I have to say, I love a book with all different interpretations of fairy tales especially for adults。 I loved that they used the candles for the level of spice and they did not disappoint。 This book won me over because not only did it give us sample writings for different authors but it gave us a little paragraph of what the authors like to write。 I would definitely take a chance on this book, didn't disappoint。 I have to say, I love a book with all different interpretations of fairy tales especially for adults。 I loved that they used the candles for the level of spice and they did not disappoint。 This book won me over because not only did it give us sample writings for different authors but it gave us a little paragraph of what the authors like to write。 I would definitely take a chance on this book, didn't disappoint。 。。。more

I thought the book was alright。 It's definitely a short read, with plenty of sex, and a revisiting of Hamelin。 It was an ok read。 Not too much substance to it, but that's how short reads are。 3。5 stars I thought the book was alright。 It's definitely a short read, with plenty of sex, and a revisiting of Hamelin。 It was an ok read。 Not too much substance to it, but that's how short reads are。 3。5 stars 。。。more

I absolutely LOVED Zoey Ellis' short story Call of the Dark Piper。 I could not get enough of it。 I love Zoey Ellis' strong female characters and in just a few short paragraphs, Tsia was well-established as a wonderfully strong female lead dealing confidently with some unsavory people within her village。。。 until the gorgeous magnetic Dark Piper showed up and threw her for a loop。 Zoey Ellis always does an amazing job at world-building and this short story was no exception。 I love carnal re-tellin I absolutely LOVED Zoey Ellis' short story Call of the Dark Piper。 I could not get enough of it。 I love Zoey Ellis' strong female characters and in just a few short paragraphs, Tsia was well-established as a wonderfully strong female lead dealing confidently with some unsavory people within her village。。。 until the gorgeous magnetic Dark Piper showed up and threw her for a loop。 Zoey Ellis always does an amazing job at world-building and this short story was no exception。 I love carnal re-tellings of fairy tales and the author brought it again with a deeply engaging story and darkly erotic scenes。 Her story had depth, suspense, and steamy scenes that held my attention until the satisfying end。。。 but I still wanted more!! More fairy tale retellings from Zoey please!!!I plan to buy the paperback version of this anthology when it comes out so I can read all the authors' works properly。I received an ARC copy of this book and this is my honest review。 。。。more

What is he going to ask? Why does Tsia feel weak near him? You will get your answers and a very steamy retelling of this well known story in an amusing and catching way by Zoey。 You will enjoy the story and the scorching disdain between the two main characters。 Enjoyable and quick to read。 。。。more

What’s the larger dynamic between the sidhe and other fae races - and with the human realm? What kind of queen will Ella - whose motivations for accepting the marriage seem strongly tied to her desire to be seen as more than a lowly human - actually be?But as much as I want more to read, at its core HtMaWK is fun, magical, and has just enough romance to make for a fully satisfying story。 Definitely recommend。 。。。more

Loved it!My interest was initially because of the author CM Nascosta and so loved her short but lovely retelling of Beauty & The Beast。 Loved the characters and as a big reader of all genre of books, felt even I would be happy for such a life as Marionette had chosen。 Your heart goes out to the Beast for his loss, but both are very knowing of what their arrangement was for。 Loved that he taught her the magic and both could have their HEA。 Was rather fun to read the return message to the Citadel! Who doesn't love a fairy tale retelling? Especially when those fairy tales got a glow up from the family-friendly Disney versions we remember from our childhoods。This 20 story anthology hits so many classics (Cinderella, Beauty and the Beast, The Little Mermaid, Rapunzel, Hansel & Gretel) and a few I was less familiar with (12 Dancing Princesses, Ondine, and a few others)。 Spice levels range from sweet to 🔥🔥 and I appreciated that those ratings were included at the front of every story, so you k Who doesn't love a fairy tale retelling?
