I love any type of book where you get multiple stories。 I love getting to try new to me author's and also reading some of my favorite author's at the same time。 This book was so perfect for that。 I read several new to me author's as well as author's I already love。 I really love that each story had a heat level and a synopsis before you even read the story。 The short description really made my day。 I wish more of the multi author books I read had that。 Because I've read many where you start the I love any type of book where you get multiple stories。 I love getting to try new to me author's and also reading some of my favorite author's at the same time。 This book was so perfect for that。 I read several new to me author's as well as author's I already love。 I really love that each story had a heat level and a synopsis before you even read the story。 The short description really made my day。 I wish more of the multi author books I read had that。 Because I've read many where you start the story and have no idea what is going to happen。 And I like the synopsis being there so much more then the guessing game。 Lol I also really loved how spread out these fairy tales are。 You don't have just the main fairy tales you have ones like the Pied Piper included as well。 It was so great to see the fairy tales you don't really get to see much of included in these stories！ Definitely recommend！ 。。。more

I absolutely LOVED Zoey Ellis' short story Call of the Dark Piper。 I could not get enough of it。 I love Zoey Ellis' strong female characters and in just a few short paragraphs， Tsia was well-established as a wonderfully strong female lead dealing confidently with some unsavory people within her village。。。 until the gorgeous magnetic Dark Piper showed up and threw her for a loop。 Zoey Ellis always does an amazing job at world-building and this short story was no exception。 I love carnal re-tellin I absolutely LOVED Zoey Ellis' short story Call of the Dark Piper。 I could not get enough of it。 I love Zoey Ellis' strong female characters and in just a few short paragraphs， Tsia was well-established as a wonderfully strong female lead dealing confidently with some unsavory people within her village。。。 until the gorgeous magnetic Dark Piper showed up and threw her for a loop。 Zoey Ellis always does an amazing job at world-building and this short story was no exception。 I love carnal re-tellings of fairy tales and the author brought it again with a deeply engaging story and darkly erotic scenes。 Her story had depth， suspense， and steamy scenes that held my attention until the satisfying end。。。 but I still wanted more！！ More fairy tale retellings from Zoey please！！！I plan to buy the paperback version of this anthology when it comes out so I can read all the authors' works properly。I received an ARC copy of this book and this is my honest review。 。。。more

I just finished the first story in this anthology， A。J。 Lancaster's Cinderella retelling （"How to Marry a Winged King"）， and as anyone who's read my book Touchstones knows， I have always been a skeptic when it comes to the Cinderella story。。。but this one was *lovely*。 I really believed in the romance， and it was just a perfectly done short story。 I'll come back to talk about more stories as I read them， but I wanted to post this first review now， especially since I know this anthology is on a sp I just finished the first story in this anthology， A。J。 Lancaster's Cinderella retelling （"How to Marry a Winged King"）， and as anyone who's read my book Touchstones knows， I have always been a skeptic when it comes to the Cinderella story。。。but this one was *lovely*。 I really believed in the romance， and it was just a perfectly done short story。 I'll come back to talk about more stories as I read them， but I wanted to post this first review now， especially since I know this anthology is on a special publication-week sale for 99c/99p - and that short story alone would certainly be worth the price。 Do snap it up if you like romantic fantasy！ 。。。more

Call of the dark piper by Zoey EllisI received and ARC copy for my honest review of the Retelling of Hamelin piper by Zoey Ellis。 This is a very short version retelling a very famous story。 In the town of Hamelin there is a plague of rats that has been devastating all in their path。 This the mayor is overwhelmed between the plague of rats and when obnoxious member of the council。 She has been pushed to quit the Mayor position she has held since her husband died inheriting the job to her。 And the Call of the dark piper by Zoey EllisI received and ARC copy for my honest review of the Retelling of Hamelin piper by Zoey Ellis。 This is a very short version retelling a very famous story。 In the town of Hamelin there is a plague of rats that has been devastating all in their path。 This the mayor is overwhelmed between the plague of rats and when obnoxious member of the council。 She has been pushed to quit the Mayor position she has held since her husband died inheriting the job to her。 And the plague has increased the pressure until a stranger came into town and promise to get rid of the rats for a considerable amount of money and 5 questions answered by Tsia。 She has no choice but to accept even when she feels the disdain from this stranger。 So this story goes and makes you wonder why he despises Tsia？ What is he going to ask？ Why does Tsia feel weak near him？ You will get your answers and a very steamy retelling of this well known story in an amusing and catching way by Zoey。 You will enjoy the story and the scorching disdain between the two main characters。 Enjoyable and quick to read。 。。。more
