It’s dark behind the curtain。This book was a fantastic follow-up to Rooksgrave， and if I may be so bold I believe it’s even better。 Fans of Kathryn Moon know that while she often serves up sweet and sexy stories， she’s also not afraid to explore some dark territory， and that’s what we find in CoF。 Hazel is the sadder but wiser actress from the theater （you will recognize it immediately from ALORM） who has been working there for 8 years。 She’s a little beat down by the world at this point， but wh It’s dark behind the curtain。This book was a fantastic follow-up to Rooksgrave， and if I may be so bold I believe it’s even better。 Fans of Kathryn Moon know that while she often serves up sweet and sexy stories， she’s also not afraid to explore some dark territory， and that’s what we find in CoF。 Hazel is the sadder but wiser actress from the theater （you will recognize it immediately from ALORM） who has been working there for 8 years。 She’s a little beat down by the world at this point， but when a mysterious competitor sends in a new guest performer， Hazel’s forced to improvise。 We are reunited with Hunter from Rooksgrave， and meet four （or should I say five） other incredible gentlemen all existing at the edges of Hazel’s world。 There’s murder and mystery， combined with an intricate plot and super hot spice makes this one incredible journey。 CoF is an absolutely wild and slightly darker dive into Moon’s Victorian age of monsters that focuses on more serious themes than Rooksgrave。 Like Baby and Lola before them， Esther and Hazel are foils who reveal slightly opposing POVs in this richly written world。 I cannot wait for the next installment in this series！ 。。。more

The Company of Fiends is just so amazing。！ It is in the same world as A Lady of Rooksgrave Manor。 I would read both for full enjoyment。 Kathryn Moon has the ability to create a world that you fall into and don't want to leave。Hazel Nix is one of my new favorite MCs。 She is a performer in the Theater。 She is so well written。 She is strong and sassy but so caring and loving as well。 Each "Monster " she is involved with is written with their own voice and you really get a feel for each of them。 No The Company of Fiends is just so amazing。！ It is in the same world as A Lady of Rooksgrave Manor。 I would read both for full enjoyment。 Kathryn Moon has the ability to create a world that you fall into and don't want to leave。Hazel Nix is one of my new favorite MCs。 She is a performer in the Theater。 She is so well written。 She is strong and sassy but so caring and loving as well。 Each "Monster " she is involved with is written with their own voice and you really get a feel for each of them。 Not that we pick favorites because they are all amazing but I do adore how Hunter treats Hazel。 There is also the mystery that needs to be solved。 This story is a Why Choose RH with characters that are more than meets the eye。 Don't worry the steam is everything you expect and then some！ They will get their happy ending but they have to go through a journey to get there。 Join them and you won't regret it！！！！ 。。。more

This review has been hidden because it contains spoilers。 To view it， click here。 We didn't think it was possible to enjoy anyone more than Ester and her entourage， but helloooo Hazel and company。 Hazel has a secret she keeps close to her chest， that makes her exceptionally good at what she does in the hidden monsters only theater。 She is a fan favorite in the 𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗽𝗮𝗻𝘆 𝗼𝗳 𝗙𝗶𝗲𝗻𝗱𝘀， and it is so clear why。 She's lovable， smart， kind， and has genuine affection for creatures that others might not。 As one of the longest serving members， she has seen her fair share of monsters。 But n We didn't think it was possible to enjoy anyone more than Ester and her entourage， but helloooo Hazel and company。 Hazel has a secret she keeps close to her chest， that makes her exceptionally good at what she does in the hidden monsters only theater。 She is a fan favorite in the 𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗽𝗮𝗻𝘆 𝗼𝗳 𝗙𝗶𝗲𝗻𝗱𝘀， and it is so clear why。 She's lovable， smart， kind， and has genuine affection for creatures that others might not。 As one of the longest serving members， she has seen her fair share of monsters。 But nothing can prepare her for 𝘁𝗵𝗲𝘀𝗲 monsters。 𝙏𝙃𝙀𝙎𝙀 𝙈𝙀𝙉 🥵 We did not expect to ever be lusting after an orc but 𝚑𝚎𝚛𝚎 𝚠𝚎 𝚊𝚛𝚎。 Hunter， in particular， won us over immediately。 Hunter was as they called him in the end， "𝘿𝙖𝙙𝙙𝙮" 😅。 Ronan was the much needed comic relief。 Nireas was the gentle giant who always watched her from afar。 Constantine （and Con & Antin） were the danger she didn't know she craved。 And Jude was the home she didn't know she had。 All of these men brought something different out in Hazel， and in turn they each gave her something she needed。 That's one of the reasons we love Kathryn so much。 She takes people/things/creatures and writes them so well that we can't help but to fall in love， regardless if it's in the realm of the "norm"。 Plus she can write a group scene like 𝗡𝗢𝗕𝗢𝗗𝗬 𝗘𝗟𝗦𝗘 🥵😅 We cannot WAIT for the third and final installment of the Tempting Monsters series！ We 𝘮𝘢𝘺 already have ideas of who will be in it 👀Also be sure to check out her website for character candles！ We personally own some and 𝗛𝗢𝗧 𝗗𝗔𝗠𝗡 are they amazing！ For fans of her books， it really makes the story come to life！ 。。。more
