There is more drama and intrigue brewing for Lacey with her husband Robert disappearing and then serving her with divorce papers。 This leads Lacey along with her friends Thomas and Julie setting off to try to find Robert and get to the bottom of his disappearance and the mystery surrounding the photo。 Cannot wait to read the next book。I received an arc copy via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving an honest review。

Picking up where we left off in book 1， Lacey is even more determined to find out what her husband is hiding and why he suddenly disappears。 With the help of Thomas， who decides to stay in Southport to give Lacey support， and Julia， who wants to support her friend through the unfolding drama that Robert has created。I have to say， there were times I wanted to throw my kindle because Lacey stayed in denial so much that she didn't try to find clues in obvious places， such as his desk！ What about in Picking up where we left off in book 1， Lacey is even more determined to find out what her husband is hiding and why he suddenly disappears。 With the help of Thomas， who decides to stay in Southport to give Lacey support， and Julia， who wants to support her friend through the unfolding drama that Robert has created。I have to say， there were times I wanted to throw my kindle because Lacey stayed in denial so much that she didn't try to find clues in obvious places， such as his desk！ What about in the closet in his clothes？ WHAT ABOUT THE DESK？！ I love serials， especially now being diagnosed with ADHD。 It takes me about 20 minutes to read through these， which is perfect because my goal is to read for at least 20 minutes a day。 Counting down the days until Installment 3 comes out！ I received an ARC of The Southport Secret #2 via Booksprout。 All opinions are my own and do not reflect on my receiving an advance copy for review。 。。。more

This second book in the series was even better than the first。 With Lacey still trying to figure out what is going on with her husband behind the photo with him， a woman， and a baby we see her go through many emotions。 Now with her friend， Thomas， they are trying to get to water really is going on with her husband。 After 26 years of marriage， Lacy never expected Robert to have these secrets。I look forward to the next book to see the continuation of this story。
