Imperfect is。。。。。Perfect。。。。。but I wouldn’t expect anything else from this amazing author who brings us right into the story， feeling what the characters are feeling and seeing how imperfection is someone else’s perfection。 Shiloh is a lone wolf， she doesn’t get close to anyone and once they start trying， she turns into a Queen Bi***** freezing them out and cutting them lose with words。 She knows it but can’t stop it， her upbringing and being the daughter of a criminal made her the way she is。 B Imperfect is。。。。。Perfect。。。。。but I wouldn’t expect anything else from this amazing author who brings us right into the story， feeling what the characters are feeling and seeing how imperfection is someone else’s perfection。 Shiloh is a lone wolf， she doesn’t get close to anyone and once they start trying， she turns into a Queen Bi***** freezing them out and cutting them lose with words。 She knows it but can’t stop it， her upbringing and being the daughter of a criminal made her the way she is。 But Luke， gets one look at the sassy spitfire of a woman， who’s strong， beautiful and can hold her own banter。。。。and he isn’t letting go。。。he’s not letting her cut him out。。。he’s there for good and he will dig and dig and dig until he gets it all out of her。。。。Oh Boy！！！！ We all need a Luke in our corner， who never gives up and stands by you no matter what， no words or actions to make him run the other way。。。。WOW。 Once again this author nailed it with story that had me glued from the first page to the last。 Don’t forget the tissues， you will need them， a tall glass of ice， which you will need to chew on to cool off during the steamy sensual dirty talking scenes， and a few hours with no interruptions because you will not want to stop once you start。*I voluntarily read an advanced copy and expressed my honest opinion* 。。。more

Imperfect is the latest book from the Triple Canopy series filled with those families we have come to know and love from the 707 series and the Next Generation series。 We initially met Luke in Taking Liberty。 He's working for TC with Shiloh walks in wanting time on the gun range。 Shiloh is a SWAT officer， and she knows her weapons and how to use them。 So begins their journey together。Shiloh has three brothers Echo， River， and Phoenix， and they are a close-knit family of cops。 Their parents were Imperfect is the latest book from the Triple Canopy series filled with those families we have come to know and love from the 707 series and the Next Generation series。 We initially met Luke in Taking Liberty。 He's working for TC with Shiloh walks in wanting time on the gun range。 Shiloh is a SWAT officer， and she knows her weapons and how to use them。 So begins their journey together。Shiloh has three brothers Echo， River， and Phoenix， and they are a close-knit family of cops。 Their parents were not there for them， so the four siblings have banded together and are close。 The three brothers are wildly protective of their little sister even though she is on the SWAT team。 However， Shiloh's walls are much higher and have more barbed wire， and most people who encounter Shiloh run into that cold barbed wire， and that's how she keeps people out。 Luke meets it and decides， nope， and proceeds to tear it all down。What we get from there is pure Riley Edwards， as she spins us a delectable love story of healing， forgiving， loving， and moving on past things you have no control over。 Luke is strong and alpha and so very sweet and protective。 Shiloh is strong， tough， and a perfect match for Luke。 There is a suspenseful bit， steamy bits， and family bits where we get to meet up with all the characters we've come to know and love。 Liberty is still a total bada$$， and we get a bit more of her and Drake's story。 Plus， we've now all met Shiloh's brothers， and they all must have stories too。 They are all just too interesting to not。 All in all， Imperfect is a perfect addition to the Triple Canopy series， and I say all the time， please never let these characters go away。 。。。more

Imperfect is the 3rd book in the Triple Canopy series and I couldn't put this book down。 Not only does Riley Edwards write perfectly flawed Heroes， she excels in creating a imperfect heroine who is so broken that as a reader we couldn't help but want the perfect happy ending for her。Shiloh has so many layers to her and if one were to look at just the surface， she portrays herself as the cheerful， sassy and friendly person who is not afraid of living life to the fullest。 This is so much further f Imperfect is the 3rd book in the Triple Canopy series and I couldn't put this book down。 Not only does Riley Edwards write perfectly flawed Heroes， she excels in creating a imperfect heroine who is so broken that as a reader we couldn't help but want the perfect happy ending for her。Shiloh has so many layers to her and if one were to look at just the surface， she portrays herself as the cheerful， sassy and friendly person who is not afraid of living life to the fullest。 This is so much further from the truth and it took a special someone， a man like Luke to strip away the layers and burrow himself deep whilst refusing to let go。 He too have his own demons but for Shiloh， he slayed them all。This book drained me emotionally but in a good way because the pay off made up for all the tissue box that I went through when I was reading this book。 I cannot wait for the next book！ 。。。more

How is it possible for an author to write a literary masterpiece time after time？ Okay， I may be going a bit overboard with the whole “literary masterpiece” but to me， that’s what Riley Edwards books are。 Why do you ask？ Because they are so much more than just the words on the page。 They evoke emotions， engage your brain and leave you feeling empowered and informed。 At least that is what I feel after reading one of her books。 And her newest release Imperfect， the third book in her Triple Canopy How is it possible for an author to write a literary masterpiece time after time？ Okay， I may be going a bit overboard with the whole “literary masterpiece” but to me， that’s what Riley Edwards books are。 Why do you ask？ Because they are so much more than just the words on the page。 They evoke emotions， engage your brain and leave you feeling empowered and informed。 At least that is what I feel after reading one of her books。 And her newest release Imperfect， the third book in her Triple Canopy series， was no different。Yes， you have your alpha hero who’s sweet and caring yet bossy and of course HOT。 Of course， you also have your kick-butt heroine who’s tough and fierce but also smart and funny。 There’s drama， angst， and steamy scenes。 But there’s oh so much more。Luke Marcou and Shiloh Kent are real。 Yeah I know， they’re characters in a book。 How can they be real？ It’s their personalities。 It’s their fears。 It’s their emotions。 All things the reader can identify with。 Understand。 Embrace。 It’s following them through the ups and downs of everyday situations and seeing how they come to understand themselves and grow。 It’s that background hum of anticipation。 It’s a life lesson delivered so flawlessly that the reader has also come to understand and grow by the end of the book。Now don’t get me wrong。 The book isn’t this heavy tomb of emotional angst and enlightenment。 Riley Edwards has this uncanny ability to weave all of this into a great story。 She intersperses humor and snark。 She gives you romance and passion。 She gives you the whole package of a great romance novel。 And yes， she gives you a life lesson。 But with how the words leap off the page and intertwine themselves into your heart and psyche is done so flawlessly， the reader is all the better for reading the book。Now， this may seem like a biased review。 It’s not。 It’s the honest truth。 Still doubtful？ Then do yourself a favor。 Pick up a book by Riley Edwards。 I can guarantee that after that first one， you’ll pick them all up。 And yes， you will be better for having added Ms。 Edwards to your must-read author list。 。。。more
