story is weak with holes in world building， and downright missing information， which This girl and this story， ugh！！！ She literally listens in on conversations that explain what's happening and then plays dumb and has her friends and family explain it to her again （please give me more redundancy because I'm slow， oh wait， that's just the MC） AND then she still plays innocent， helpless and dumb then takes forever for her to get her shit together and it wasn't even enough for me at that point。The story is weak with holes in world building， and downright missing information， which wasn't imperative to the story but frustrating in the enjoyment department。 Consistency was shaky too。 。。。more
