Summary

Drew Marshall may have let me move into his spare bedroom while my house is being renovated, but don't think for one second his kindness comes without strings--big, ugly fake-relationship strings。 That's okay, though, Dr。 Andrew。 I'll agree to your terms, move into your house, and act like your girlfriend when the big day comes, but I also plan to make your life miserable--make you pay for what you did to me。 I may not be good at forgiving or forgetting, but I'm excellent at getting even。 Get ready to laugh until you cry with this sizzling, hilarious, closed-door romantic comedy!

I laughed the entire way through this *out loud* most of the time, which makes it hard when you are a 10pm to 6am reader and everyone else is sleeping。 I honestly haven't read a book that has made me crack up so often for a while。 The inner dialogue (even the spoken dialogue in some places) of Jessie is absolutely hilarious。 She is my inner-thoughts soul sister。 I would read this book again and again。 I laughed the entire way through this *out loud* most of the time, which makes it hard when you are a 10pm to 6am reader and everyone else is sleeping。 I honestly haven't read a book that has made me crack up so often for a while。 The inner dialogue (even the spoken dialogue in some places) of Jessie is absolutely hilarious。 She is my inner-thoughts soul sister。 I would read this book again and again。 。。。more

Ugh another hit from Sarah Adams! She has such a way of writing rom coms that suck you in from the first page。 This enemies to lovers is SO good - with funny laugh outloud pranks but also so many sweet tender moments that will bring tears to your eyes。 I definitely teared up multiple times - or am I just super emo because I'm 9 months pregnant like Jessie? HA!Seriously - her books are like brain candy and just what I needed after feeling like I've hit a bit of a slump with romance。 Ugh another hit from Sarah Adams! This book may be my favorite of Sarah Adam’s! Jessie and Drew’s love story felt so real to me。 Now the war was a little over the top but still fun-Jessie was ruthless! Drew made my heart melt even though I didn’t like how he acted in the first book。 So sweet and really capsized on moments of new love! (The song Arms by Christina Perri would go great with the story of this book if it ever became a movie!)

Thought this was an ok read。 The writing was great, but I felt like the book really dragged on and then felt really rushed at the end。

I have yet to read a romcom by Sarah Adams that I don't love and this one did not disappoint! I love her female characters, they are so full of life and feel so real and relatable。 The situations the love interests get into are perfect for a romcom and I find myself laughing out loud often。 This one seemed to have a bigger focus on sexual tension to me (I don't know if it actually did, it just felt that way as I was reading it) but there wasn't anything inappropriate or explicit。 There is closed I have yet to read a romcom by Sarah Adams that I don't love and this one did not disappoint! Ohhh So Good! I love it when a second book is just as good, if not better than the first。 I knew there was going to be fireworks a plenty in this enemies to lovers romance because never have two more prideful, stubborn people existed。 And it made for a hilarious read with their pranks and high jinks。 It also made it even more special once their walls came down and they trusted each other。 Drew was something special, even more swoon worthy than his bestie Cooper。 He holds his own when dealing wit Ohhh So Good! To be honest, I think my favorite couple is Drew and Jessie purely due to their banter and connection。 I’m totally ok with the closed door romance, I feel there’s enough lead up that I don’t need a blow by blow of what they did in the bedroom。 It is a nice change of pace。 I’m not sure if there will be more in this series but I hope and cross my fingers there will be another romcom from SA。 。。。more

Alllll the best parts of the enemies to lovers tropeWhen done well, this is my favorite of the tropes。 There’s something about two people who can’t stand each other and then slowly come to see past their own preconceptions to something greater。 And while there are a few parts of their lives I’m not totally a fan of, they aren’t me。 But they are great together and they make each other better。 Total closed door rom com fun。

I love these characters。 They are both such。。。 characters。 They both love pranking。 Each of them have thought processes that can take random tangents。 And the two of them bounce off of each other。 They both enjoy pushing each other's buttons and enjoy having their buttons pushed by the other。 I love these characters。 They are both such。。。 characters。 They both love pranking。 Each of them have thought processes that can take random tangents。 And the two of them bounce off of each other。 They both enjoy pushing each other's buttons and enjoy having their buttons pushed by the other。 。。。more

If I could have given this book 3。5 stars I would have。 Let me start off by saying that I love Sarah Adams。 I think her sweet, "closed-door romances" are comforting and her character's banter always has me laughing out loud。But, I'd be lying if I said this was my favorite of her books。 This story is enemies to lovers featuring two characters (Drew and Jessie) from The Off Limits Rule, which is the first book in this series。 I love it when authors bring back characters from a book earlier in the If I could have given this book 3。5 stars I would have。 Let me start off by saying that I love Sarah Adams。 I think her sweet, "closed-door romances" are comforting and her character's banter always has me laughing out loud。But, I'd be lying if I said this was my favorite of her books。 This story is enemies to lovers featuring two characters (Drew and Jessie) from The Off Limits Rule, which is the first book in this series。 I love it when authors bring back characters from a book earlier in the series, but there was something about Jessie that I didn't love as a main character。 She's fiery, sassy, and a soon-to-be single mama。On paper, that sounds exactly like my perfect heroine, but I just felt like in most of the book she was just angry all the time。 I would have really loved to see more of what makes Jessie tick rather than just her being angry for most of the book。I LOVED the prank war that occurred between Jessie and Drew so much and I always love the twist of close proximity in an enemies to lovers love story。Overall, I enjoyed this book and I think you would enjoy it if you're looking for something light and fluffy that will have you giggling until the end。Looking for more bookish content like this? please this book was so cute! like i always like Sarah Adams’ books but this one was my favorite, i think。 i loved watching jessie learn to trust and i love how it took majority of the book for her to do so, because i hate when authors make someone get over their issues too quickly as it doesn’t seem realistic。

I've determined that Sarah Adams is definitely my kind of writer。 Her humor is just perfect for me, a guaranteed laugh from her books。 This was a wonderful enemies to lovers, fake relationship romantic comedy。 It's full of so many pranks - which I won't lie, did annoy me in the beginning。 Some of them felt a little childish for me, and so at first my reading pace slowed down because I wasn't fully into the book, but right around the 50-60% mark, the *big* prank happens and all of a sudden I was I've determined that Sarah Adams is definitely my kind of writer。 Her humor is just perfect for me, a guaranteed laugh from her books。 This was a wonderful enemies to lovers, fake relationship romantic comedy。 It's full of so many pranks - which I won't lie, did annoy me in the beginning。 Some of them felt a little childish for me, and so at first my reading pace slowed down because I wasn't fully into the book, but right around the 50-60% mark, the *big* prank happens and all of a sudden I was hooked and things started to make so much more sense and I really enjoyed it, and I can't wait to pick up more books from this author。 。。。more

I have been looking forward to this book for weeks and it did not disappoint。 After the cliffhanger from book one, I needed to know Jessie’s story。 Jessie and Drew’s continued open hostility in the beginning was borderline annoying, but as they relaxed more into harmless pranks I found myself grinning from ear to ear。I know that if my sister acted like Jessie I’d tell her to grow up and act her age。 If my best friend acted like Jessie I’d also tell her to grow up and act her age— while giggling I have been looking forward to this book for weeks and it did not disappoint。 After the cliffhanger from book one, I needed to know Jessie’s story。 Jessie and Drew’s continued open hostility in the beginning was borderline annoying, but as they relaxed more into harmless pranks I found myself grinning from ear to ear。I know that if my sister acted like Jessie I’d tell her to grow up and act her age。 If my best friend acted like Jessie I’d also tell her to grow up and act her age— while giggling and helping her with every prank。 I really, really didn’t want to like her, but I just couldn’t help it。I found myself literally laughing out loud at multiple times at her one-liners and antics, and even read a passage or two to my husband。 He obviously doesn’t understand humor because he didn’t even break a smile。 He may have been annoyed that I was ignoring him in favor of my Kindle’s company。I feel like some of the best books start with characters I don’t want to like, but end with me loving them instead。 This was one of those books。🤓 Final thoughts: another winner that had me laughing out loud。🧼 Cleanliness: mild adult language, mild alcohol, steamy kisses 。。。more

Lots of doubting, but an entertaining readI really like Sarah Adams and her writing。 I loved the overall story of Jesse and Drew。 But, I will say that Jesse made me a little crazy with her doubting。 I get that she has been hurt, but I just found her to be a walking hypocrite in some ways。 She pushes Drew away because she falls in love with him from a picture and the doting words of his sister?
