"Judging from the cover, I might cry," I say to the Barnes & Noble employee who hands me the book。 I didn't cry, but I came very close。 The only reason I didn't was because I was so wrapped up in the action, I couldn't stop reading。Kaminari gets a moment and I'm so proud of him。 Tokoyami gets a moment and I'm so proud of him。 Amajiki gets a moment and I'm so proud of him, even if he's embarrassed。 Go, my babies, go~!Then there's Mirko。 Goddamn, girl, I haven't seen a rabbit this savage since Wat "Judging from the cover, I might cry," I say to the Barnes & Noble employee who hands me the book。 I didn't cry, but I came very close。 The only reason I didn't was because I was so wrapped up in the action, I couldn't stop reading。Kaminari gets a moment and I'm so proud of him。 Tokoyami gets a moment and I'm so proud of him。 Amajiki gets a moment and I'm so proud of him, even if he's embarrassed。 Go, my babies, go~!Then there's Mirko。 Goddamn, girl, I haven't seen a rabbit this savage since Watership Down。 The phrase "slay queen" doesn't do her justice。But then there's Hawk and Twice and。。。 and。。。 AAH!!! I was absolutely terrified to start this。 The last volume left us on a cliffhanger, where a war was about to start, and nothing good comes from war。 We're on the precipice of a heroes vs villains war, and things are extremely tense。 Thanks to Hawks, the heroes have the information they need to surround the Paranormal Liberation Army's bases and begin their attack。After the heart wrenching event of Kurogiri/Oboro wheezing out, "Hospital," to his former friends in the last volume, we get to see wh I was absolutely terrified to start this。 The last volume left us on a cliffhanger, where a war was about to start, and nothing good comes from war。 We're on the precipice of a heroes vs villains war, and things are extremely tense。 Thanks to Hawks, the heroes have the information they need to surround the Paranormal Liberation Army's bases and begin their attack。After the heart wrenching event of Kurogiri/Oboro wheezing out, "Hospital," to his former friends in the last volume, we get to see what he meant。 We catch up with the mysterious doctor who's always been in the background, working for All For One, along with all his Nomu and Shigaraki。It all kicks off, and an all out battle begins。 It's utterly frightening。 The series has been getting progressively darker as it goes on, and there are both pro-heroes and U。A。 kids on the front lines, ready to give their lives to protect the peace that the villains threaten。 It was nice to see so many heroes, though, many of whom we've seen before, scattered about the series。 Both new and old faces appear, and it's sweet to see that most of the old faces haven't changed at all。 One hero in particular that stood out for me was Miruko。 Up until now, we've barely seen anything of her, but she's amazing! Such a powerful and confident hero who's not afraid to dive head first into battle。 You'd think that a bunny Quirk would be cute and sweet, but she packs a powerful stomp that gives the villains pause。 We also get to see some of the 'ships' coming to light that've previously been hinted at, in particular Denki Kaminari and Kyoka Jirou, which was really sweet, as well as more friendships between the U。A。 kids that haven't had time to shine yet, like Kaminari and Tokayami, and more of some 1-B students that we saw back in the Joint Training Arc。 Everyone gets their time to shine; heroes, kids, and villains, revealing abilities we haven't had the chance to see yet。The one event that stood out amongst the chaos of this volume was the Twice vs Hawks fight, as the awesome cover art displays。 It was so difficult to witness。 Hawks is just doing his job, but he sees the goodness in Twice。 Twice is probably my favourite My Hero Academia villain because he's so kind and loving, despite all the trauma he's been through and technically being a villain。 He just wants to protect his friends。 He cares so much, and it's painful to see him fight Hawks, distraught and in pain。Dabi gets thrown into the mix here too。 He's been getting more and more screen time, providing us with little details about him here and there, and showing off his personality, but my goodness, he's brutal。 He's surprisingly cold and very much a villain。 You can see he's like Spinner in the sense that he values Stain's ideals, but he appears very twisted and cruel, and it makes the other members of the League look like saints next to him。A death happens in this volume, and I am utterly heart broken。 One of my favourite characters died, and it was just so shocking and upsetting that I had to take a moment to let it sink in。 There are also some injuries with limbs lost and wounds that will leave ugly scars。 It just goes to show that this is a proper war。 People get hurt, and people die。 There's no coddling here。 I sped through this volume, but it took me a bit longer than usual to finish it because I had to go back and reread some parts as I was in utter shock, with my eyes bulging out of my skull and my jaw on the floor。 My emotions were everywhere when reading this。 It's made me both excited and terrified to pick up the next volume。 The war has only just begun, and I have a feeling it may only go downhill from here。My Blog 。。。more

This is like that scene in Avengers: Endgame where all the heroes show up to fight Thanos。 I loved it so so much。 At the same, there were so many heart-wrenching moments that I just could not stop crying。 I cried through this volume, both happy tears and sad tears。 That it all。 ( This is like that scene in Avengers: Endgame where all the heroes show up to fight Thanos。 I loved it so so much。 At the same, there were so many heart-wrenching moments that I just could not stop crying。 I cried through this volume, both happy tears and sad tears。 That it all。 ( 。。。more

A little hard to follow, but a super awesome volume。Building up into the final fight。 You get to see a lot of action from well liked villains, and more of the grown up heroes in this one and I am 10000% here for it。

A very quick volume to read。 The battle between the heroes and the Paranormal Liberation Front kicks off in earnest - one half go after the doctor who created the Nomu, while the other attack the PLF head-on, leading to a big confrontation between Hawks, Twice, and Dabi。 It was only when I got to the end of the volume that I realised we hadn't checked in with Midoriya at all, but everything going on was so compelling that I hardly noticed。 A very quick volume to read。 The battle between the heroes and the Paranormal Liberation Front kicks off in earnest - one half go after the doctor who created the Nomu, while the other attack the PLF head-on, leading to a big confrontation between Hawks, Twice, and Dabi。 It was only when I got to the end of the volume that I realised we hadn't checked in with Midoriya at all, but everything going on was so compelling that I hardly noticed。 。。。more

My Hero Academia, Vol。 27 continues where the previous tankōbon left off and contains the next nine chapters (259–267) of the on-going manga series。The students of U。A。 and the Pro Heroes join together in an all-out confrontation with the Paranormal Liberation Front (PLF)。 While within the PLF, Hawks continues to play a dangerous game as a double agent。 However, the villains have fearsome resources of their own, which centers on Maruata Shiga, Founder of Jaku General Hospital。 Meanwhile, Tomura My Hero Academia, Vol。 27 continues where the previous tankōbon left off and contains the next nine chapters (259–267) of the on-going manga series。The students of U。A。 and the Pro Heroes join together in an all-out confrontation with the Paranormal Liberation Front (PLF)。 While within the PLF, Hawks continues to play a dangerous game as a double agent。 However, the villains have fearsome resources of their own, which centers on Maruata Shiga, Founder of Jaku General Hospital。 Meanwhile, Tomura Shigaraki comes closer to his ultimate form。Kohei Horikoshi has written and illustrated this tankōbon。 It mainly covers the battle between the Heroes and the Paranormal Liberation Front, which have many focus from Endeavour – the current number one hero, Hawke – a double agent working for the Heroes, with numerous others in this huge and messy battle。All in all, My Hero Academia, Vol。 27 is a good continuation of the series that seems really intriguing and I can't wait to read what happens next。 。。。more

Holy shit, that was wild。 From start to finish it was full of action。 Both sides are finally coming together now and I'm excited to see how it pans out。 Seeing Heroes we've never seen before was great too, I'm hoping they last long enough to be fleshed out a bit more。With the Heroes and Villains coming together, I'm hoping Dabi's identity is finally revealed in the next volume (wink, wink)。P。S I really hope Mineta dies 'cause he literally does nothing。 Get outta here you pervy grape。Thanks to Ne Holy shit, that was wild。 From start to finish it was full of action。 Both sides are finally coming together now and I'm excited to see how it pans out。 Seeing Heroes we've never seen before was great too, I'm hoping they last long enough to be fleshed out a bit more。With the Heroes and Villains coming together, I'm hoping Dabi's identity is finally revealed in the next volume (wink, wink)。P。S I really hope Mineta dies 'cause he literally does nothing。 Get outta here you pervy grape。Thanks to Net Galley for providing me with an arc in exchange for an honest review。 。。。more
