4。5 Stars！ The agents are back， and I couldn’t be happier to dive back into their suspense-filled and steamy world。 This time， the perpetually grumpy， and very Special Agent Micah Emmett is about to meet his match。Summary:Dr。 Evita Litchfield knew that motherhood would see her making some tough decisions， but she never thought they’d be decisions based on life and death。 At least， not outside her chosen career path。 But her young son and she are in danger。 The kind that makes her desperate for a 4。5 Stars！ The agents are back， and I couldn’t be happier to dive back into their suspense-filled and steamy world。 This time， the perpetually grumpy， and very Special Agent Micah Emmett is about to meet his match。Summary:Dr。 Evita Litchfield knew that motherhood would see her making some tough decisions， but she never thought they’d be decisions based on life and death。 At least， not outside her chosen career path。 But her young son and she are in danger。 The kind that makes her desperate for an easy solution while keeping her son safe， and not shirking her responsibility to her patients。 Considering her situation， there is no easy solution。 That includes begging the broody Special Agent Micah Emmett for help。 Why would he？ Evie wouldn’t have known just how much danger she was in if not for Micah， but he doesn’t know her。 Or does he？ In the course of his investigation， Micah had the opportunity to tap Evie， and he’s been watching her for longer than he’d care to admit。 She should be off limits， but he can’t seem to move past her。 Soon， he’s glued to her side， and not because he needs her to close his case。 Evie doesn’t need the added passion and intensity heaped on the stress， fear and anger she’s already feeling。 She needs to regroup and stay strong for her son， but can’t she just be selfish this one time？I had a great time reading Micah and Evie’s story。 I was pulled in immediately， and almost didn’t notice I was reading through it so fast。 While I don’t feel Tapped is as dark and gritty as book one in this new series， it did still have that dark edge on occasion。 To be honest， I was wary of reading about Micah after meeting him in Possession。 He did not make a good first impression， but I could tell that he was loyal and protective。 Seeing him turn all that goodness on a woman？ HAWT！ Seeing him direct it at a young boy who had never had anything like that from a father-figure？ So sweet。 I loved his dedication， his honesty， and his strength。 Learning more about him and his history， it shed some light on his personality， and why he’s so passionate and hardworking at his job。 My only wish is that we could have learned a little more about Hannah， and how Micah made the transition into law enforcement。 Evie was a bada$$ in her own right。 A career woman with a very involved and demanding career and a single mom， she juggled it all incredibly well while not letting her son feel any of the burden。 I loved that she was so hardworking and down-to-Earth when her privileged upbringing could have had her acting in a completely different way。 She was caring and nurturing， and she handed that out to everyone。 As a couple， I think Micah and Evie don’t immediately seem to fit together， but looking deeper， they fit perfectly。 They had a lot of chemistry， and that translated into some pretty steamy scenes。 But it wasn’t all physical。 They each gave the other what they had been missing， and what they may not have realized they needed。 In the end， I hated having to put this book down。 It was escapism at its best。 Brynne has a way with words。 The storyline was detailed and interesting。 Supporting cast is always fun。 I can’t wait for Rocco to meet his match。 I can see he isn't quite ready yet， but maybe soon he’ll find someone who turns his world upside down。 We even got to meet a new agent， King。 He’s of the Micah-type personality and has a mysterious air about him。 I really hope we get to learn more about him and his need to be in Miami in the future。 Tapped brought us even deeper into this growing world and family， and I am here for it。 Micah and Evie were easy to love， and I loved seeing the life Brax and Landyn have built， too。 We even got to reunite with an old friend from another series， and that was just icing on the cake。 ♡ 。。。more

Perfection！ The story， the hero， the heroine， the side characters， the banter， the twists and turns…true perfection。 This is one of those books that I didn’t want to stop reading but I didn’t want to keep reading it either because then it would be over and I didn’t want it to end。 And it’s one of those books that’s so difficult to write a review for because there are no words adequate enough to do it justice。 This has quickly become a favorite series for me。 #MicahExperience…yes please！
