There are a lot of ways people think is the best writing style。 My favorite is always the kind of book that engages a young mind as well as an older one。 Easy to read and Wildly detailed， Shami Stovall has a great track record。 I want to say this is her 5th series， each one has it own unique feel and Academy Arcanist is no different。 Combining the magic and excitement of The Frith Guild Series （a great read about magic sea faring guilds that battle pirates and dastards） and mixing in the school There are a lot of ways people think is the best writing style。 My favorite is always the kind of book that engages a young mind as well as an older one。 Easy to read and Wildly detailed， Shami Stovall has a great track record。 I want to say this is her 5th series， each one has it own unique feel and Academy Arcanist is no different。 Combining the magic and excitement of The Frith Guild Series （a great read about magic sea faring guilds that battle pirates and dastards） and mixing in the school anxiety and antics that comes from being away from home for the first time。 These will be books I read over and over。 。。。more
