It brings up warm and fuzzy small town vibes and it's just perfect。 The style of the artwork is brilliant and now, I want a cupcake。 LOL。Second, who doesn't love stories about second chances? Friends-to-lovers? Who hasn't felt the sting of regret from an unspoken crush? Oh how I love fiction。 The story is well written and plotted out。 The authors did a great job working together to produce a lovely story。Third, the main characters are perfectly flawed and need healing。 They are dealing with their own serious issues and emotions, which make them very relatable and sympathetic。 Their chemistry is also swoon worthy ;)Fourth, the Touch of the Divine and the message of God's love is woven throughout and doesn't shy away from the tough subjects。Highly recommend this charming small town story with so much heart and soul。P。S。 LK and Ruby are some of my favorite characters。 Watch out for that cookie recipe。My thanks to the author and publisher for providing me with an ARC of the book。 All opinions expressed here are entirely my own。 No positive review was expected and no compensation received。 。。。more

Amazing book。Welcome back to Hearts Bend, TN。 A wonderful story of finding love and forgiveness。 A great tale of finding love in places you don't think you can find it。 When God moves Chloe and Sam on paths they didn't see and it brings them to what they were looking for, who will bend first? What a wonderful story! Having read some other books set in Hearts Bend, it was fun to come across a few familiar characters。 However, if you haven’t read any other books in this setting, don’t worry, One Fine Day can be enjoyed as a stand alone novel。I really liked these two main characters! I liked that Sam and Chloe fell back into their friendship quickly upon meeting each other again。 However, the sparks of attraction between the two soon led to a tender and growing connection between them。 What a wonderful story! Hauck and Padgett recreate the small town of Hearts Bend first introduced in Hauck’s Wedding Collection (Wedding Dress Shop, etc。)。 But one does not need to read those earlier books to enjoy this one。 It is a standalone novel that sets up the new series co-written by Hauck and debut authors。 Hauck provides the framework (and there are cameos of her Heart Bend characters), but Padgett does an excellent job of taking the recipe and making it her own。 Sam buys the bakery where Chloe was recently hired, setting up interesting dynamics as they navigate their relationship。 Sam and Chloe have a second chance at love but only if they can leave the past behind and embrace God’s healing。 Faith elements, clean romance, and small-town charm combine to make this a recipe for a happily-ever-after。Recommended for fans of Susan May Warren’s Deep Haven Collection, as well as Suzanne Woods Fisher’s The Sweet Life, Denise Hunter, Irene Hannon’s Hope Harbor series, and Courtney Walsh。Disclaimer: Book reviews are my honest opinion of books I either purchased or received free of cost from the publishers, publicists, and/or authors。 。。。more

A charming, delightful read。 I enjoy reading about old friends coming back together and falling in love, and the chemistry between the two main characters is great。 I did think the reason that Chloe returned home was to be there for her mom during her illness, but that was just pushed to the side。 She wasn't ever really there for her。 I felt like the story was a little predictable, but still a sweet ending。 I received a complimentary copy of this book。 All opinions are my own。 A charming, delightful read。 I enjoy reading about old friends coming back together and falling in love, and the chemistry between the two main characters is great。 I did think the reason that Chloe returned home was to be there for her mom during her illness, but that was just pushed to the side。 She wasn't ever really there for her。 I felt like the story was a little predictable, but still a sweet ending。 I received a complimentary copy of this book。 All opinions are my own。 。。。more

I absolutely adored this book! Rachel Hauck has been one of my favorite authors since I first picked up a book by her and was brought into her beautiful stories and engaging writing, so I couldn’t help but be excited when I saw she had a new book that she wrote with Carrie Padgett。This book was everything I hoped for and needed。 It was sweet and light but meaningful。 One thing I love about Rachel’s Christian fiction novels is how she weaves in the message of faith and I can feel Gods presence th I absolutely adored this book! All thoughts and opinions are my own。 。。。more

Chloe and Sam were wonderful, solid characters。 Their struggles were not familiar to me but their healing journey is so inspirational。 I received a complimentary digital copy of the book from the publisher。 A positive review was not required。 All views and opinions are my own。 。。。more
