Hot summer nights。This is my first Miami Nights novel， so I was not privy to the build-up between Nico and Sofia。 However， I didn't feel that I needed it。Nico has a reputation of being quite the player and is described by his family as "toxic" towards women， so it is understandably a big surprise that Sofia who is recovering from an abusive soon-to-be ex-husband is drawn to him。 However， Marie Force makes it work。I wasn't as enthralled in the storyline as others seemed to be， but this was a good Hot summer nights。This is my first Miami Nights novel， so I was not privy to the build-up between Nico and Sofia。 However， I didn't feel that I needed it。Nico has a reputation of being quite the player and is described by his family as "toxic" towards women， so it is understandably a big surprise that Sofia who is recovering from an abusive soon-to-be ex-husband is drawn to him。 However， Marie Force makes it work。I wasn't as enthralled in the storyline as others seemed to be， but this was a good novel with plenty of action and seeing Nico become a better person for Sofia and Mateo was heart-warming。I voluntarily requested and read an advance reader copy。 。。。more

Nico and Sophia have an instant attraction and this is their story。 I loved it， seeing Nico fall for both Sophia and Mateo is just what I was hoping for。 Its filled with edge of the seat excitement and stress along with pure romance。 Getting to catch up with the first three couples was an added bonus。From page one to the end I was riveted by the action， the characters and the dialogue。 A great addition to this wonderful series。
