Summary

When snow shuts down Greg Heffley's middle school, his neighborhood transforms into a wintry battlefield。 Rival groups fight over territory, build massive snow forts, and stage epic snowball fights。 And in the crosshairs are Greg and his trusty best friend, Rowley Jefferson。

It's a fight for survival as Greg and Rowley navigate alliances, betrayals, and warring gangs in a neighborhood meltdown。 When the snow clears, will Greg and Rowley emerge as heroes? Or will they even survive to see another day?

It was a good book and I enjoyed it。

+1 star because the all-female Safety Patrol forced the boys to walk to school on the snow-covered sidewalk and let the girls walk in the clear street。

A bit too random for me to really enjoy, I can see this is an easy enough read to really motivate young readers。 Later in the story there are somewhat more interesting bits about suburban tribalism that leads to snowy warfare。

Jak na razie moja ulubiona z serii。 Śmieszna oraz relaksująca w jednym。 Po kilku cwaniaczkach, które nie przypadły mi jakoś bardzo do gustu ta książka poprawiła zdanie o serii。

I was dying of laughter through most of this。The fact that the hill for sledding got all the way serious to battles。。。had me dying。Kids definitely have a way of doing things。 And whats funny is that Greg and Rowley started the whole thing。 It just turned to chaos the more they got into it。Loved the evolution of one story using other things to elaborate about。Loved it。 Can't wait to read the next ones。 I was dying of laughter through most of this。The fact that the hill for sledding got all the way serious to battles。。。had me dying。Kids definitely have a way of doing things。 And whats funny is that Greg and Rowley started the whole thing。 It just turned to chaos the more they got into it。Loved the evolution of one story using other things to elaborate about。Loved it。 Can't wait to read the next ones。 。。。more

Let me confess,I love kids!I love how they always make cute stories to explain their deeds。 I enjoy listening those funny stories with their best friend at school。 So this book was like openly talking to a kid, observing the world as a kid, facing and solving the problems a kid, overall entering the mind of a kid。 In the end, all I have to say is, Normalize teenagers loving kids' books! This entry in the series has the silly whimsy of the original three books that many of the recent installments have been missing。

I liked this book because it's very interesting and funny and the story takes a lot of places and has so many themes。 It takes places like school home the whole neighborhood is picking sides with each other and is having battles with people。the kids were starting riots at the school the theme of this story was them to survive winter and all the neighborhood and school riots。 The entire snowball fight concludes when the plow finally goes through the street。 Later, Greg reflects that one of his sk I liked this book because it's very interesting and funny and the story takes a lot of places and has so many themes。 It takes places like school home the whole neighborhood is picking sides with each other and is having battles with people。the kids were starting riots at the school the theme of this story was them to survive winter and all the neighborhood and school riots。 The entire snowball fight concludes when the plow finally goes through the street。 Later, Greg reflects that one of his skills is to survive and persist through any scenario。 。。。more

I wasn’t a big fan of this and won’t be rushing to read another one。 The chapters were too long for reading one or two a night。 I found it a bit childish/silly too。 I mean, you can write a kids’ book that is clever and not childish。 The kids enjoyed it but they also love the movies。 All in all, mediocre, 3*。

This book made me nostalgic for my childhood in New Jersey, where I spent the winters playing outside in the snow and building snowmen (when the snow was good enough for it, which was rare)。 I don't remember him ever living on a hill though, with there being a big divide between those living on the hill & those on the bottom? And a list and description of all his neighbors, which I have felt should have been included in the first (few) book(s)。 I guess to continue this series, Jeff Kinney someti This book made me nostalgic for my childhood in New Jersey, where I spent the winters playing outside in the snow and building snowmen (when the snow was good enough for it, which was rare)。 I don't remember him ever living on a hill though, with there being a big divide between those living on the hill & those on the bottom? It doesn't seem like ever, since the intended audience is middle school。 Is there Diary of a Wimpy Kid fan-fic? lolWhile the last book they went on a getaway to a beach resort amidst winter, in this book, the family was back home, living through the cold winter。 I wonder what state the family lives in。 I think I only laughed out loud once, but still, I enjoyed the humor, and the book brought a few smiles to my face。My copy of the book that I got from the library seemed particularly dirty for some reason。 The front cover was covered in some black/gray substance, and I wasn't sure if it was part of the cover design。 Then inside there were food stains on some of the pages。 。。。more
