The inspiration for this book was a collective discussion by the authors， husband and wife with two grown children， about each of the times in life， to this point， that they had either individually or collectively experienced the word NO to a question， an opportunity， or something they truly wanted in their hearts。 That discussion quickly made them aware that it was because of many NOs in life that they had been brought here， to this moment in life - full of blessings and with a realization that had they gotten yesses in those same situations， things would be so much different。 They found themselves giving thanks for the NOs and realizing without a doubt how powerful it is to NOT get what we think we want in moments along the way。 Britt McKinney， one of the authors provides more detail below。
