Rollick to the rescue。This series is just so good， the second book here sees Riva and the guys struggle to find out more about their powers and how to control them。 We meet up with Rollick and Torrent who’ve we’ve met in a previous series， so good to see them helping the Shadowbloods。 We see here some of the Shadowkind unhappy with their presence， showing that whatever you are it’s so hard to escape prejudice。We focus a lot on Rivas relationships with the guys as she wrestles with her hurt feeli Rollick to the rescue。This series is just so good， the second book here sees Riva and the guys struggle to find out more about their powers and how to control them。 We meet up with Rollick and Torrent who’ve we’ve met in a previous series， so good to see them helping the Shadowbloods。 We see here some of the Shadowkind unhappy with their presence， showing that whatever you are it’s so hard to escape prejudice。We focus a lot on Rivas relationships with the guys as she wrestles with her hurt feelings and trust issues。 Nice to see some grovelling from them， especially Jacob。That ending tho， where are they and what’s happening？ Definitely want to find out who the mysterious stranger is。 。。。more

Riva and her men are back and we get to see a lot of development in their relationships in this book。 I love to see them coming slowly back together and working through years worth of mistrust and issues while trying to figure out the whole story。

Another great addition to this intriguing series。 There are more problems between Riva and her guys as she learns her new power。 Their search for answers leads them to Rollick and his spies。 More surprises are in store for them as they plan a rescue mission。 The cliffhanger will make you want to read the next book to find out what happens next。 Great story。I received an ARC copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving an honest review。

Rica and her men are back and hunting in this one。 Lots of action and danger as they try to get along with each other and with possible friends and allies。 Some issues need resolved and a few secrets to be learned。 A hot interesting story with lots of monsters around。 Enjoyed it。

Book two is just as gripping as the first one， and the cliffhanger ending is just as annoying。 Riva is not sure how the guys are going to take the demonstration of her new power， but it did save their lives。 Now they have to get to a safe place and regroup。 But where is that？ They try to find some of the "monsters" they were created to fight， but none of them seem to want to talk - they just disappear。 Finally， they are told to try Miami where a monster supposedly owns a hotel。 So they meet Roll Book two is just as gripping as the first one， and the cliffhanger ending is just as annoying。 Riva is not sure how the guys are going to take the demonstration of her new power， but it did save their lives。 Now they have to get to a safe place and regroup。 But where is that？ They try to find some of the "monsters" they were created to fight， but none of them seem to want to talk - they just disappear。 Finally， they are told to try Miami where a monster supposedly owns a hotel。 So they meet Rollick。Rollick is willing to try to help them， but first they need to get more of a handle on their powers。 But not all the shadowkind are as accommodating as Rollick， some of his minions would rather see the hybrids destroyed。 Along the way， they discover that there are more beings like them。 Now they have a new purpose， figuring out where the guardians are keeping them。 Meanwhile， Riva finds herself forgiving some of the guys。 But one is still avoiding her touch and another is still on her bad side。 Rollick and his shadowkind spies find some possible sites for guardian facilities and the group narrows it down to the most likely and plans a rescue mission。 There will be a shocking surprise。。。。I was given an advanced copy of this book by the author。 My review is voluntary。 。。。more
