Thank you to NetGalley and the publisher for providing me with an ARC of this book in exchange for an honest review。Great cookbook for making food for a big family。 Easy and simple recipes that are great for families。 It has the feel of a family cookbook which was nice。 The recipes were also delicious and amazing!

Free advanced copy from Netgalley for honest reviewGood cookbook for a busy family。 The recipes are not complicated or fussy and are geared to getting dinner on the table with a minimum of time。 For the most part the recipes are kid friendly and the book includes many photographs of the food as well as the author's family。 I tried several dishes from the book and for the most part was pleased with the results。 One thing I wish it included was nutritional info/calories etc。 I recommend this book Free advanced copy from Netgalley for honest reviewGood cookbook for a busy family。 The recipes are not complicated or fussy and are geared to getting dinner on the table with a minimum of time。 For the most part the recipes are kid friendly and the book includes many photographs of the food as well as the author's family。 I tried several dishes from the book and for the most part was pleased with the results。 One thing I wish it included was nutritional info/calories etc。 I recommend this book to anyone who wants to eat fairly heathy meals with very little prep。 。。。more

I love this book! As I am going through it for the first time, you can feel the love in this family! The photos are not perfect, yes they are candid but do not look staged, more like moments captured on film。 Even the photos of the dishes look real, there is egg stuck on the muffin tin, burnt drippings on the pans, the pans their self are worn and well loved。 This reminds me of getting an inside peek into someone's home and their family recipes rather than a "celebrity chef" cookbook。 Which is a I love this book! I love that there are some to hide veggies for the kids, and most dishes are lower sugar。 This is the perfect book to give a new mom or mom to be。 This is the food that kids should be raised on, rather than the over processed junk。 But this book breaks them down into easy and quick to make meals, making it a lifestyle that any one can find the time for。 Without going to too much detail about the recipes the meatloaf was insanely delicious! I would have never thought to add sauerkraut or oddities to it。 But it works beautifully! Beware this isn't the ketchup covered meatloaf you may be used to, but its a turkey healthy meatloaf you will try and never go back。 。。。more

This cookbook had lots of fantastic pictures! I enjoyed the cute family pictures the author included, and of course, the appetizing pictures of the recipes。 Almost every recipe seems to have a picture, and some even have more than one。 Most of the recipes also look pretty yummy as well。 I also loved the informative notes they added。 The thing I disliked the most is that a lot of the recipes have a decent number of ingredients, so that is not what I would describe as "no-fuss"。 Also, there is no This cookbook had lots of fantastic pictures! Thanks to Netgalley and Houghton Mifflin Harcourt for this ARC in exchange for my review。 The No-Fuss Family Cookbook is a collection of recipes made with busy families in mind。 There are no extensive instructions or long lists of ingredients。 As it says in the title, no fuss。 Divided into six sections and well illustrated, the book presents plenty of easy and creative meals to be enjoyed by the whole family。 I tried to bullet point some of the recipes I want to try for this review, but realized Thanks to Netgalley and Houghton Mifflin Harcourt for this ARC in exchange for my review。 The No-Fuss Family Cookbook is a collection of recipes made with busy families in mind。 There are no extensive instructions or long lists of ingredients。 As it says in the title, no fuss。 Divided into six sections and well illustrated, the book presents plenty of easy and creative meals to be enjoyed by the whole family。 I tried to bullet point some of the recipes I want to try for this review, but realized there are too many to list。 This is a great cookbook and I'm looking forward to cooking some of these meals for my family。 。。。more

I received this ebook from NetGalley in exchange for an honest review。I really love how this cookbook isn't full of 5 million sections, and instead has 6 different sections along with an intro, acknowledgments, and an index。 The pictures look good enough to eat right out of the book, and some of the pics are downright funny。 I love that we get a sneak peek into Ryan Scott's life。 My favorite thing about this cookbook is the fact that pretty much every recipe has a picture to go along with it, wh I received this ebook from NetGalley in exchange for an honest review。I really love how this cookbook isn't full of 5 million sections, and instead has 6 different sections along with an intro, acknowledgments, and an index。 The pictures look good enough to eat right out of the book, and some of the pics are downright funny。 I love that we get a sneak peek into Ryan Scott's life。 My favorite thing about this cookbook is the fact that pretty much every recipe has a picture to go along with it, which is a huge factor when I'm looking at or through cookbooks。 I need to see a picture of the final product。 I appreciate the fact that each page isn't bombarded with random things that don't need to be there。 Each page either has a recipe or a picture of the recipe。 No additional flourishes, no random pictures of sunsets。 It's perfectly laid out。 。。。more

First off I’m a Ryan Scott fan。 I watched him on Rachael Ray and loved his recipes so I knew I would love this cookbook。 All the recipes are accessible and easy to follow, most all recipes are accompanied by terrific pics。 And the pics will make you want to run into your kitchen and get started! Oh and the cute family pics are so sweet too! That baby is a doll! This cookbook has the recipes for your every day meals and special desserts。

4/5***Special thanks to NetGalley and Houghton Mifflin Harcourt for providing me with a copy of this book in exchange for an honest review***I really enjoy this book。 So far I have made the loaded applesauce muffins and they taste soooo good (almost like little carrot cakes as advertised)。I would recommend this book, but I did have some problems with the e-book format and would recommend one gets this book as a physical copy。

This cookbook does a great job at including kid-friendly, adults-(probably)-only, and DIY to everyone’s own tastes。 About half of the recipes have pictures。 And each recipe has a blurb to introduce Ryan’s reasoning for including it。 Many of the recipes also have notes at the end for substitutions and other tips。 It’s a great cookbook to give as a gift to new families or more established families who may need some new staples。 Contents include: breakfast and baked goods; soups, salads, and snacks This cookbook does a great job at including kid-friendly, adults-(probably)-only, and DIY to everyone’s own tastes。 About half of the recipes have pictures。 And each recipe has a blurb to introduce Ryan’s reasoning for including it。 Many of the recipes also have notes at the end for substitutions and other tips。 It’s a great cookbook to give as a gift to new families or more established families who may need some new staples。 Contents include: breakfast and baked goods; soups, salads, and snacks; pasta; dinner; veggies and sides; and dessert。 Go forth and feed your hungry children! 。。。more

This book has tasty sounding recipes and the author is likeable。 I'm pretty sure I must have watched his season of Top Chef but I don't really remember him。 The recipes do sound generally creative and healthy-ish。 They are very heavy in wheat, especially hard to purchase gluten free items like Hawaiian buns that he uses in lots of dishes。 They also lean towards very high carb and no nutritional information is provided for any of the recipes, so it's not a book that I can really cook from。 Photos This book has tasty sounding recipes and the author is likeable。 I'm pretty sure I must have watched his season of Top Chef but I don't really remember him。 The recipes do sound generally creative and healthy-ish。 They are very heavy in wheat, especially hard to purchase gluten free items like Hawaiian buns that he uses in lots of dishes。 They also lean towards very high carb and no nutritional information is provided for any of the recipes, so it's not a book that I can really cook from。 Photos are provided for some but not all recipes (maybe 1/3 if I recall correctly, but that's a wild guess)。 The author's sister is vegan so there are a few vegan recipes, but the majority rely on lots of animal products。 For those who eat the Standard American Diet, this will be a fun step up without a lot of extra work。 I read a temporary digital ARC of this book for review。 。。。more

This cookbook is truly a collection of no-fuss recipes that seem simple enough for family dinners, yet good or fancy enough to actually really want to make them。 To be honest, I had no idea who Ryan Scott was when I started reading this book but I was happily surprised by all the recipes in this cookbook。 There is a nice mixture of breakfasts, dinners and desserts -- and these come with great photos, too。

This is a wonderful cookbook。 It is as the title says No Fuss。 Just wonderful recipes to suit the whole family。 As a mum of two of the most pickiest eaters I struggle to find recipes that will suit us all。 Whilst having a dish that looks appetising and is healthy。 I have already marked up many recipes on my to try list。 Wonderful colour pictures of the food (and the authors very cute daughter)。 Easy to follow instructions。 I also loved the authors notes for each recipe。 Like which buns to buy。 F This is a wonderful cookbook。 It is as the title says No Fuss。 Just wonderful recipes to suit the whole family。 As a mum of two of the most pickiest eaters I struggle to find recipes that will suit us all。 Whilst having a dish that looks appetising and is healthy。 I have already marked up many recipes on my to try list。 Wonderful colour pictures of the food (and the authors very cute daughter)。 Easy to follow instructions。 I also loved the authors notes for each recipe。 Like which buns to buy。 Freezing instructions and prepping ahead。 Definitely a book that will be used and not sat left on the shelf。 。。。more
