Heartland Mistletoe Thank you, Jessie, for another entertaining book。 Lincoln and Annie got off to a rough start but seemed to recover nicely。 The first time they meet Lincoln thinks Annie is vandalizing her brother’s house。 The second time they meet Annie thinks Lincoln is a thief and possible serial killer。 Once they sorted the misunderstandings things seemed to go better。 Will they be able to find their happily ever after?
Sherry,
I really enjoIyed this book。 Annie and Lincoln make such a great couple。 Their first meeting didn't go so well and he has the scars to prove it。 She is a truly caring person that not only takes care of her grandparents, but also looks out for her elderly neighbors。 She makes Lincoln want to be a better person。 This is a sweet, clean romance filled with humor and faith。 I highly recommend this inspirational romance and think you will enjoy it as much as I did。 I really enjoIyed this book。 Annie and Lincoln make such a great couple。 Their first meeting didn't go so well and he has the scars to prove it。 She is a truly caring person that not only takes care of her grandparents, but also looks out for her elderly neighbors。 She makes Lincoln want to be a better person。 This is a sweet, clean romance filled with humor and faith。 I highly recommend this inspirational romance and think you will enjoy it as much as I did。 。。。more

I had an ARC copy of this book, but this is my honest and voluntary opinion。 Lincoln and Annie first met when he thought she was trying to break a window on his neighbor’s house。 Now he walks into her house unannounced and expecting to stay the night thinking his sister still owns it。 Their relationship is strained when he takes a trip to Argentina with his father and then asked to head up the operation there。 Jessie explores themes of acceptance, family responsibilities and a digging out after I had an ARC copy of this book, but this is my honest and voluntary opinion。 Lincoln and Annie first met when he thought she was trying to break a window on his neighbor’s house。 Now he walks into her house unannounced and expecting to stay the night thinking his sister still owns it。 Their relationship is strained when he takes a trip to Argentina with his father and then asked to head up the operation there。 Jessie explores themes of acceptance, family responsibilities and a digging out after a big snowstorm。 。。。more

4。5 StarsThis is another really good story in this series。 I really liked these two and how open and giving they are。

Lincoln and Annie first met when he tackled her outside her brother's house, believing her to be a housebreaker。 Their second meeting reversed things: she believed him to be a housebreaker or worse and busted a container of oatmeal over his head。 Can even a friendship be built on such a rocky foundation, let alone something more? Besides, Lincoln has his harvesting work to take him away, perhaps even to Argentina, and Annie has her grandparents to care for。 If they decided they want something mo Lincoln and Annie first met when he tackled her outside her brother's house, believing her to be a housebreaker。 Their second meeting reversed things: she believed him to be a housebreaker or worse and busted a container of oatmeal over his head。 Can even a friendship be built on such a rocky foundation, let alone something more? Besides, Lincoln has his harvesting work to take him away, perhaps even to Argentina, and Annie has her grandparents to care for。 If they decided they want something more, could they make it happen?I've been eager to see how Annie and Lincoln would get together ever since they appeared in the previous book - I mean, when a man tackles a woman thinking she's housebreaking, what could it possibly lead to but a relationship? Okay, maybe not normally in real life, but the glimpse we got made it obvious there was going to be something more between them in future。 And it was worth the wait。 This sweet, inspiring romance introduces two lovable characters and lends a front row seat as they gradually realise they're perfect for each other - with some interesting bumps along the way。 All in all, an enjoyable read。 Recommended。Note that I received a complimentary copy of the book from the author。 I was not required to write a positive review and this is my considered opinion of the book。 。。。more

I enjoyed this sweet story because of the characters, their faith, and their values。 Annie was so sweet taking care of her gram and pap in her house and running errands and helping her older neighbors in Prairie Rose, Iowa。I enjoyed how she met Lincoln and how she made him want to be a better person。 It was an interesting story that had me laughing at times。 I received an advance copy of this book and I willingly chose to write an honest review。

Heartland Mistletoe is a sweet, heartwarming romance。 Lincoln and Annie certainly have some laugh out loud moments。 Lincoln throws false accusations at Annie - not once but twice。 Of course they had to fall in love! Few authors tell a store better than Jessie Gussman。 This one has all the faith, fun and romance I have come to expect。 I always put aside whatever I was planning when a new book arrives from her。 They are always amazing and make my day!
BG Armstrong,
I haven’t read a book by Jessie that I haven’t loved, and this one was no exception。 Lincoln and Annie’s story is so sweet and wonderful! The characters are real and quirky and fun and there are plenty of humorous moments—including the best (re-)Meet-Cute ever! But there is a lot more to this story。 Typical of Jessie’s books, she weaves in generous amounts of truth and wisdom—including the importance of family and judging by character over appearances—managing to do it in a way that is natural a I haven’t read a book by Jessie that I haven’t loved, and this one was no exception。 Lincoln and Annie’s story is so sweet and wonderful! I loved how the H and h kept meeting under some very strange circumstances。 The first time that Lincoln had met Annie was the night she came to her brother's new home。 She tried to get her brother to open the door by throwing rocks at his window。 Lincoln was there dropping off something and thought she was a young teenager trying to break windows。 He never forgot their meeting because his crooked nose reminded him of it。Lincoln works for his father's harvesting company and isn't at home very oft I loved how the H and h kept meeting under some very strange circumstances。 The first time that Lincoln had met Annie was the night she came to her brother's new home。 She tried to get her brother to open the door by throwing rocks at his window。 Lincoln was there dropping off something and thought she was a young teenager trying to break windows。 He never forgot their meeting because his crooked nose reminded him of it。Lincoln works for his father's harvesting company and isn't at home very often but when he is, he usually stays at his sister's empty house。 But no one bothered to inform him that his sister had sold her house while he was away, so when he unexpectedly walked in - Annie thought someone was trying to break into her home and she hit him on the head with a box of oatmeal。When Annie offers to let Lincoln stay in a spare bedroom for the few days he will be home, she gets to see some very encouraging things about him。 She especially appreciates the way that Lincoln treats her grandparents that live with her as she cares for them。 These two may have met by accident but there is something that feels right about their connection。 Maybe when Lincoln gets back from his trip to South America they can see where their friendship is going。I received a copy of this book from the author and this is my honest unbiased review。 。。。more

Annie and Lincoln keep meeting under some pretty funny circumstances - well it was a little funny。 Loved how they were portrayed as real people with real flaws。 Each of them is seeking the Lord and how to grow more like Him everyday。 There was some internal dialogue that I usually don't care for but loved Lincoln's。 Really sweet ending。 One of my favorite couples。 Annie and Lincoln keep meeting under some pretty funny circumstances - well it was a little funny。 Loved how they were portrayed as real people with real flaws。 Each of them is seeking the Lord and how to grow more like Him everyday。 There was some internal dialogue that I usually don't care for but loved Lincoln's。 Really sweet ending。 One of my favorite couples。 。。。more
