I originally read this in the PiSA since I love these cyborgs and。。。 *heart eyes* And look！ Here I am again， cuddling up with the cyborgs and the women who love them。 And who love their horses。As it turns out， Rose has a special connection to the horses on Mars。 As the engineer who created them and then left GenCon because of the way they were treated， she has a massive soft spot for the big animals。 She might not have all the tools and materials she used to have， but she's still plying her trad I originally read this in the PiSA since I love these cyborgs and。。。 *heart eyes* And look！ Here I am again， cuddling up with the cyborgs and the women who love them。 And who love their horses。As it turns out， Rose has a special connection to the horses on Mars。 As the engineer who created them and then left GenCon because of the way they were treated， she has a massive soft spot for the big animals。 She might not have all the tools and materials she used to have， but she's still plying her trade as she tinkers with a robotic dog in her down time。When one of the cybernetic horses appears and leads her to a heavily damaged cyborg with no memory， Rose does what she needs to do to try to help the injured Ranger。 One thing leads to another and soon they're sharing more than space in her habitat。On Roy's end， his lack of memories leaves him a little twitchy。 He knows something happened to him， but not what。 Throw in his slow healing from his injuries （considering he's a cyborg， that's pretty much unheard of） and the simmering connection he feels toward Rose and the guy is dealing with some stuff。A （somewhat） dangerous planet， cybernetic animals who are more than just robots， a damaged cyborg， and a lady who's been on her own for a while。 *thumbs up*-Kelly @ Reading the Paranormal 。。。more

A very good short story set in the cyborgs on Mars world。 Rose designed and built the robotic horses that worked on Mars。 After a nasty dust storm she saw how one big horse had protected the others from the danger。 Her horses were becoming sentient。 When pressure was put on her by the company， rather that doing things their way， she quit and moved out in the boonies。 She has a good life there by herself working on Otis， her robotic dog。 Then one of her horses comes to her and manages to get her A very good short story set in the cyborgs on Mars world。 Rose designed and built the robotic horses that worked on Mars。 After a nasty dust storm she saw how one big horse had protected the others from the danger。 Her horses were becoming sentient。 When pressure was put on her by the company， rather that doing things their way， she quit and moved out in the boonies。 She has a good life there by herself working on Otis， her robotic dog。 Then one of her horses comes to her and manages to get her to go with him。 She finds an injured cyborg。 I really like this series。 The old west themes， robotics， and the connection between a cyborg and a human。 I enjoyed reading of Rose's initial fear of the cyborg with amnesia， her taking care of and naming her cyborg Roy， why is Roy not healing， danger and a HEA。 。。。more

Back to Mars。 I love the series。 This story is about the cyborg with no memory。Loved Bucephalus。 Even though he is a cyborg he understands and can reason that the MC Roy needed help。 Of course Otis is protective as well。 Roy and Rose have such great chemistry together。 Her willingness to help and her protectiveness of Roy while he was recovering was exactly what this story needed。 Of course the role reverses once he has recovered。 Fast paced from the first page。 Well written。 I love the HEA and Back to Mars。 I love the series。 This story is about the cyborg with no memory。Loved Bucephalus。 Even though he is a cyborg he understands and can reason that the MC Roy needed help。 Of course Otis is protective as well。 Roy and Rose have such great chemistry together。 Her willingness to help and her protectiveness of Roy while he was recovering was exactly what this story needed。 Of course the role reverses once he has recovered。 Fast paced from the first page。 Well written。 I love the HEA and of course no cliffhanger。 Honey has a way of bring out the best in her characters。 You can see the plains of Mars and feel the joys and frustration of the MCs。 I hope there are more cyborgs in the future。I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review。 。。。more
