parte del fandom de Rina。 Bueno， ¿Cómo comienzo？， siento que para esta introducción de Gods， estuvo muy bien y planeada， si haz leído sus obras anteriores， suele meter muchos clichés que vas a reconocer:Nunca faltará el tan usado acantilado， donde comienza la historia de Glyndon y Killian。Rina mencionó ★★★/5 stars CP: Glyndon King y Killian CarsonDios， consumida por God of Malice y me Killian。Rina mencionó que GOM es uno de sus libros más oscuros， y presiento que se refiere a esa escena donde Killian fuerza a Glyndon a darle una mamada a cambio de que la salve （agresión sexual）， creo que eso pudo incomodar mucho a los lectores porque básicamente Glyn quería suicidarse y casi lo logra。 Killian se aprovecha de eso。 Yo me lo esperaba， por lo que no me chocó tanto， pero si me sentí asqueada。 Es entendible que odien a Killian por eso， pero vamos， es un psicópata， dudo que en ese momento estuviera pensando en ser alguna especie de héroe， desde el inicio fue anormal como el tomar fotos a Glyn， hay que recordar que no siente remordimiento o siente culpa。 Lo que sigue después de eso， es Glyndon yendo a la universidad con sus amigas de toda la vida （Ava y Cecily） como también Remington， Creighton， Brandon， Landon， Eli， etc。 Aparecen muchos hijos de los jinetes anteriores， y me gustó。 En GOM también tenemos la introducción de la mafia， no entendí mucho eso， pero estuvo interesante。 Más porque en el libro de Asherreina， Rai le dijo que tenia que volver a la mafia。 Mientras que REU es elegante， sofisticado y apesta a dinero aristocrático antiguo， The King's U tiene que ver con dinero nuevo， miradas agudas y auras amenazantes。Se nos dice específicamente que nos mantengamos alejados de ellos。Tan lejos como sea posible。 En conclusión， también está el otro grupito de The King's U， donde hay puros transtornaditos xD : Tenemos a nuestro protagonista que es el villano del libro; Killian Carson， Jeremy Volkov， Nikolai Sokolov y Gareth Carson （Hermano mayor de K）。Glyndon King: La protagonista del libro， nos presenta a una estudiante universitaria que estaba mentalmente inestable por el suicidio de su amigo Devlin y quería acompañarlo， no podía lidiar con su complejo de inferioridad por las comparaciones que hacían la gente， con mundialmente conocida Astrid o del desinteresado Lan o el meticuloso Bran。 Es por eso que amo más a Bran。 Sabe cómo ser un ancla。 Él sabe cómo ser un hermano。A diferencia de Lan。 Landon y Brandon King siendo los gemelos mayores， son totalmente opuestos， incluso hasta su forma de vestirse。 Glyndon es más unida a Bran que Lan， se mantienen alejados de Lan， ya que no normal， como si estuviera aburrido。 Bran también podría tener una historia， porque a diferencia de la falta de empatía de Lan， Bran suele ser más sensible， por lo que tiene aversión a los problemas， o huye de eso。 Jonathan dijo que Bran se parece a Alice， por lo que me preocupa que pueda caer a fondo。 Bran solo dibuja paisajes u otras cosas que no incluya humanos o animales， los que tienen ojos。 Nikolai le dice loto blanco， que yo sepa， los lotos blancos en las novelas chinas， son puros por fuera， pero por dentro pueden ser muy crueles， hipócritas， los que fingen ser buenos， odio a este tipo de personajes， pero bien Nikolai solo lo esté juzgando。 Killian Carson: Un estudiante de medicina con tan solo 19 años （a esta edad ya va por la mitad de su carrera （？？）， que tiene una vida perfecta en público， y por dentro escondía una psicopatía amenazante。Creo que sobre el protagonista hubo muchos huecos， o es porque toda la trama se hizo un revoltijo al presentar a tantos personajes que no se centró en la naturaleza de Killian a excepción de la crianza， al carecer de empatía comenzando con el experimento de una rata que asustó a su padres y terminar yendo a terapia。 Como este fue un poco más largo de lo normal， diré que estuve satisfecha con el final， porque se centra en el romance， aunque algunas cosas no me gustó， como Glyndon olvidándose todo rápido， y cuando le tiraban la pista， recién se ponía a tener miedo。 Me gusta leer los libros de Rina， porque son fáciles de leerlo， y como ya me acostumbré a su estilo， entonces los plot twist ya no me sorprenden。 1。 Ya no use los clichés repetidos por favor， aunque sea invierta o algo así。 Rezo que el de EliAva no sea similar a SilverCole， necesito cosas nuevas。 No más virgen PORFAVOR HELP FDJFAOSIFDUAI que me achoro con el mención de virgen BASTA， pero si el protagonista masculino lo es， AMARÍA JAJJAJA porque harta de que la prota no tenga experiencia GRRRRR。 Pero si veo que Rina está mejorando al cambiar algunas cosas， como incluir pov de Astrid， Levi y Asher。 De verdad era muy necesario para leer desde su perspectiva。 Antes de que se estrenara GOM， tenia miedo de que los padres de los protagonistas puedan haberlo cagado de alguna manera y podría decirse que si se hizo realidad。 Todos los padres escritos por Rina son los que más detesto （hay algunas excepciones）， pero acá fue lo contrario， y más por el cierre que le dió Rina a Asher que ni en su libro se da。 Asher fue uno de los personajes más planos que conocí del rinaverse。 Pero el señor Carson siendo maduro， terminó gustándome， hasta el punto de sentirme melancólica， porque se siente una gran diferencia， cuando dijo que no se pondría agresivo como antes， y que siempre antepondría a su familia。 Me llegó al corazón cuando Asher dijo eso。 Es consciente que sus palabras hizo daño a su hijo menor al decirle que es defectuoso a su esposa。 El pequeño Killian escuchó y comenzó a alejarse de su padre。 Asher no puso tampoco de su parte hasta que pasaron años y se disculpó porque le recordó a una persona que le hizo daño a él y a Reina。 Solo porque Arianna lo hizo， no significa que Killian lo haga， de hecho， es un psicópata que ama a su familia， sobre todo a Reina y se une Glyndon， puesto que es su ángel。 Estoy segura que con el tiempo podrán arreglar sus diferencias。 Entonces el señor Asher Carson， con ese pov， simplemente llegué a amarlo。 HABLEMOS DE SHIPPS:Tengo tres shipps que me interesaron y obviamente son personajes que se caen mal del 0rt0 en el canon JAJAJJANikolai my favorite， but at some point they went downhill， with a few that were hot mess。 GOM was rather good。 I obviously had some pros and cons with this so I will start with my pros:Pros:1。 Interesting characters and development。 It was clear a lot of thought was put into the development of these characters setting up the future of the series。 2。 Killian was very well developed。 3。 The Devoured it in a day。 I have been reading Rina Kent's novels since the beginning。 Her Royal Elite series were by far my favorite， but at some point they went downhill， with a few that were hot mess。 GOM was rather good。 I obviously had some pros and cons with this so I will start with my pros:Pros:1。 Interesting characters and development。 It was clear a lot of thought was put into the development of these characters setting up the future of the series。 2。 Killian was very well developed。 3。 The sex scenes were hot and also fucked up。 The shock factor was there。 Definitely heed the trigger warnings。 4。 The writing was very well crafted。 It drew you in。 Now some cons1。 Glyndon was not as developed or interesting。 The author spent more time developing Killian than Glyndon。 I am fairly certain we got more POV from Killian than Glyndon。 This was kind of an issue for me because I want a heroine I could respect。 I just didn't respect her at all because she struck me as awfully empty as a person。 There were some moments that she had a backbone， but then it kind of dissipated and she went back to being this empty character。 I failed to connect to her as a character。 The only time I did respect her and simultaneously did not was when she decided to go to the initiation， but had no plan going in to investigate Devlin's death？ Like she did no reconnaissance or any research。 She just went and had no plan going in which struck me as dumb， but it was also one of the few moments she decided to do something about her inner demons。 Towards the end when Devlin goes after her， he beats the living shit out of her， and Killian goes after him。 I actually wanted Glyndon to go after him， but in the bigger scheme of things， she was completely ineffectual in preventing a war。 2。 I feel like the side characters gave more life to Glyndon than the main character。 I also don't know any nineteen/eighteen/seventeen year olds like Ava and Annika who act that childish。 That was the only aspect that kind of annoyed me。 3。 Plot was very rushed？ Not well developed IMO。 Extremely unrealistic to believe that Killian is a nineteen year old medical student genius， but had all the time in the world to go after Glyndon who is an arts major。 The secret societies thing also felt a bit childish。 There was just a lot happening， like she stuffed quite a few tropes together。 We had mafia， underground fighting ring， elite college/secret societies， setting。 Instead of stuffing so many tropes or building so many aspects， it might have been better if she stuck to one sort of "landscape" and developed that well。 Additionally， some of these scenes seem borrowed from her other books， like from Aurora and Johnathan's story and I believe Ronan's story， as well as from Naomi's story。 Honestly， I was reminded of reading their books。 Also Killian， Gareth， Jeremy and Nikolai remind me similarly of Aiden， Ronan， Cole and Nash， just recycled。 4。 It is implied that there might be a bisexual couple or gay couple here， with Nikolai， Brandon and possibly Annika？ But to me it's not immediately clear。 This uncertainty may be meant to tease the readers but I couldn't help wonder if it was queer baiting？ She hasn't introduced this dynamic in any other of her previous books。 5。 The author I am not even sure did proper research on those who suffer from suicide/depression。 They way it was weaved in reminded me of simply being used as a plot device to make Glyndon appear as if she has some issues。 She could have developed Glyndon's sense of inferiority better to lead it to her suicidal thoughts。 It was clear however that she did do research on those who are deemed a psychopath/sociopath though with the way she narrates Killian's inner monologue。 She did a phenomenal job discussing and integrating Killian's personality as he discovers his feelings for Glyndon， which makes me believe she was lax on Glyndon's side of things。 6。 Killian and Glyndon having the same conversations and using the same phrases。 Example "Confiscate control"， "Blood on cock"， and repeatedly telling Glyndon that he will kill whoever she decides to leave him for and fuck her in their blood or make her watch。 It's fine the first time or even twice but this was constantly mentioned。 Remi was weird with his constant "lordship"。 Overall this was a pretty good read and a strong start to a series。 I will continue to read the rest to see if it improves。 I am actually anticipating Ava and Eli's story and possibly whoever Cecily is paired up with。 。。。more

Es un muy buen libro aunque no es para todos 🚩🚩Rina supo juntar muy bien la nueva como la vieja generación， al principio fue un poco fuerte pero conforme avanza te vas acostumbrando y puedes disfrutarlo。Todos los nuevos personajes son realmente agradables y no puedo esperar por sus libros。
