This is a good crossover book。 ALl of your favorites are there。 The story is strong and the writing is good。 The relationships have grown and become closer。The history of using the vampire scare as reasoning for the start of this was a very good idea。 And the number of ghost is staggering。 This is not a real mystery and I am completely okay with that。 I was more interested in the characters interacting than solving a mystery。 My only complaint is what the resolution starts。 I mean is it along th This is a good crossover book。 ALl of your favorites are there。 The story is strong and the writing is good。 The relationships have grown and become closer。The history of using the vampire scare as reasoning for the start of this was a very good idea。 And the number of ghost is staggering。 This is not a real mystery and I am completely okay with that。 I was more interested in the characters interacting than solving a mystery。 My only complaint is what the resolution starts。 I mean is it along the lines of a slasher movies' (we need to stay together and they first chance they get someone goes off alone。) This one made me talk to the book。 I am not sure how it could have been corrected for it to make sense, or at least be logical but it did move the plot along in a way that it needed to move along so I am not mad about just annoyed。All in all it is a very good book。 。。。more

More Jon! More Mack!A mystery, a boatload of psychics, a little action, and some sex, too。You could read this book as a stand alone, and then go back and read the rest because they're all a lot of fun。 The story is self contained。 No cliffhangers。 More Jon! He had no purpose there, did he?o (view spoiler)[Where were the hearts buried? (hide spoiler)]o The reader needs to suspend disbelief to accept this many murders happened without anyone ever noticing anythingThe bad- Donovan was genuinely terrified of ghosts。 And everyone just kind of laughed at him and called him cute。 The poor guy was hyperventilating and almost had a full-on panic attack, and people still thought it was a good idea to ignore his severe phobia and drag him along to ghost-filled places Jon did not necessarily have to be。 Poor Donovan- In the prologue, Grant was talking to the aunt of a murder victim: a sixteen-year-old girl。 This aunt just found out her niece was dead not even ten minutes ago, and Grant thought: "Damn shame I was gay, otherwise I'd have found a way to get her number。" What the hell, Grant?! How can you even have a thought like this about a grieving loved one of a murdered child, minutes after she found out?- "With his Chinese-Vietnamese heritage, he'd turned out K-pop star cute。" Sho's Chinese-Vietnamese heritage makes him look like a cute Korean guy? That's some real "all Asians look the same" shit right there, wtfI finished this book, but definitely didn't enjoy it as much as Jon and Mack's previous books。 Grant's mishap in the prologue and that racist description of Sho really pulled me out of the story。 I did really enjoy Jon putting people in their place with his readings, and the ghosts getting their own revenge。 But I really felt horrible for Donovan, and this was definitely not as good as the other books in the series。 。。。more

So fun to be back with Jon and Mack! This big case was well paced and so interesting。 Lots of details and aspects that require involvement from nearly all the crossover characters。

really enjoyed!ParanormalRead in series for full enjoymentLow angst murder mystery with lots of laughs。Found family shenanigans。Really enjoy this world and these characters。

You have to read all of the previous novels in order to understand this。 I think there were far too many characters in here which made it very hard to keep track of everything。 The plot was interesting and unique with a unique resolution but honestly, way too many characters。

Angela

A good solid addition to the series。

interesting mystery and all characters get to shineA good job allowing two series to seamlessly blend together and make sense。 It wasn’t forced。 The mystery was really interesting。 I would’ve loved to have a bit more of the epilogue detail more on how the mystery and participants wrapped up。 Maybe the next book will do that。

I adore these couples!Jon and Donovan are absolutely perfect together abd Brandon and Mack are tooth numbingly sweet too。 Put both couples into one book and it's utterly perfect!!Jon and Don take a case for a missing girl, presumed dead and discover a field full of ghosts。 Good thing Brandon and Mack are in the process of moving there, and they can come help。 One ghost turns into a serial killer。 Never a dull moment when Jon is involved!I adore these books and can't wait to see what else is in s I adore these couples!Jon and Donovan are absolutely perfect together abd Brandon and Mack are tooth numbingly sweet too。 Put both couples into one book and it's utterly perfect!!Jon and Don take a case for a missing girl, presumed dead and discover a field full of ghosts。 Good thing Brandon and Mack are in the process of moving there, and they can come help。 One ghost turns into a serial killer。 Never a dull moment when Jon is involved!I adore these books and can't wait to see what else is in store for these couples。 。。。more

Fantastic CrossoverI’m a huge fan and Jon and Mack’s series are an automatic buy for me。 That being said this crossover was fantastic with a great story that really showed that strength is not measured by what someone can benchpress。 I love that AJ Sherwood’s character’s come in all shapes and sizes and the heroes are not always sting or fearless。 Love this book for the story and message。

Terrifying Tree TroublesYay have been looking forward to this crossover for so long。 Firstly, love that we are getting multiple POV’s。 Love the taster of Grant and seeing so many secondary characters。 It’s best to read the previous books in both the Jon and Mack’s series for all the story lines that’s have been building。 The way AJ composes a book is insane。 So much detail, plot twists and guessing as the the conclusion。 Poor Donovan。 AJ really enjoys torturing the poor manHeart racing moments b Terrifying Tree TroublesYay have been looking forward to this crossover for so long。 Firstly, love that we are getting multiple POV’s。 Love the taster of Grant and seeing so many secondary characters。 It’s best to read the previous books in both the Jon and Mack’s series for all the story lines that’s have been building。 The way AJ composes a book is insane。 So much detail, plot twists and guessing as the the conclusion。 Poor Donovan。 AJ really enjoys torturing the poor manHeart racing moments be this way! I looove your booksThey are lighthearted, they are suspenseful, they give us the deep connection to the characters that is the reason I love fanfiction - even the first in a series (which this was not)。 And the story is original and there is more to learn about the characters even though we know them so well already and they love themselves and each other in a way that makes me happy instead of envious which is nice。It is also lovely to know I never even have to wonder about the standard of writ I looove your booksThey are lighthearted, they are suspenseful, they give us the deep connection to the characters that is the reason I love fanfiction - even the first in a series (which this was not)。 And the story is original and there is more to learn about the characters even though we know them so well already and they love themselves and each other in a way that makes me happy instead of envious which is nice。It is also lovely to know I never even have to wonder about the standard of writing in your books, it is always excellent。I enjoy your use of tags。 。。。more

Amazing!!!I absolutely love this series!!! I did read Grant's book first thankfully so I knew who he was。 I loved that this book had everyone in it。 It was a really good read。 Some collaborations aren't put together well, like someone said it needed to happen and the author just churned it out。 This one was excellent though。 I loved all the different POVs too。 I am excited there will be another one and sad there Mack and Jon will only have one more each。 My fingers are crossed that Grant will ge Amazing!!!I absolutely love this series!!! I loved this crossover story, as it included all my favourite characters in one。 I felt sorry for Donovan because he really can't handle ghosts or anything spooky。 There were Ghosts everywhere so it's not like he could escape them。This is my favourite book in both series and it gets super spooky。 It's amazing how many ghosts there are, I felt for Mack, the man had a lot of ghosts on his hands。The Mystery kept me gripped and he also scared the life out of me。 They had a tough case on their hands, I loved this crossover story, as it included all my favourite characters in one。 I felt sorry for Donovan because he really can't handle ghosts or anything spooky。 There were Ghosts everywhere so it's not like he could escape them。This is my favourite book in both series and it gets super spooky。 It's amazing how many ghosts there are, I felt for Mack, the man had a lot of ghosts on his hands。The Mystery kept me gripped and he also scared the life out of me。 They had a tough case on their hands, which made the gang all get together。 It was great seeing so many familiar faces。 The side characters are always a delight to read about。 The whole case got me stumped and it was horrible。 All those poor people, you feel for what they went through。The thing that happened near the end had me so worried。 Jon was right when he said it was like one of those old tacky horror movies! Amazing ghost mystery I love that John was able to team up with Mack。 Poor Donovan had to deal with too many ghosts for his liking。 Interesting case that they had to deal with。 This series keeps getting better and better。
