This review has been hidden because it contains spoilers。 To view it， click here。 1st story: kind of lame。 Newly wed ex-CIA agent is attacked with chemical weapon while on honeymoon in Germany。 Her husband is killed immediately but she has to fight to stay alive and find the killer。 Turns out to be her CIA mentor。 Being a short story it just seemed like one long suspense scene…2nd story: an ok storyline。 A computer security specialist must find terrorist hacker that has also threatened his family。 Turns out to be his client who owns a Microsoft equivalent company （Avalon） and 1st story: kind of lame。 Newly wed ex-CIA agent is attacked with chemical weapon while on honeymoon in Germany。 Her husband is killed immediately but she has to fight to stay alive and find the killer。 Turns out to be her CIA mentor。 Being a short story it just seemed like one long suspense scene…2nd story: an ok storyline。 A computer security specialist must find terrorist hacker that has also threatened his family。 Turns out to be his client who owns a Microsoft equivalent company （Avalon） and is carrying out terrorist attacks in order to get Avalon security （surveillance， etc） technology legalised。 Main character pretends to murder his own family to trick the bad guy then catches him。3rd story: also ok， and best out of the 3 imo。 The description on back book cover did not appear to be how the story turned out。 Russian maids are on the run from 1 of their crazy Russian mob husbands who has already had one of his sons murdered。 They hide out at their employers house （the female doctor）。 The Russian mobsters try to attack the house but are unsuccessful due to the neighbours calling the cops。Not long after that， the doctor’s drug addict son escapes rehab and attempts to murder his own mother for drug money （with 3 accomplices）。 The doctor survives。 The Russian maids kill at least 2 of the sons accomplices and the son dies in a car crash trying to escape。 The doctor also dies a week later due to her injuries from the attack and leaves her house to one of the Russian maids。 So the Russian mob story kind of died in the arse。 。。。more

I was disappointed in this book as it was actually 3 short stories of which James Patterson was the primary author and he had unknowns as the secondary authors。 The 1st 2 stories could have been great stand alones， but when they ended I said WHAT？ Next time I will read about the book more closely before I do this again。
