Shasta loves Nolt but he sees her as still way to young for him。 It was a little comical when he finally had his eyes opened to Shasta and their age difference didn't really matter anymore。 Loved one of the scenes when he was in the hospital - spoke his heart。 Seeing these two come together was so sweet。 Shasta loves Nolt but he sees her as still way to young for him。 It was a little comical when he finally had his eyes opened to Shasta and their age difference didn't really matter anymore。 Loved one of the scenes when he was in the hospital - spoke his heart。 Seeing these two come together was so sweet。 。。。more

Shasta and Nolt。A truly lovely story about two lost souls that fate will bring together it is so well written the book held my heart the whole time。 Shasta a true artist is facing one of life’s biggest heartbreak the possibility that what she loves the most will need to take a back seat。 Nolt is a man who is locked into the past。 I loved the Piece Makers。 This was pure pleasure to read written from the heart of a brilliant author this faith based tale is one I am happy to recommend。 I did receiv Shasta and Nolt。A truly lovely story about two lost souls that fate will bring together it is so well written the book held my heart the whole time。 Shasta a true artist is facing one of life’s biggest heartbreak the possibility that what she loves the most will need to take a back seat。 Nolt is a man who is locked into the past。 I loved the Piece Makers。 This was pure pleasure to read written from the heart of a brilliant author this faith based tale is one I am happy to recommend。 I did receive a free copy of this book and voluntarily chose to review it。 。。。more

I'm so enjoying this series, the stories and the characters。 I love the Piece Makers and all their matchmaking。 Nolt is stuck in the past。 Shasta is younger than him and has had a crush on him for years。 A lot happens before they are able to come to terms with their feelings。 A really great Christain read that I totally enjoyed。 I can wait for the next book。 I'm so enjoying this series, the stories and the characters。 I love the Piece Makers and all their matchmaking。 Nolt is stuck in the past。 Shasta is younger than him and has had a crush on him for years。 A lot happens before they are able to come to terms with their feelings。 A really great Christain read that I totally enjoyed。 I can wait for the next book。 。。。more

The Piece Makers were at it again trying to matchmake Shasta and Nolt。  It was interesting how Nolt was not interested at the time because he was still in love with Alana even though she moved on a long time ago。 I liked how both characters ended up having to help the other one and that they also really learned about the other's character and life。  I received an advance copy of this book and I willingly chose to write an honest review。 The Piece Makers were at it again trying to matchmake Shasta and Nolt。  It was interesting how Nolt was not interested at the time because he was still in love with Alana even though she moved on a long time ago。 I liked how both characters ended up having to help the other one and that they also really learned about the other's character and life。  I received an advance copy of this book and I willingly chose to write an honest review。 。。。more

Shasta is literally a starving artist, and Nolt is her best friends big brother。 She’s had a crush on him for pretty much forever。 Nolt thought he was a one woman man。。。and was still hung up on the fact that his high school sweetheart had married someone else。 Can circumstances and well-meaning relatives coordinate to get them together? A sweet and inspirational romance。A big thank you to the author for providing an ARC copy for me to proof and review。

Jessie Gussman gives us a perfect example of being stuck in a particular place in the past and not being able to move beyond it。 So many times people miss blessings that are right in front of them because they are still looking at what's behind them。 It's a good thing Nolt had the Piece Makers and his father ready to step in and help him see the light and face reality as it really was rather than what he imagined。 This is a great series。 It's clean and based on Christian principles! This is one of my faves of Jessie’s books and I’ve read almost all of them。 Nolt only sees Shasta as his baby sister’s best friend。 For goodness sakes she’s 12 years younger than him and his heart is forever taken by his first love, Alanna, sure she’ll eventually return。 Shasta a talented artist, a product of the foster care system, wishes for a family and town like Sadie has。 Enter the Piecemakers with their matchmaking ways, but Nolt is on to them and tells them this time will be an epic fail。 This is one of my faves of Jessie’s books and I’ve read almost all of them。 Nolt only sees Shasta as his baby sister’s best friend。 For goodness sakes she’s 12 years younger than him and his heart is forever taken by his first love, Alanna, sure she’ll eventually return。 Shasta a talented artist, a product of the foster care system, wishes for a family and town like Sadie has。 Enter the Piecemakers with their matchmaking ways, but Nolt is on to them and tells them this time will be an epic fail。 HA! I absolutely love this series! You don't have to read in any order, you get just the right amount of info in each book on characters of who's who。Those Piece Makers try their magic with Shasta and Nolt, I'll admit the title made me wonder if Charlene, Kathy, Vicki, and Teresa were off this time around, but having such a great supportive family could only be a plus。I can't wait to read Sadie's story and who she is coupled with。 I absolutely love this series!
