This book is completely gorgeous。 Being Jewish myself， I don't know a lot about Islam and this book is a wonderful introduction to the community you might find in a mosque。 The text is simple and inviting， the illustrations completely stunning （my favorite is the page with the text， "I understand--we are all connected and come from the same Creator" with the mosaic that spreads out from a young girl's face and hijab）。 There is also some wonderful educational material in the back of the book that This book is completely gorgeous。 Being Jewish myself， I don't know a lot about Islam and this book is a wonderful introduction to the community you might find in a mosque。 The text is simple and inviting， the illustrations completely stunning （my favorite is the page with the text， "I understand--we are all connected and come from the same Creator" with the mosaic that spreads out from a young girl's face and hijab）。 There is also some wonderful educational material in the back of the book that talks about holy sites in Islam and famous mosques on various continents。This book is an utter gem。 I'm so glad I own a copy of my own to return to whenever I want to read it and appreciate its brilliant illustrations again。 。。。more
