slow burn is an understatement… i saw a review that said “no burn” and it’s pretty spot on。 this book had me at the start。。 i laughed， i smiled， i was interested。 It was funny until it wasn’t。 Jaz was just not funny and honestly annoying and mean。 I read it until page 260！！！！！ And had to give up。

Hmm it’s a good idea for a story， it was interesting in the beginning but then it just got boring， it all felt dragged out and the ML definitely didn’t deserve all that “hate” for so long so that was a bit annoying。 Still a cute read but just a bit lacking。

4。75 stars。 Super cute， loved this one！ Thought the characters were all quite well done， I enjoyed the crazy best friend and grumpy grandpa in addition to Fallon & Sawyer。 Could have used a little more spice IMO but the love story was very sweet。

I loved this book。 From the funny bantering between all the characters， to the sweet moments of love， this book was a page turner。 Sawyer， while rich， was a very down to earth guy on a run of bad luck。 He was humble and honest。 Fallon certainly gave him a run for his money。 As did her BFF。 I loved that they grounded him by calling him Julia。 Definitely a must read （or listen）。

I enjoyed this book pretty well…。the writing was good enough to get mostly sucked into the story。 I liked the two main characters and their chemistry， but did end up getting a little annoyed by the last minute miscommunication/makeup。 At least it was resolved pretty quickly at the end。 I also didn’t love that she was pregnant in the end， but at least it was saved for the epilogue。Thank you to NetGalley and Montlake for providing me access to this eARC for my honest opinion！

3⭐️ it was a VERY SLOW BURN but there were moments of joy sprinkled throughout。 Reading Sawyer’s POV Carrie’s me through this novel。 I found myself skimming many portions of dialogue but I loved the relationship between Sawyer and Sully。 Loved Fallon’s dads。 Did not like the unnecessary return of the ex near the end of the book but we will forgive。
