This review has been hidden because it contains spoilers。 To view it， click here。 I was very disappointed in this book。 I used a credit on audible because I listened to the others as well。 I seriously thought this could have been better or written differently。 The first half of the book was ok; it gave a bit of backstory but it was just ok。 The second half was just down right horrible。 I absolutely HATED how Saint treated her once they got her back。 It should have been written completely different than what it was。 Ash should have been Haidens mate。 Ash/Haiden had SO much mor I was very disappointed in this book。 I used a credit on audible because I listened to the others as well。 I seriously thought this could have been better or written differently。 The first half of the book was ok; it gave a bit of backstory but it was just ok。 The second half was just down right horrible。 I absolutely HATED how Saint treated her once they got her back。 It should have been written completely different than what it was。 Ash should have been Haidens mate。 Ash/Haiden had SO much more chemistry and love between them than Saint/Ash。 I’m SO glad Haiden helped her escape but it was confusing sometimes。 Haiden loved her as a child and he shoulda been mated w her。 He even left at the end for a break。 It was too much for him sadly enough。 I dont know。 It coulda been better。 I also can’t believe her mother had her raped so she wouldn’t become a chosen。 I can’t believe the rapist even followed her to Vegas。 SMH。 It was nice to see the other characters in the story。 I believe Kashton & Jasmine will be next。 。。。more

Saint is 🥵 didn’t really care for Kashton but loved Haidyens character as well。 Ash’s family was such crap。 Making her think she’s crazy。 It does get dark towards the ending but the ending does end well！

Well ， this was disappointed ☹️ The worst book I’ve read so far this year， the MMC and MFC had zero personality， they literally only f*** had not conversation or any connection of love ， also the last 30% of the book was a nightmare！！！ Such a mess and who the f* Is Benny？？？ I’m so confused and upset that I wasted my time with this book

So what do we have here:- revenge romance- partner sharing （but not a reverse harem）- TW: rape- somnophilia （consensual）- humiliation and degradation- shitty evil parents （bc obviously that’s a common theme amongst LORDS）I could not put this down。 I found Saint’s story the most compelling of the LORDS books。 There’s always been the mystery in the background since book 2 of what happened to the Spade brothers and their chosen （well， one of their chosen’s）。 This is split into two parts: part one - So what do we have here:- revenge romance- partner sharing （but not a reverse harem）- TW: rape- somnophilia （consensual）- humiliation and degradation- shitty evil parents （bc obviously that’s a common theme amongst LORDS）I could not put this down。 I found Saint’s story the most compelling of the LORDS books。 There’s always been the mystery in the background since book 2 of what happened to the Spade brothers and their chosen （well， one of their chosen’s）。 This is split into two parts: part one - the beginning of Saint and Ashtyn’s relationship at Barrington， including the legendary chosen ceremony and why Ashtyn disappears; part two - finding her， bringing her back to Carnage， dealing with the aftermath and how everyone’s changed， and of course， it wouldn’t be a LORDS book without the woman being kidnapped at one point or another。 Part one is without a doubt the best part。 If I had to rank the LORDS book men:1） Saint， book 4 （his and Ash’s relationship was always consensual and they loved each other before the vow ceremony）2） Ryat， book 1 （started out as revenge but did what he had for his woman and always found her）3） Tyson， book 3 （very close near tie with Ryat。 He was just extra mean to his wife in the beginning）4） Sin， book 2 （hated the stuff he did to her）While I do highly recommend this and it’s somehow still my favoritish book in the series， there are some things that felt unresolved。 You don’t ever find out what happened with Ashtyn’s brother and father。 And the big bad reveal at the end of the book felt random af （sir who even are you？？？！）， but it could be just because after the last books I expected an evil family member to be behind it all again。 Anyway， this turned out to be a good series。 I love how Shantel always has some big mystery to solve and how the stories are interconnected。 And there’s always usually something connecting the men’s initiations to the current timeline。 I did notice some repetition in her writing （literally repeating the same dialogue/inner thoughts 3 pages later）， but it’s not overwhelming luckily。 。。。more

I love reading all the reviews other people leave behind and it’s 1 star or 2 and I’m over here like 4。5 fuckin stars。 This book had me in chokehold with each chapter I was like what’s gonna happen and something fuckin batshit happened every damn time。 The last few chapters had me crying and gasping for air。 Honestly， 4。5 for me and fuck the haters。 I am praying that Madness is about Haiydn bc that Spade brother is the one to die for。

DNF。 What a disturbing pile of trash。 If I owned a physical copy of this book I would actually toss it in my fireplace。 The author should find a new profession because she is a garbage writer; I’m embarassed for her。 I deleted this from my kindle because I didn’t want to look at the cover again。 What a waste of $5。

Ever since the sinner I was so intrigued by carnage and what it was about and who these men were that ran it。 Needless to say I was not disappointed， however I need MORE！ Ugh I just love them all， I can’t wait to hopefully get Haidyn’s story as well because he’s is just delightful in the naughtiest way possible hehehe。 Saint was everything I needed him to be plus some！
