This is supposed to be a murder-suicide but the case smells。 And not just because the dead potion maker lacks knowledge about the cure he supposedly created。 Jamie’s got a smoking crater of an office （and body）， a queen breathing down her neck， a witness clinging to life， and no answers。

Jamie and Henri are awesomeAnother amazing mystery that Jamie and Henri have to solve。 When the manager of the potion factory to cure consumption dies in an apparent murder-suicide， the Queen sends Jamie and friends to investigate。 So much fun！ Read this book！

Murder goes internationalJamie and Henri got to solve a mystery across several countries this time， the romance has kicked up several notches and previous minor characters are seeing more screen time。 I look forward to the next book。

As always a fantastic runaway adventure！OMG it started strong and just took off from there！ This new case has everything: bomb， sniffies， magical residue， mystery and total confusion。 The Queen has a boyfriend and we are introduced To a new group of characters and cultures！ All ending with a pizza party！ Can’t wait for their further adventures。 And Henry just propose already！

Another delightful entry in the series Jamie and Henri are right up there with Holmes and Watson， but in a universe where magic works。 Jamie is a cop from earth， kidnapped and transported to another world by an insane sorceress。 With no way home Jamie adapts to her new life and her new partner。 I absolutely adore Henri and so does Jamie。
