Summary

Belly has always lived for the summertime because it means all her favorite things: swimming, the beach and the Fisher boys, Conrad and Jeremiah。 She has spent every summer with them at Cousins Beach for as long as she can remember。 She has always been in love with Conrad and finally, one summer, it seems like he might have feelings for her too。 But it turns out, so does Jeremiah。

As the summers go on, Belly has to choose between two brothers who love her as she comes to the realization that she will have to break one of their hearts。

For the first time, all three Summer novels are in one collection, including The Summer I Turned Pretty, It's Not Summer Without You and We'll Always Have Summer。

I read these books one after another。 These books are so good。 I have read the To All The Boys I've Loved Before series and wanted to read more by her and this series did not disappoint。 The main character, Belly, loves the two Fisher boys。 She ends up loving both boys for different reasons。 When Belly returns to the beach house after years of not being there, after the Fisher's mom dies, she finally realizes which Fisher boy she should be with。 Mrs。 Fisher helps her figure it out。 I always read I read these books one after another。 These books are so good。 I have read the To All The Boys I've Loved Before series and wanted to read more by her and this series did not disappoint。 The main character, Belly, loves the two Fisher boys。 She ends up loving both boys for different reasons。 When Belly returns to the beach house after years of not being there, after the Fisher's mom dies, she finally realizes which Fisher boy she should be with。 Mrs。 Fisher helps her figure it out。 I always read it halfway through the summer and will be recommending it to all my friends who love romance。 。。。more

I read this trilogy last week and I’m OBSESSED。 It’s so perfect in every way and it gives off such amazing Summer vibes。 I live for Belly and Conrad and I’m SO excited for the show。 It gets really sad but then really happy and put me on an emotional roller coaster until the very last page。 This trilogy is a MUST READ。

This trilogy was hard for me to get into。 I wanted to love this so so much, but it just wasn’t it for me。 I though the love triangle was dull and Belly was a brat。 But I will forever love Jenny Han and can’t wait to read more from her。

I understand, Conrad's the 'bad boy' with communication problems, but it was SO annoying when one minute he'd be ignoring Belly and being a shitty boyfriend but then confess his love to her the next minute。 And when he told Jere that it was okay for him to go after Belly, but then try to break up their wedding by confessing his love for Belly?? (loved that scene though。) Taylor was right when she said that every time he had Belly, he took her for granted, but wanted her back when she found someone better。 I liked him, but wasn't really in LOVE with him like I thought I'd be。Now Jeremiah is different。 He's the 'good boy' in the triangle, the one she was supposed to go for。 And I was rooting for them。 But I seriously don't understand how the boy who was head-over-heels in love with Isabel Conklin could cheat on her that easily?? Idk how Belly forgave him that easily。 But, I did feel for him when she would consistently reject him for his ass of a brother。 I liked Jeremiah more than Conrad in the first two books, but the last book, I didn't really love him as much anymore。 I love Belly。 She, Laurel, Steven, Cameron, and Beck were my favorites。 But, she was so whiny in some parts and literally was so ungrateful。 And the only reason she wanted to marry Jere was to prove a point to herself; that she wasn't still in love with his older brother。 I literally wanted to rip my hair out。 She was NINETEEN。 Anyways, I still loved her regardless。 I loved the books, just the inconsistencies in the characters made me a little mad。Yes, people change a lot, and not everyone's perfect。 But the way the two boys changed throughout the series was so odd to me。 。。。more

This review has been hidden because it contains spoilers。 To view it, click here。 I love the Summer trilogy, but I kind of feel like Belly could have been a better character throughout the trilogy。 I feel like she could have had more depth because the plot was utterly amazing (I cried for days when Beck died PLEASE DON'T DO THAT EVER AGAIN) but she lacked the dimension she could have had。Also, ummm JEREMIAH????? I thought you were a NICE GUY but REALLY??? and then PROPOSING??? And tsk tsk to Belly for saying yes, knowing good and well her heart wasn't really in it。 Although I I love the Summer trilogy, but I kind of feel like Belly could have been a better character throughout the trilogy。 I feel like she could have had more depth because the plot was utterly amazing (I cried for days when Beck died PLEASE DON'T DO THAT EVER AGAIN) but she lacked the dimension she could have had。Also, ummm JEREMIAH????? Honestly this book series was the start of my bookworm origin。it was funny and relatable, with also a drama which kept me on my toes。 At times Belly did infuriate me and honestly I didn’t really agree with the swap and change between brothers scenario, I mean sure it created a lot of angst and I was gripped, but I still found it a lil… idk weird? But what can I say, it’s a love hate relationship, do I love the love interests?Yes, one being the mysterious Broody brother with the “I’m in love with Honestly this book series was the start of my bookworm origin。it was funny and relatable, with also a drama which kept me on my toes。 At times Belly did infuriate me and honestly I didn’t really agree with the swap and change between brothers scenario, I mean sure it created a lot of angst and I was gripped, but I still found it a lil… idk weird? Whole plot is based on her turning pretty。 So much emphasis is put on her physical appearance and the advantages — “pretty privilege” has brought for her, especially regarding her luck with two brothers。 She spends the trilogy chasing after them, and from there I got so much second hand embarrassment。 The first brother at first wanted nothing to do with her so she shamelessly pursues him until he finally gives in。 It’s creepy and stalker-esque。 She has absolutely no self confidence and no value Whole plot is based on her turning pretty。 So much emphasis is put on her physical appearance and the advantages — “pretty privilege” has brought for her, especially regarding her luck with two brothers。 She spends the trilogy chasing after them, and from there I got so much second hand embarrassment。 The first brother at first wanted nothing to do with her so she shamelessly pursues him until he finally gives in。 It’s creepy and stalker-esque。 She has absolutely no self confidence and no value of her own individual self worth。 She backstabs her best friend when she finds it helpful to further her relationship with said brothers。 It is everything wrong with young adult romance novels。 。。。more

This review i based on how i feel, not an objective assessment of the literary merits and demerits of this book。 It's my rating, i can give howmuchever i want。 Screw you, book。 I am not even going to give you the dignity of being reviewed individually by book, im just gonna fo it for the entire trilogy。 There is simply no life in this book。It all felt like one uninterrupted soap opera anyway。 I ask the world to give me a feel good romcom, and my goddamn fate led me to this anti feel good travest This review i based on how i feel, not an objective assessment of the literary merits and demerits of this book。 It's my rating, i can give howmuchever i want。 Screw you, book。 I am not even going to give you the dignity of being reviewed individually by book, im just gonna fo it for the entire trilogy。 There is simply no life in this book。It all felt like one uninterrupted soap opera anyway。 I ask the world to give me a feel good romcom, and my goddamn fate led me to this anti feel good travesty。 Although why never could stop reading it I'll never know。 Probably bcuz i kept hoping there would some more explanation coming for the shit that goes on, but in vain。 Please don't play with the feelings of readers, without giving proper emotional payoff, and merely eliciting emotions for the sake of it。 It's not cool。 That's low。 You bring up random childhood memories to serve your purposes to skew readers perspective on the ongoing events。 That's just messed up。 This whole story is messed up and convuluted and bloated and simply a waste of my fuckin time。 You have take us through the jounrey in a proper and thorough manner, not bring up events and memories that may be brilliantly written in isolation but do not let us in completely。 You're shutting us out of the character's minds, you're not giving us the whole thing。 But you expect us to be invested entirely。 This is a novel, not some cheesy collection of poems on love。 But it always felt more like the latter than the former。 。。。more
